Michael met us at the property for an orientation. He covered everything about the condo from kitchen & laundry facilities to TVs and WiFi and how to open up the window wall. There were 2 huge baskets of fresh fruit & crunchy munchies. He could not have been nicer to us.

Amazing Property

We had such a fun and carefree stay at The Penthouse Maui! Michael was the perfect host, offering such kind hospitality throughout our reservation process and our arrival and departure times. The condo was beautiful, fully equipped with EVERYTHING you might need while on vacation. Bedding and mattresses were super comfortable in every room, kitchen was fully stocked, there were tons of things to use at the beach, and the ability to open up space to the lenai was just perfect. The views from the condo are truly stunning! We spent so much time just enjoying the outdoor space. You don't want to miss the fresh catch from the South Maui Fish Company food truck, which is only a mile away! It's so good!!! Mahalo!

Awesome Vacation!

This was a wonderful place to stay! There was 8 of us and we were all very comfortable here, plenty of room and everything you would need. The beach is awesome and we saw many turtles, the lanai was a wonderful place to sit and relax. You can walk to many restaurants and shops and even though it is on a busy street it is not noisy. Michael was great to work with and also very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

From before check in to check out, Michael and Mary were awesome! Best vacation we have had as a family! 14 days - wonderful place for time together & space for time alone. Fantastic vacation spot

9 family members from age 2 to 69 stayed for a week. The location was walking distance to almost everything we wished for. The beach is steps away and has great swimming and snorkeling. The kitchen is well stocked with cook wear, there are lots of beach toys and towels. The property manager made a special effort to bring a clothes steamer even though there was an iron available.

Fabulous views, plenty of room. The ability to open up the sliding doors along the entire patio area was so much fun. Management very responsive. The only downside was the property is a little older, and is on very busy street.

Family getaway

This property was amazing! We loved all the space and how all the sliding glass doors opened up the entire room. Michael was very helpful with getting us checked in and getting all the little extras that made it easier on my family as well as the beautiful welcome gifts! We all had enough space to relax and watch the sunset every night. The proximity of the beach just can’t be beat!! We just love Maui and have stayed in Kihei many times and we will be sure to rebook this property our next family trip.

Treasured memories

I booked this property for four couples so we could each have our own bathroom and a fantastic view. The accommodations exceeded expectations. Well designed and decorated home at a stellar location. The lanai and wrap around deck was where we chose to hang out. Loved being right on the beach and also having the ability to walk to multiple stores and restaurants. The home is equipped with everything you need for the beach. Side note: it isn’t easy to get kayak in and out of the storage bay, so need to be fairly strong. While the pool is not fancy, it is warm. The grassy area is a lovely place to hang out as well. The kitchen is well stocked and we had the most delightful welcome baskets. We hired the recommended private chef and it was the best meal, service of the trip. Michael is an amazing host! We felt very welcomed and cared for.

A fabulous place

This is a truly unique property that I have stayed in several times with my family and friends. The accommodations are wonderful, with four bedrooms/four baths plus a separate room with a sofabed. The living space consists of a large covered lanai and a wide-open living room/dining room/kitchen. The views of the beach, Molokini, and Lanai are spectacular. We bring binoculars with us to enjoy the views of whales and dolphins. The furniture is quite comfortable and over the years it has been very well maintained. This is not a cheap place, but if you are looking for a luxury experience in a lovely condo, this is it.

Beyond fantastic!

I was a little worried in the beginning when planning this trip of a lifetime after reading some blogs which said “some” vacation rental sites prestage the property photos to make the rental appear larger, more beautiful, or closer to the beach than it really is, etc. This was absolutely not the case for Penthouse Maui. In fact, as beautiful as the property photos that are displayed on VRBO it is even more beautiful in person. Absolutely breathtaking!

This is our first time experiencing the “penthouse” and it’s been extraordinary! This beautiful home has met all our family’s needs, wants and desires... from enjoying the lanai’s breathtaking mornings with coffee in hand, to swimming with the turtles passing by and into the evenings of enjoying the painted sunsets. Our children and grandchildren have enjoyed the boogie boards, sand toys and all the beach equipment accessories. A special thanks to Micheal for being so accessible and providing some great recommendations. We hope to return in the future, but until then we will bask in our countless amounts of memories!

The Penthouse Maui sits three stories above the sand of Kihei's Kamaole Beach II at Hale Pau Hana. The 2,824-square-foot, four-bedroom property accommodates up to 10 guests and features vaulted ceilings with mahogany rafters.

"You can go across the street to grab a bite to eat or a bottle of wine. If you are on the beach and don't feel like making lunch, there are half a dozen fabulous spots nearby. It's so simple, and when you're on holiday, simplicity is a beautiful thing.

The home includes roll-away window walls facing the ocean, a deck with barbecue grill, a
recently renovated interior and up-to-date appliances such as individual climate controls,
wireless internet, Apple Airplay, HD flat-screen TVs and in-room safes. It is also
stocked with games and equipment for enjoying the tropical setting, including two sets of golf clubs, kayaks, stand-up paddle board and more. The kitchen is appointed with two full-size refrigerators, a wine fridge, a beverage cooler, a wet bar and a dedicated ice maker in addition to stainless-steel appliances.

We have all the necessary amenities, storage lockers, outdoor shower, beach toys
and chairs, insulated bags. All you have to do is show up with your bathing suit and enjoy.
