Our stay

The photos of the property really don't do it justice in terms of understanding the size and layout of the property. I had looked at the photos one hundred times before we left but upon our arrival our breath was taken away by the size and beauty of the house - particularly the conservatory and outside area. The garden itself is huge and our two boys enjoyed lots of football and games, if and when we could get them out of the pool! Champcevinel is a small village on the outskirts of Perigueux which takes just five minutes to reach in the car and has beautiful architecture and restaurants galore. We received a very warm welcome from Laurent who was happy for us to contact him at any point for restaurant recommendations or local information. Thanks for having us Laurent!

Maison tres agreable avec belle piscine et jardin securise. Sejour tres agreable, bien situe et a proximite de tous commerces. Das Ferienhaus war ein Traum. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Alles da, was man so braucht und die Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Der große Pool war das Highlight bei den Kids und Laurent war immer verfĂŒgbar, wenn es Fragen gab. Alles in allem Top. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Fantastic house with a brilliant pool. Laurent and Vanessa were so helpful and made our stay perfect. Enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Supermarket and boulangerie were 3 minute drive away. Excellent séjour !!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Laurent. Celle-ci est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 adolescents. Les 3 chambres sont vraiment agréables et confortables avec de grands lits, de grandes armoires et de multiples rangements. Les piÚces a vivre sont agréables - en particulier la véranda qui donne sur la terrasse - et la cuisine est fonctionnelle. La piscine est d'une taille juste parfaite, comme le jardin (entiÚrement clÎturé). Laurent est un hÎte parfait, trÚs disponible et super arrangeant. Ce sejour est donc un sans faute et nous recommandons avec plaisir Laurent et sa maison !!

Nice house with lovely pool and garden

We have had a lovely stay at the house, great large grassy garden and fantastic pool. The house is modern with all facilities you would expect, except air-conditioning (it can get very hot in during summer in the pool facing extension and the bedrooms). The owner alerted my during the booking to the fact that two to the bedrooms have rather small double beds, not really suitable for two persons. We loved the unexpected presence of the owners cat that lives mostly outside and found it no bother to feed him, but this should have been made clear before booking as some may be allergic or otherwise not like to care for a cat from time to time.
