Just a little over a mile away is Old Town La Quinta Village, where you’ll find all sorts of restaurants, boutiques and tourist-oriented shops, the city museum, yoga, and many professional offices. Every Sunday from 8am to noon, Old Town is host to the farmers market. Every so often they also held art shows there.
If you want to do some serious shopping, El Paseo – the Rodeo Drive of Palm Desert, with fine dinning, galleries and boutiques, is just 20 minutes away.
And if you want more action, Palm Springs is only 40 minutes away on Highway 111. Here, you can enjoy the famous Every Thursday Night Fair, great restaurants, theaters, art, and plenty of culture, including the Palm Springs Museum of Art and Architecture.
