From the warm welcome to Anse Du Moulin we knew our stay would be first rate. The property is exceptionally clean and well presented. Furnished well with all facilities we needed for our stay, this gite was a warm and cosy base for exploring the area. Close to local shops and a stone's throw from Cherbourg it was petfect for us. Great for a couple's retreat and base for walking and touring the region. Thank you.

Very nice Appartment with a garden and Terass

One of the best Appartments we had. Clean and the Equipement is good Quality. Bed is extremly good. 2 m wide x 2 or 2,2 long. Perfect.

Tolle Wohnung für zwei Personen mit hochwertiger, geschmackvoller Einrichtung.Uns hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Besonders schön sind das Holzdeck vor der Wohnung und der große eigene Garten mit dem Bach, der unter dem Haus durchfließt.Das Meer ist keine 100m die Straße runter und man kann von hier aus sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit dem Fahrrad wunderbar die Gegend erkunden.Etienne ist ein toller Gastgeber, der uns mit verschiedensten normannischen Spezialitäten empfangen hat und obwohl wir kein französisch sprechen, konnten wir alles Wichtige klären.Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind!

Sehr nette Vermieter.Die Wohnung scheint neu renoviert, modern und vollständig ausgestattet und war sehr sauber. Die große Holzterasse und anliegender Garten sind uneinsehbar und schön ruhig, wie das ganze Anwesen.Für 2 Personen perfekt.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Wer mehr sucht findet in Cherbourg genug Auswahl.Am "Ende" von Contentin sind die Wege ins Landesinnere etwas weiter, aber das weiß man ja vorher. Die nähere Küste ist abwechlungsreich und bietet auch immer wieder kleinere Badestrände.

Wir waren rundum begeistert! Das Häuschen ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt nichts. Es ist alles sehr sauber. Der Garten und die Terrasse sind traumhaft und lassen einen den Tag und die Abendstunden genießen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, liebenswert und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten alles in allem einen wunderschönen Urlaub und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben zwei tolle Woche in Bretteville genossen und wurden sehr herzlich vom Gastgeber und seiner Frau empfangen. Obwohl wir die französische Sprache nicht beherrschen, hat unsere Verständigung gut funktioniert. In der kleinen, sehr sauberen und gemütlichen Ferienwohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub in der Normandie benötigt. Sollte mal was nicht in Ordnung sein, steht der Gastgeber sofort zur Verfügung. Die große Terrasse, mit teilweisem Blick auf den Atlantik sowie der sehr schön angelegte und vorallem idyllische Garten laden zu ausgedehnten Mahlzeiten und zum Entspannen ein. Die Gegend um Bretteville ist traumhaft und sehr gut zu Fuß oder mit Rad zu erkunden. In den zwei Wochen Urlaub haben wir sehr viel gesehen und erlebt. Wir sagen Etienne und seiner Frau von Herzen "DANKESCHÖN" und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

logement formidable et confortable dans une très bonne location

Une des maisons de vacances les plus belles et les mieux équipées que nous ayons jamais louées. L'aménagement est moderne mais confortable, toutes les choses de la vie quotidienne sont prévues, la cuisine est entièrement équipée, ce qui permet de très bien cuisiner. Un jardin magnifiquement aménagé et séparé est à la disposition. Les propriétaires, sympathiques et incroyablement serviables, habitent dans l'autre partie de la maison et sont très aimables. La région invite à de nombreuses randonnées, on peut se promener sur la plage. Cherbourg est juste à côté et ceux qui souhaitent faire des excursions vers les nombreux monuments sont à 10 minutes sur la route nationale. Si nous devions à nouveau passer des vacances dans cette région, nous y retournerions volontiers

Schönes Appartement!

Das Appartement ist hochwertig eingerichtet, es ist alles da was man braucht und auch in guter Qualität. Alles war sehr sauber und Etienne ist ein angenehmer und diskreter Gastgeber. Supermarkt inkl. Bäckerei, Apotheke etc. ist in 5 Minuten per Fahrrad erreichbar. Es gibt einen durchgehenden Fahrradweg nach Cherbourg (30 Min.). Fahrräder kann man sicher im Garten unterbringen. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön und man hat einen Blick in den gepflegten Garten. Das Appartement ist ideal für 2 Erwachsene und man kann von dort aus viele Ausflüge machen. Wir waren eine Woche Ende August dort und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Le Cotentin : une région qui mérite le détour

Très agréable séjour à Bretteville. Gite très bien équipé, joli jardin, au calme et proche de la mer. Propriétaires accueillants et disponibles. Gentilles attentions gourmandes à l'arrivée. Hameau un peu à l'écart, nécessité d'une voiture mais commerces à 5mn. Beaucoup de choses à voir, en bordure de mer comme dans les terres, on peut randonner sur le GR 223 et le soleil a été de la partie pendant quasiment tout le séjour. Vacances ressourçantes dans cette belle région pas encore trop envahie. A voir !

un séjour délicieux

"C'est un trou de verdure où chante une rivière..." J'emprunte à Arthur RIMBAUD pour décrire cet endroit totalement charmant, entre campagne et mer. Le gite a le charme d'un cottage anglais. Tout a été prévu dans le moindre détail par Frédérique et Etienne, hôtes accueillants et prévenants. Les amoureux du calme et de l'authenticité seront comblés.
