Nice holiday home, close to the sea

In a quiet area, near the historic city center, for rent nice house with porches, terraces and garden.
The house is in a dead-end street. The area is particularly quiet and you can go in 10 minutes walk to the city center by a small path.
Side street, a wood vis-à-vis that descends into a small valley.
Entrance to the house on the ground floor; a staircase leads to the living room that are on a level with the garden, facing south. potential entry into the house by the garden.
A large kitchen living room gives access to two porches, with two terraces and garden.
Two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, separate toilet. It is very spacious, very light and particularly quiet.
Equipment of the house: kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator; beware: there is no dishwasher ...; in the laundry washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer.
Television with free box. Due to a faulty network, the reception of the television may be of poor quality.
Garden furniture, sunbathing and barbecue.
Saint-Brieuc offers all the cultural and commercial amenities of a small coastal town. Many walks are possible on the harbor, beaches and coastline nearby.
The main beach is 5 km away.
The bay of St Brieuc being very vast, the nearby tourist sites are numerous: to the east, Cape Fréhel, Erquy, Dinan (medieval city) and a little further Saint-Malo, Mont-Saint-Michel; in the west, Paimpol, Brehat Island, Pink Granite Coast ...
You can enjoy the pleasures of the seaside resorts such as Binic, Saint-Quay Portrieux, and the pleasures of a wild coast, less crowded, the customs trails and the many coves.
Many sea-related activities are offered nearby.
I can communicate more photos and information on the house, the area and the possible activities. Animals are not allowed and smokers are imperatively invited to smoke in the garden.
The rental includes water and electricity and the house is offered with all bed linen and towels.
For a single week rental: 590 €.
From two weeks rental: 540 € per week
During the full summer period, from July 7 to August 18: the house is rented for a minimum of two weeks.

lovely house in quiet location

The spacious house is lovingly and artfully decorated and furnished. From each window you have a beautiful view. The house is so light that you hardly ever need to turn on a lamp - at least in the summer time. There is a nice garden and there are plenty of options where to sit both indoors and outdoors. The towels were really fluffy and the kitchen very well equipped. The blinds also helped with a good night's sleep. We went for long hikes every day along the coast - with the coastal path around Brittany that was really easy. If you're looking for a beautiful and quiet place close to the coast, that's the house to book.

Great house great holiday.

My family stayed at this charming house in August 2016. Greeted on arrival by two lovely ladies who showed us around and explained how everything worked (induction hob/washing machine/TV etc) The house is light, spacious,clean and decorated with the owner's paintings. There are two large terraces outside, ideal for soaking up the sun as the garden faces south so it gets the sun most of the day. Perfect for barbecues in the evening. Try Le Koadenn restaurant in the town. One of the best we have been to in France and we have been to a few! Saint-Brieuc was a new part of France for us to explore and we found some great beaches nearby and also great scenic cliff top walks with stunning views over the bays below. Fantastic days out visiting local surrounding towns, markets etc but be prepared to drive a little. We didn't actually get to meet Dominique during our stay but he kept in contact throughout by text/phone making sure everything was ok for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Patrick,Lesley and Emma.

Mes amies, qui les ont accueillis , ont eu plaisir à rencontrer des personnes sympathiques, prêtes à profiter de la maison dans le respect du mobilier et des règles de vie. Nous avons eu, au cours de leur séjour, quelques échanges sympathiques pour les aider à mieux profiter de leurs vacances. Ein sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Wohngegend

Wir hatten wunderbare Ferien in Dominiques liebevoll dekoriertem Haus. Viel Platz, viel Licht, alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir können das Haus und Dominique als Gastgeber nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Excellent séjour !

Nous recommandons vivement cette location où nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous ! Nous y avons séjourné avec nos 2 petits enfants qui ont pu s'adonner aux joies de la patinette, la maison étant située dans une voie sans issue. Rien ne manquait ! Endroit très calme sans vis à vis, maison très propre, lumineuse et spacieuse, literie confortable et propriétaires très conviviaux. Merci à Dominique pour tous ses précieux conseils pour visiter cette bien belle région.

Location spacieuse et bien située

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette jolie maison lumineuse et très agréable à vivre, avec tout le confort nécessaire. Rien ne manquait ! De plus, le propriétaire est très accueillant et sympathique (petits cadeaux de bienvenue !) et passionné par sa région (nombreux guides touristiques laissés sur place). Excellent base for exploring Bretagne

An extremely comfortable and well equipped house and a very helpful host. In a quiet street which is a cul de sac. South facing garden which is not overlooked. This is also well equipped with garden furniture for outside living when the weather is good. A car is probably essential, although the walk into the centre of St Brieuc is only 15 minutes. Wonderful market in St Brieuc on Saturday morning. We could not recommend this property highly enough.

Wunderschönes Haus mit liebevoller Atmosphäre und allem Komfort

Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen am Ende einer Sackgasse. Es ist hell und freundlich mit Wintergarten und Panoramafenstern. Von dort aus ist der nächste (wunderschöne) Strand mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Es ist alles im Haus, Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Waschmaschine und Trockner, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Ein schöner Garten ist am Haus. Das Haus ist nicht unbedingt geeignet für Familien mit kleineren Kindern. Wir waren mit unserem 14jährigen Sohn da, das war ideal, weil auch in der Gegend um Saint Brieuc so viel zu entdecken ist. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, wir würden immer wieder hin fahren!

Wunderbar !

Wir verbrachten wunderbare 3 Wochen in einem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus, dem es an nichts fehlte. Es war auch kein Problem, dass wir kurzfristig erst einen Tag später anreisen konnten. Leider haben wir deshalb Dominique nicht persönlich kennengelernt. Besonders haben wir den Wintergarten und die Terrasse genossen und die helle, freundliche Wohnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Felicitas + Peter aus Mannheim

Quelle belle demeure, quel beau jardin, quel bel intérieur et que l'on est bien "chez soi"

J'ai eu plaisir à confier ma maison à ce sympathique couple qui a su profiter au mieux de l'ambiance de celle-ci. Ils ont respecté tous les aménagements et la décoration de la maison que j'ai retrouvée prête pour y habiter à nouveau. Séjour très agréable à Saint-Brieuc

Notre séjour d'une semaine à Saint-Brieuc a été très agréable. L'accueil de Mr Meignen a été chaleureux et convivial. C'est un grand connaisseur passionné de sa région et il nous a orienté afin de découvrir les lieux intéressants dans Saint-Brieuc et aux alentours. La maison est lumineuse, vaste et fonctionnelle, la décoration très personnelle apportant un supplément d'âme. Le jardin et la véranda invitentà la détente. Nous recommandons vivement cette location dans laquelle nous retournerons avec plaisir. N'hésitez pas!

Nous avons bénéficié d'un accueil très chaleureux par Mr Meignen : il nous a présenté sa maison avec enthousiasme car elle est très bien organisée, très claire, la décoration intérieure bien agencée. Nos deux petites filles ont été ravies. La documentation sur la région est complète et il nous a conseillé des adresses très efficaces. La cheminée est très agréable. Notre séjour a été très agréable.
