Great place and even better neighborhood!

Overall Great experience! Scott was amazing and very attentive and quick to respond to texts with questions. The house was super close/walking distance to amazing restaurants and bars! Street parking was fairly easy to find (we had 4 cars we needed to park) and were always able to find something within a few blocks. We happened to be staying when it was incredibly hot and the AC did struggle to keep the place cool. However keeping windows open and fans definitely helped. I would suggest bringing or proving box fans for the windows if you happen to be staying during a super hot time. If its not crazy hot then everthing works great and fine! Would definitely stay again!

The stayed exceeded our expectations!

We stayed here with 9 individuals, and everyone slept comfortably. Scott was an amazing host, he stayed in constant communication with me up to check in and even stopped by when we arrived. Our friend left his ID in Sacramento and had to get it overnighted, Scott came by and unlocked the mailbox for us immediately! The place was very clean, we were right down the street from Vons grocery store, and we were about 15 mins from each location we went to. I would definitely stay here again and I'd give it 6 stars if possible! Thanks Scott!

Great family getaway

We had 2 families stay in Scott's place and it was perfect for our stay. We were close to everything we wanted to do including the Zoo. Legoland was also a pretty short drive. We were always able to get ahold of Scott and he had great recommendations for beaches for kids. Would definitely stay here again, he knows what he is doing for sure!

This was a great property. The description was very accurate. Scott is super easy to work with. If I had questions, I texted and he promptly responded. The location was perfect, everywhere we wanted to go was no more than 15 minutes away, beaches, old San Diego, Balboa park. Walking access to some great restaurants. Parking was a bit tricky and we had 2 cars. While you can always find parking, we often had to drive around to find a place. And because we were driving rentals, I didn't want to park too far away. Once we found a good spot, we were happy to walk somewhere for food so we didn't have to move the car. The house was a little warm at night, but the fans and air conditioner cooled it down by the time we went to bed- especially if you leave the bedroom doors open. We had seven adults and one infant. Yes, you can fit more, but it would have felt a little crowded. We thought our number was a good fit for the size of the home. YES, would stay here again.

Beautiful quaint home

Scott's home was beautiful and really utilized every space! Came with all the amenities that you would need and then some. Everything was new and up to date. Really glad I got to stay here with my relatives from out of town for my wedding.

Scott moved to San Diego in 2011 from the Pacific Northwest. Mary lives on the east coast. We travel to see each other every 3-4 weeks. We started racing triathlons in 2016. We love seeing new places and being active in the outdoors. We like to run, cycle, swim, hike, scuba dive, and sail. We also love to go to lots of restaurants on our travels.

Why they chose this property

San Diego is an amazing place to live and to travel to visit. The weather is the best never getting extremely hot or extremely cold. There are many outdoor activities to do all year long. The beaches are close and the people are friendly. It is a casual laid back city that you will never want to leave!

What makes this property unique

This is a great property. It makes great use of the space and is a very comfortable setting. It is very centrally located and is especially close to the San Diego Zoo. There is a grocery store 1.5 blocks away. There are many trendy restaurants and bars in the North Park area. It is a short walk or drive to everything you need.
