Not the first time we have stayed here. Everything was outstanding and look forward to our next visit. Actually saw a moose and calf for the first time just inside the west yellowstone gate. Yhank you for having us
I could not recommend this place more. So nice and well kept. Curtis was very friendly and helpful and I will tell everyone going that way to use this house. Loved it
We really enjoyed our stay at the Mighty Moose cabin. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. There are a lot of thoughtful simple touches that I really appreciate like having tissues available (sounds silly, but so many places do not ), information for restaurants, and information on a nearby emergency vet clinic. They also left a lovely little gift bag for us as a welcome to our stay. It’s close to amenities in Island Park and also close to Henry’s Lake and West Yellowstone and the park. Overall, a very comfortable and cozy stay.
What a fantastic place for 4 of us friends to stay while visiting Yellowstone. It was an easy and beautiful drive in to the park. The beds and couch were comfortable. Great kitchen that was well stocked. The place was awesome and very spacious. It was a wonderful place to come back to after a day at Yellowstone. We loved to sit out on the deck watching the birds and then one afternoon was a special surprise. From up the road we heard cows getting closer and closer and then there were a bunch of them coming down the hill with the cowboys/cowgirl and dogs keeping them in line. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
This is a great accommodation and the host was excellent with communication. It was a little further from West Yellowstone than we anticipated, but otherwise we had a great stay.

Hi There,
Thank you for the review!
We're sorry if the distance to West Yellowstone was further than anticipated.
We've driven to West Yellowstone and YNP many times, and we're confident it can easily be done in 20 minutes, in normal conditions. Maybe you missed the distance in our listing's title and description, or maybe traffic or weather was very bad(?).
Reviewing our conversations, the only other issue we're aware of during your stay was related to the fireplace. A well-meaning person in your party had turned it off at the service panel (which is labeled so as to prevent that). But we worked through it fine.
We try our best to satisfy every guest, and our ratings indicate we succeed. We always check with our guests after arrival, and ask for feedback. Our average rating (among 162 guest reviews over six years) is 10 out of 10, according to Vrbo.
Hope to hear from you again!

We had a great stay at Mighty Moose cabin. Had everything we needed. So much space. Loved the welcome gift. So thoughtful. We even saw wild life right outside our window. The only downside was construction traffic...took well over an hour to get to and from the park.
Beautiful cabin that was a spacious place for my family to base our visit to Yellowstone. Hosts were quick to respond and cabin was well outfitted. Clean and comfortable!
Excellent communication with the owner, cabin was clean and well stocked. Great location with easy access to Yellowstone National Park via West Yellowstone. Groceries and gas available nearby in island park or west Yellowstone. Quiet at night, comfortable.
As a log cabin owner, this place felt just like home. Well stocked, great location, and we even saw moose the first morning we were there. Cute side yard with a fire pit and play set. Bonus that we could park our camper there! It was easy to come back and forth from Yellowstone. Helpful notes: 2 bathrooms on main level and loft with 3 beds, couch, and TV. Conveniently located 20 min outside West Yellowstone. Had a toddler booster seat with tray. Would stay again!
Was great for our blended family of 10, 5 adults and 5 kids aged 5-13. Beds were very comfortable and with the ceiling fans and a couple open windows with screens it was nice and cool at night. The drive to Yellowstone NP is 20 minutes and currently there is construction going on on the highway. Had plenty of plates, utensils, spices and several condiments left in the fridge. Nice large washer and drier and plenty of towels. We even had a moose come up into the back yard one evening which delighted us all.
