Ideal location, lively flat, management company was very quick to respond to a a couple questions. I was under the impression it had 2 bedrooms and it’s a 1 bedroom. All worked out because I was traveling with my daughter. I would stay again.

Dear Kerri,
Thank you so much for your review, we’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay in the home.
Our sincere apologies for the confusion regarding the additional bed. We’ve now updated the listing to clarify that it is a sofa bed.
We’re happy everything worked out well and we hope to welcome you back to one of our homes in the future.
Best wishes,

We found the apartment exactly as advertised. The location was convenient, the accommodation clean and quiet and communication with the property manager very good. We would not hesitate to stay there again and recommend it to fiends staying in London.
We have stayed several times in this property and found it to meet our needs of good location, good light, comfortable furniture and bed, and excellent contact with the local agent. Excellent shopping in the neighborhood and proximity to public transport.
The flat is spacious and gracious; some upgrades would not go amiss (a railing down the five steps to the bedroom, a good reading light in the living room) but overall a fine residence for long or short stay.
This was an absolutely stunning place to stay. It was my favorite. The balcony was perfect for morning breakfast and late-evening wine. The neighborhood was great and very close to the Tube. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Excellent location; Clean! Beautiful and spacious living room. Nice to have those balconies.
Two good quality bath towels per person.
Would definitely return.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for six nights at the flat. Lots of space for two people. Great location with several wonderful restaurants within walking distance and close to two tube stops. Also, excellent use of space in the flat. The only negative is provide better instructions for heat and hot water.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the most adorable flat in Notting Hill. This charming residence is a delightful gem tucked away in an inviting and relaxed neighborhood just a stone's throw from the bustling main street with its plethora of restaurants, coffee shops, and great pubs.
The open layout seamlessly connects the main room to a well-equipped kitchen, making it perfect for preparing meals and entertaining guests.
The host was very accommodating and communication was seamless.
Fantastic location between Notting hill and Bayswater, quiet, private, safe and clean part of London. A bit tight for a family of 4 including two young children...
Very responsive host - We had an issue with shower drainage which was solves promptly.
Apartment is fairly old in terms of fixture, furnishings, appliances and carpets - you're paying for the location.
This is a lovely property on a quiet square in Bayswater, a convenient location in London, near good shopping and restaurants, close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park and to major Tube lines. The flat is well equipped with wifi and televisions, kitchen facilities, and comfortable bed; the two balconies at front and rear of flat enhance the light and setting. Older guests should be aware that the short staircase to bathroom and bedroom has no railing nor is there a stability bar in the shower: improvements that could be easily made to this otherwise very good flat.
This apartment was wonderful. Great location, very clean and well maintained.
The drawbacks were the lack of a clothes dryer (I couldn't find the drying rack that was mentioned) and the fiddly door lock, which was quite exasperating. We also couldn't control the heat, and it was a bit cold while we were there. The couch in the living room is old and uncomfortable, so we didn't spent any time on it.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor (about 20 steps up) and there are about 4 steps down to the bathroom/bedroom.
The balconies and back garden view from the bedroom made this a really special place, though!

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Nice but cold
PROS: It is quite a lovely, stylish and spacious flat. Just a 5-minute walk from the Circle Tube Line to get most everywhere downtown. A balcony for when the weather is fine. Very comfortable sofas and bed. Top of the line Miele kitchen appliances. And VERY clean. CONS: (1) THERMOSTAT: After setting the thermostat to a comfortable desired temperature, it would reset to a low temperature and the flat would cool. This required resetting the thermostat roughly three times per day. I suspect an app on the owner's phone that can also control the thermostat was responsible for this tug-of-war. (2) NO HEAT/HOT WATER: On Sunday the boiler stopped working entirely resulting in no heat or hot water! We had to sleep with hats and sweaters on as well as extra bedding from the sofa bed (in late April). Repeated calls to the owner’s phone number given on VRBO went to a recording: “We are sorry but we are having technical difficulties….”. Phone calls and emails to the rental agent eventually resulted in a repair man arriving at 11AM. Had it gone out on Friday night, … [Stay tuned to this spot to see if the owner refunds one day’s rental for that particular inconvenience. If he does I will update this post to say so.] (3) NO DRYER: It has a washer/dryer, but the dryer does not work. Instead there is a rack supplied to spread out wet clothes to air dry. (There is also a laundry at the corner - 16 UKP for a small load.) (4) STAIRS: There are 5 stairs in the flat to go down to the bedroom.
A light and airy flat with good work space, tv and wifi connections, in a neighborhood well served by restaurants, shops, and services. Very good communications with the property manager made for a pleasant stay.
Each morning we enjoyed coffee and juice on the patio as the Londoners walked their children to school. At the end of our long, luxurious days exploring the city we would share a wine and retrace our day’s adventures on the beautiful patio. It was the perfect place to relax. The kitchen was very well stocked and the bed comfortable. We wanted for nothing.

Lovely apartment...can we move in?
Three of us spent over a week in this lovely, spacious, light, well equipped apartment. The location was fantastic; the beds, bed linen all good quality; and furniture all very comfortable and smart. We even cooked a full Christmas lunch for 4 in the kitchen! We will definitely stay again.
