Host profile image

We're Dennis & Naomi, seasoned hikers and lovers of the Ozarks. Our business is publishing children's books reprinted from the 1800s. We stay here at Big Oak Cabin as frequently as we can, often 6 to 8 times each year. The Ozarks are abundant in trails that are easily hiked by almost anyone, while also having very challenging options. We're glad to help you find the right outdoors adventure for you and those traveling with you!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Big Oak Cabin back when it was only a private residence, and bought it to enjoy it for our own trips, as well as to share with others. Its immense trees, including "Big Oak" himself (the 350 year old tree out front) give the property an amazing character. We've never found anywhere so relaxing.
