Perfect location for your getaway! 2 King Bedrooms with 2 On-Suite Baths. Enjoy the views and wildlife from the porch in the mornings (deer, birds, butterflies), and the epic sunsets and stars from the hot tub or fire pit in the evenings, while still being close to the shopping, restaurants and nightlife in town. Fully renovated and comfortably furnished, this open concept 2Bd/2Bth 1930's farmhouse sits on 5 acres in the center of it all. This red door darling is 3 miles from Main to the right (west) and 3 miles from the wineries on 290 to the left (east) and has fully equipped kitchen and a comfy living space with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. House and grounds are pet-friendly but not child-friendly so kiddo's must be 15 yrs or older. FYI: Because of the rural location driveway cameras are in use to assist us with guest arrivals and departures.

Charming country cottage

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. Kitchen is very well stocked, as well as the entire cottage actually. Owner left little niceties for us at checkin. We really enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds, deer and wild turkeys that passed through the property each day. We found this cottage to be a very comfortable place to stay.

Loved this little farmhouse so much!

Perfect place for a quiet getaway with dog. Beautifully decorated home with every amenity. So enjoyed watching the deer and the birds as well as enjoying the hot tub.

Away from the hustle and bustle

Great place to relax and get away from everything. Great location to everything. Fire place is awesome along with hot tub enjoyed it during chilly afternoon and evenings.

Perfect Getaway

Loved this place. Everything was just as shown and better. Very well stocked and had everything we needed. Location is 5 minutes from Fredericksburg and short distance to many of the wineries. Great secluded area for star gazing and wildlife viewing.

Loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved sitting on the porch and watching all the butterflies and birds. It is a lovely yard and setting with multiple seating areas. The house is great too and had everything we needed - and more.

The property was very well cared for and clean! Enjoyed a bike ride and hot tub. The only reason gave 4 stars and not 5 was because of the hot water issues. We did as instructed, however I was still not able to get hot water during my shower. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay! I do recommend.

Best spot in Fredericksburg

We like to visit Fredericksburg a couple times a year. This was hands down our favorite place to stay! They allowed us to check in early and bring our dogs for no extra fees. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas. They had all the conveniences you could need. And even left a welcome note with a bottle of Prosecco and Milano cookies (my favorite) in the fridge. I absolutely see why they have a 5 star rating!

Luckenbach Getaway

Property was welcoming, beautiful, and only 15 minutes from Luckenbach and I ven closer to downtown. Turned out to be a spectacular location without sacrificing the peace of hill country - including butterflies and birdsong over morning coffee. The hosts were gracious and communicative, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Relaxing getaway

Beautiful little house just a short distance from Fredericksburg’s Main Street. Nicely decorated and equipped with everything that you could possibly need for your stay and then some. Very relaxing and picturesque. We will definitely return and visit our deer friends again. Butterflies and hummingbirds were aplenty! Rocking chairs on front porch perfect for morning coffee, and evening wine with the perfect, relaxing view. Quiet, serene area!

Hill Country Heaven!

My husband and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary with friends. This house had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and the hot tub at night had a great view of the stars. Beds were comfortable and the house itself was very charming. Location is also perfect if you enjoy being out of town, but close enough to enjoy town when you’d like. It’s on our list of places to revisit!

Outstanding stay!

This is a beautiful property with great views just a few minutes from Main St in Fredericksburg. You wouldn’t think you were that close to downtown when sitting on the front porch in the morning watching the deer drift by. Tara had the home clean and ready for our arrival and surprised us with a nice gesture to acknowledge our anniversary that we were celebrating that weekend. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway in the Country

What a treat. First, but definitely NOT the last, time staying! Extremely communicative and accommodating host, with some special touches added to welcome us for the weekend. Absolutely gorgeous setting on great acreage, complete with dozens (!!!) of daily deer sightings, birds, hummingbirds, butterfly's...if nature is your thing, you need to stay here. House is very well appointed, tastefully decorated and very comfortable to relax in. Under a 10 minute drive into town, which was perfect to hit up Oktoberfest. Will certainly be back.

We didn't want to leave!

We had a great time at a great property! The location was excellent - close to wineries and downtown, yet far enough out to get that "country" feel. We enjoyed sitting outside and seeing deer, hummingbirds, butterflies, and listening to the sounds of nature. The house was very nice, clean, and well-prepared. We were not there long enough to enjoy all the amenities, but this would be a wonderful location for a longer stay than our two nights. Highly recommended!

Perfect Location

We loved the location and the house! I was looking for a place in the country, but close enough to Fredricksburg, and this was the place. The hosts have many amenities available to guests. The house had everything we could want. Tara was kind enough to do some grocery shopping for us, before our arrival. This made settling in very easy. It was fun to watch the two longhorns next door and listen to the lambs on the other side of us! This house would be a great base for wine tasting at all the nearby wineries.

Our FAVORITE Place to go!!

I have taken "my girls" to this house two years in a row and they want to return next year. We find ourselves quite content to just stay there or hurry back once we have been in town for a few hours. Tara is AWESOME and helps add ideas to our plans and words of wisdom about to do or not to do. It is an overall wonderful place to stay - especially if you enjoy watching butterflies, hummingbirds, and deer while listening to cows mooing when you are enjoying your cup of coffee on the front porch.

Yes, it really is that great

There's a reason this rental has so many positive reviews. Great house - which looks even better in person - that was clearly designed with weekend getaways in mind. The place had everything we needed and things we had no idea we even wanted (like a stocked dog waste station to help keep the yard clean and string lights everywhere outside to make the house more visible at night and provide a chill vibe for hot tubbing). Literally 10 minutes from everything you want to do in Fredericksburg. And the property managers couldn't be nicer or more available. A perfect rental we're very likely to return to in the future.

Fredericksburg Gem

We loved this house just outside of F'burg Texas. It's quite; well appointed; tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Tara and Jeff are great hosts, they've thought of everything for their property. Timely communication. I had trouble with the door opening (MY FAULT, NOT THEIR'S!). They drove out to the house immediately to ensure we could get in. They provided great suggestions on things to do and great restaurants. We will definitely book this property again the next time we visit F'burg. Highly recommend.

God’s gift to us

This home was such a blessing for us! It was “perfect” in every way. Our dogs were in heaven too. Tara and Jeff did an awesome/beautiful job decorating this home. They left it decorated for Christmas. Thank you! We had to skip the holidays this year because of medical in Freidricksburg and Kerrville for my 95yr old mother in law that will be moving here for long term care. We hope to be renting this home many times again. This home and the surrounding country setting is a piece of heaven.

I have stayed in many many homes, this one was my absolute favorite. It had everything! The house is gorgeous from moment you walk in, the decor is Fabulous! The walk in shower, huge stand alone soaking tub, the beds were amazing! She thinks of absolutely everything. We loved the hot tub at night and watching the deer early am and evening! Close to downtown , where we spent all day. Surprise cake and wine! She thinks of everything. I just sent pics to my husband! This was a girls weekend He wants to book in July for our Anniversary! Absolute Perfection

Book the property, you'll be so happy. The pictures don't do it justice, it's absolutely gorgeous. Perfectly decorated, you can tell so much planning and effort goes into making it a comfortable, clean, and beautiful space. The yard and gardens are so well thought out and maintained, it makes sitting on the front porch in the morning while drinking a cup of coffee and watching deer eat truly magical. The owners are wonderful and communicative, Tara even checked in with me during a storm to make sure I hadn't lost power or electricity, she was an absolute doll. The location is fantastic, you're so close to town, the wineries, and even a dog daycare if your pup needs some playtime, but still in a wonderful bubble of quiet and solitude in the farming area. Perfect place to relax and recharge. This will be my go-to spot to stay in Fredericksburg from now on, I'm already planning my next trip, haha.

The property was beautiful and clean. Everything looked exactly like the pictures. Great location halfway between Fredericksburg and the wineries along US 290. The house was stocked with everything you could need for a most enjoyable stay. Numerous places to sit outside and watch the local wildlife. Especially enjoyed using the hot tub at night while gazing at the stars. Appreciated the owner's willingness to help with a last minute scheduling change. We'll be back!
