Wonderful Mountain View and lake view as well. Not too far from Yellowstone. House was quite well appointed but no internet/TV and we didn’t find any games to play. Property managers tried to get it fixed but didn’t happen. Little hiccup at check in but they responded well by phone to get that fixed.
We had a nice time at moose crossing. The cabin was very nice and clean. The lake and views were worth staying outside of town. My only complaint is the extra fee I had to pay for damage insurance. I don’t feel it was necessary especially because nothing in the cabin (furniture, dishes, appliances) could have had an extraordinary value.

We appreciate you staying with us at Jordan’s Henry’s Lake!!! We are sorry you feel that way about the damage insurance but accidents do happen and even a damaged bedspread can be several hundred dollars not to mention if furniture should get damaged or a DJ due broken! This is a necessary fee - sorry!!!
Absolutely perfect place for a solo writing retreat. I especially appreciated the piney air fresheners, the tweezer mirror in bathroom, big windows, ceiling fan, propane grill, and porch!!!! Log cabin is beautiful inside and out.
(At first I was perplexed by rodent-like droppings on porch, but then I was enchanted when the bats came out at night!)
I was fortunate to have the space to myself, front cabin was empty until my last night. Spent a ton of time on the shore and took a dip. Neighbors were very quiet, it was exquisite solitude. A darling, laughy fox crossed the yard. No bug bites! Thank you so much, Shawna and Moose Crossing!!! Glorious, magical location.

We hope that the setting gave you some new inspiration for your writing and that you will come back. Nothing cures writers block like the solitude of a mountain retreat! Thank you so much for staying with us!
Beautiful home close to Yellowstone. Clean and nicely updated. One bedroom has a beautiful view of the mountain. Don't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.
This cozy cabin was the perfect home base from which to explore Yellowstone and the surrounding area. Even though it is on the smaller side, it is very functional, updated, comfortable and didn't feel small for the 2 of us! The property on which it sits is beautifully manicured--loved the fall colors that surrounded us! Would definitely stay again!
Great stay convenient to west entrance. Beautiful views. Just what we were looking for, exclusion from town. Only thing bed was way too firm for us otherwise great.
Great place to stay if you looking for a home base when visiting Yellowstone. We stayed a week and went to Yellowstone for 5 days and a Grand Teton for one day. The cabin is on the northeast side of Island Park so it is only 25 minutes to the west entrance of Yellowstone and a couple of hours to Grant Teton. The kitchen had everything needed to make most meals and having a grill was nice (propane was included). We are a family of five (kids 14, 11, 9) so it definitely beat staying in a hotel for an entire week! I will look to stay here again on our next trip to Yellowstone.
This was a beautiful cabin in a private area near the lake. We had a beautiful lake and mountain view. It was very private and quiet. So nice after leaving the West Yellowstone crowds. The inside is so nice and the hosts have put a lot of thoughtfulness into their furnishings. The furniture is wonderful. There is even a makeup mirror in the bathroom for us older ladies that need a magnification to put on makeup. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is super clean and very nice. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Our family had a blast. It was a perfect fit for us. It was close enough to Yellowstone and also offered great views and experiences in Idaho! We really enjoyed our time!!!
Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin has even been updated since the pictures on the site. It was equipped with everything we needed.
Beautiful lake setting with mountain backdrop. Located close to West Yellowstone making it an easy drive into the park each day.

Thank you for the kind review! The cabin is located in a perfect location to give you easy access to YNP, but still have you "getting away from it all". We think the sunrises and sunsets over the mountains sitting on the deck and enjoying the mountain air are one of our best qualities!
Very nice. Clean, view to lake, not far from west Yellowstone. It was a little warm upstairs but the Host went and got us a fan so it wasn’t so bad. Weather not her fault. I’d stay again

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Henry's Lake. It is our pleasure to bring guests items that are needed during their stay and fans are something that I normally keep on hand just in case one breaks at a cabin! Thanks for being such great guests!
It is the ideal place to stay to visit Yellowstone National Park. About 15 minutes from the West entrance of the park and away from the very touristy West Yellowstone city.
You can actually see Lake Henry from the cabin, although this cabin is not next to the fire pit shown in some pictures.
The cabin is spacious and beddings are comfortable.
Equipping this cabin with a dish washer would be a plus point for bigger parties.
Property is wonderful. Excellent condition. Perfect location, close to West Yellowstone and the National Park.
Booking was simple and easy.
We would love to stay here again!
The hostess has thought of everything, from warm blankets for Spring cozy evenings, shampoo and lotion, fully stocked kitchen and nice linens. We were even nicely surprised by the welcome lunch pail for picnics and local brownie mix. Location to West Yellowstone was super convenient. Cabin is at the top of the hill about 30 ft from main road. Pro tip would be to bring earplugs as the downstairs bedroom can be a bit noisy or to do so much outdoor exploration that you collapse into bed regardless.
The cabin was a great location and a perfect fit for my family. The view of the mountains was wonderful
