Quiet and Comfortable, 20 mins to GNP/pet friendly
Our privately owned home is centrally located in the valley, providing a quiet, secluded environment off of a country road with comfortable ranch-style accommodations. Equipped with all the conveniences of home, enjoy wildlife, sunsets, and views from the covered front porch or large fenced back yard. We are close to the airport, (15 mins) Glacier National Park, (20 mins), Whitefish Mountain Resort (35 mins), Bigfork/Flathead Lake (25 mins).
The space itself is an open floor plan, with bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. The master bedroom (Tempur-Pedic queen bed) has a large walk-in closet and bathroom with a walk-in shower and jacuzzi bathtub. The second bathroom is close to the guest bedroom (queen bed), with a walk-in shower. The living area, dining area, and kitchen are open in the center of the house. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you'll need (and if you don't find it there, let me know and I'll bring it over). There is another room in the back of the house with a twin bed, washer/dryer, kid toys and games (pack n play and blowup mattress also).
The house sits on 1.25 acres. The country road to get to our house is about 0.25 miles and flat. There is plenty of room for parking. We have a big back yard that is fenced for your furry friends where you'll find a fire pit, table and chairs, and gas grill. The front covered porch is a great place to sit and take in the views of the Whitefish Range and Resort. We live close by on a few acres, that you can see from the house. We are an active family who takes advantage of everything Northwest Montana has to offer and are happy to share our knowledge, but also respect your privacy. If you'd like tips on things to do let me know, otherwise we will stay out of your way.

Relaxed, peaceful environment. Clean, comfortable, homey. Hosts thoughtful about appointing house, very responsive to questions. Works well as base to Glacier, but reasonably close to groceries, etc. Enjoyed watching turkey and deer browse near house. Would happily stay here again.
The location was perfect!! The house was beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the huge flock of turkeys and the deer. The renter was very nice during email exchanges. Just beautiful, we would tent it again.
We enjoyed this secluded home outside GNP. It was very clean and exactly as listed on site. We loved seeing the many deer and turkeys roam the property in the mornings and evenings. The beds were very comfortable and we felt rested to continue exploring the park. We had a great first trip to GNP. Thanks for hosting us.
Stayed here last year. Was excellent then. Was excellent now. Lots of room. Quiet. Close to whatever you are in the area for. Will stay there again if we go back next year.

Jeff, thank you for everything. I hope all is well
with you guy right now!
Our purpose of the trip was to visit Glacier National Park. This house was a twenty minute drive to the west entrance so perfect location for us. Columbia Falls had two grocery stores and other shops and restaurants that suited us well. Hostess made a great trip for us.
The house was easy to find and worked well for my family of 4. Close to town to run and get groceries and within 20 minutes of Glacier. The amenities were all there, but the best part was the front porch and being able to eat dinner out there in almost complete silence with a great view of the mountains. And a friendly visit from the neighbor’s dog. Niki was responsive to all inquiries and very helpful in answering questions. We appreciate the hospitality.
We loved our stay here. Two large bedrooms on either side of the house, with VERY comfortable beds. The wood stove quickly heats up the house if needed. Kitchen is very well stocked and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We loved just opening the back sliders to let the dog out in the large fenced yard. We contacted the on-site owner once for a shower curtain needing replacement, and she immediately responded with a new curtain. It's a bit of a drive to downtown Columbia Falls, but if you're looking for solitude, a GREAT place from which to get to Glacier National Park, and a very relaxing stay, this is it. We would absolutely stay again.
This house was exactly as listed. Well appointed with anything you might need - there was even a bag of ice in the freezer for us! Plenty of spices and basics.
The house is private and the fenced backyard was great for our dogs (and some peace of mind when grilling at night!). The location is great for unwinding after a day of activities.
The house has lots of nice little extras - laundry basket to use, nice selection of dishes and cookware, and comfortable furniture and bed. The host is very kind and responsive when I had a couple questions!
Be aware the water tastes fine - but does smell of rust coming out of the tap.
We weren’t disappointed when we first pulled up. It looked rustic & cozy. Even though it’s not totally secluded, there are a few other homes about, it’s still lovely & quiet & we saw deer roaming around. We spent every evening sitting on the front porch enjoying the view, listening to the birds. The inside was no different, beautiful, cozy furnishings, but still felt like you could ‘put your feet up’. The home was supplied with everything little thing you could need , complete with a piano. I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub as well. I don’t know how many times we said ‘we could so live here’. It seemed pretty centrally located to lots of places too. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Nikki for offering such a wonderful home away from home.

I’m so glad you liked it and had a great stay. Thank you for the nice review. I’m sorry I didn’t get to meet you. Next time!
We loved our stay here. The house was immaculate and quiet in the country, but close enough to Columbia Falls, Kaispell and White Fish and Glacier National park. We saw turkey and deer outside our front door everyday and loved sitting outside enjoying the piece and quiet. We travel with our two pups, so it was beyond wonderful to have a big fenced in back yard for them to run around in. The house and location are even better than pictured and again it was squeaky clean. The beds we’re comfortable and even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen looked well stocked. Most houses in Montana and Wyoming don’t have air conditioning, which is not a big deal because it is usually cooler weather, however we had a hot streak while staying of 98F, but it was still not a big deal. The house is surrounded by shade trees and we raised our windows at night and slept comfortably with the fans provided. I highly recommend this cute vacation rental. Thanks Niki for a great time!
Nice spacious layout, beautiful area, and really loved the large fenced yard for the dogs! Host was very accommodating and reachable for any questions. Wonderful experience!
House and fenced backyard were great. Furniture comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with variety of pots/pans and utensils, etc. Glacier Park was beautiful with kayaking after drive up road to the sun. Would definitely rent again. Nikki was easily reachable when code to house did not come thru with message from her. Not sure what happened there🤔 We all agreed it was a wonderful get together.
I am a mother who loves to spend as much time as possible outside playing with my family. My husband and I grew up on the east coast and came here over 20 years ago. We have been here ever since! We absolutely love our area and try to take full advantage of all it has to offer.
Why they chose this property
We love this property for several reasons. We are very close to town but secluded in a quiet setting. We find it convenient because we are central in the Valley and can get to every surrounding town in a short period of time. And we have great veiws of the mountains!
What makes this property unique
We love to sit on the front porch and watch the sunset. We miss that most about living in the house! I also wish I could cook in that kitchen every day.
