We had a 3 week stay at Mas de Pierre. We took our dog and the garden is large and totally secure. The views of the valley from inside and out are beautiful and better than seen in the photographs. It is located in a quiet area which is perfect for exploring the local villages. Highly recommended

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here with our two children and our dog. The villa is absolutely beautiful, with a real luxury feel to it. The pool area is a lovely place to while away the day and the view from the terrace and the balcony is beautiful.The location is also a real bonus, as it is only 5 minutes drive from several cafes and bakeries, a supermarket and petrol station, but also has all the best villages and vineyards all within a 15-25 minute drive.We will absolutely be coming back!

We had such a wonderful time. It is beautifully decorated and the views spectacular. The home is exactly as described and is perfectly situated to enjoy all areas of the Luberon very easily with a car. We were very comfortable. Check in was very smooth. Juliette, the property manager, met us and helped us throughout the visit as needed. Weather was cool so too early in the season to use the pool but we sat outside on many sunny afternoons. I highly recommend this home.

This is a beautiful villa with much to recommend it. The home has lovely views and a collected French feel, mixing antique replicas with contemporary furnishings. The gardens are beautifully maintained with pretty evening lighting, the outdoor furniture is excellent, and the property offers wonderful privacy while being well located for exploring surrounding villages. Our concierge, Juliette, was also extremely helpful and a real asset.Future guests should be aware that the upstairs access is somewhat difficult, with no real landing at the top of the stairs. This wasn’t a significant issue for us since we didn’t use the upstairs bedroom, but it could be important for less sure-footed guests.Our major disappointment was the advertised heated pool. A heated pool was one of our most important criteria when selecting a villa, and we expected to use it daily. After we reported that the pool was very cold, someone was sent to turn on the heater. We kept it covered every night as instructed, but it never reached a comfortable swimming temperature. Even on our final day, it was only 21.5C/71F.Because the heated pool was an important advertised amenity and a significant factor in our decision to book this particular villa, its being unusable weighed heavily on our overall rating. I also contacted the owner after our stay to express our disappointment before posting this review but did not receive a response.

Provence in May

Thanks for an enjoyable stay. We had a great time touring Provence. Heated pool was a plus, since we had a few cool days. Juliette was very helpful, overall a great time!

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. We had some difficulties operating some things in the home as many instructions were in French. However, Juliette was extremely responsive and & prompt to all of our inquires. My sister did mention that the mattress in the downstairs bedroom could have been more comfortable, but we understand that everyone's mattress preference is different. We had had some difficulty operating the washer and dryer despite translating every option on both. The washing cycles seemed extremely long and the dryer never seemed to completely dry. All in all, a wonderful stay. We can't wait to return.

Sehr schönes Haus und Lage und idealer Ausgangspunkt um den Luberon zu erkunden.

Sehr gute Einrichtung und angenehmes Ambiente (selten ein so großes und gutes Bett bisher in einer Unterkunft gehabt, was bei entsprechender Körpergröße für einen entspannten Urlaub nicht unerheblich ist!), toller Blick und Sonnenuntergang.

Havre de paix

Accueil très chaleureux et compétent de Juliette, laquelle a répondu à toutes nos demandes en terme de recherche de restaurants, visites... Une semaine passée au Mas de Pierre, où tout est pensé pour le bien être des vacanciers, fût des plus agréable. Intérieur décoré avec goût, jardin sans vis à vis, grande piscine, équipement électroménager complet ... que du bonheur. Enfin Luna, notre Yorkshire, a pu apprécier cette liberté de gambader dans cette belle propriété fermée.

Magnifique maison avec vue

Très belle maison, avec piscine chauffée à notre arrivée, belle vue, tout est parfait pour passer un très bon séjour. L'accueil par Juliette est parfait et ses idées de visites et de restaurants tout au long du séjour sont agréables. La région est magnifique, très jolis villages et balades pas loin de la maison.

Ein Bijou

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem herrlichen Haus verbracht. Der Empfang durch Juliette war top organisiert, die langstieligen Tulpen werden in bester Erinnerung bleiben und die Flasche Weisswein haben wir mit Genuss auf der Terrasse getrunken. Das Haus ist liebevoll und mit Stil eingerichtet, alles aufeinander abgestimmt und in jeder Ecke duftet es wunderbar. Wir schätzten die beiden Terrassen sehr. Die Gartenmöbel sind angenehm, der Pool beheizt und hat eine gute Grösse, um einige Längen zu schwimmen. Die abendliche Beleuchtung zaubert eine schöne Stimmung. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig zum Schlafen. Tagsüber hört man die Autos von der naheliegenden Dorfstrasse. Wir schätzten die gute Lage des Hauses. In kurzen Distanzen erreicht man Gordes (Zentrum), l‘Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Roussillon und auch Avignon. Wir kommen gerne wieder, um hier Ferien zu verbringen. Angelika, Daniel, Désirée und Hund Miro

Vacances dans le Lubéron

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Gordes dans le Mas de Pierre ! Très belle déco, piscine et jardin très agréables, vue imprenable sur le Grand Lubéron, très bon accueil de Juliette . Un petit bémol sur les travaux bruyants dans la propriété qui est en face du Mas de Pierre.

Wintertraumtage in der Provence

Wir durften zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Januar in Gordes geniessen. Bei täglichem Sonnenschein war die Terrasse eine Wohltat, Sonne pur! Wir können das sehr schöne Haus nur weiterempfehlen!
