About this property

HOT TUB ON DECK. 14 miles to Yellowstone! Easy Access.

Please feel free to inquire about the property and we can answer your questions about the cabin and Yellowstone Park.

This cabin sits at the base of a former ski hill that you are welcome to explore. Enjoy the mountain views in our little piece of heaven! The cabin is located 14 miles to the west gate of Yellowstone National Park.

We have built a 2nd cabin next door. Call us if you need additional space and we can see if renting both cabins would work for you! (2nd cabin listing #729724) We also offer two "treehouse" cabins that sleep 2 in one queen bed and offer mini fridge and microwave. See Listings #1713755 and #1716738.

The cabins sleep 6 comfortably in 2 queen and 2 twin beds: One queen in the bedroom on the main level with the upstairs loft offering one queen and two twins. You'll feel right at home in the mountains with the forest themed interior decor. Bed, bath and kitchen linens are all provided. A full sized washer and dryer help you pack for your vacation a little lighter so you have room in your suitcase to take home souvenirs!

The kitchen features full size appliances so you can easily bring groceries with you and prepare food for your friends and family. Pots, pans, utensils all provided. You will want to bring your own foil and sandwich bags for those picnic lunches you take to the park with you.

The living room has satellite TV (Dish network). However, we find ourselves on the front porch watching for deer and moose that frequent the area or just sitting and "taking it all in!"

The Island Park area is famous for world-class fishing on the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, the nearby Madison River and Henry's Lake. Summer activities include excursions to Yellowstone Park, Harriman State Park or Hebgan Lake. Perhaps you prefer to pack a picnic and hike or bicycle up the private mountain behind the cabin. We recommend you take time to view Mesa Falls waterfall, drive to the top of Sawtelle mountain, float the river from Big Springs to Macks Inn, visit the Johnny Sack historic cabin and of course take a moment to just relax and breath!

Hot tub located on front lower porch. Come home and enjoy a warm, relaxing soak after a long day in the car or on a snowmobile!

Wi-Fi is available and is shared with cabin #1. Please be courteous and not have every device of everyone in your group always on. Use at your own risk.

Great stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone. It’s an easy drive to the West Yellowstone entrance, plus you get the benefit of staying at a private property. It’s nice and quiet and the whole family enjoyed the hot tub! Very clean and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay!

The cabin was a wonderful cabin; clean; near West Yellowstone. Cabin had everything you would need. Beds were comfy! My rating reflects just that the busy road in front of the cabin wasn’t mentioned. Light sleepers might reconsider but otherwise everything else was great! Thank you !

Beautiful views from the top and bottom decks, ideal for sunset-watching in the hot tub! Ideal location wise for visiting Yellowstone during the day. We took Rzrs out and rode horses the next day, there’s so much to do in the area and the cabin was super nice to come back to at night. Pretty comfortable and cozy. Would definitely recommend for a couple or a small family.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Two Top Trading Co. Cabin#2! The cabin was spotless and well-stocked with everything we could possibly need, from kitchen essentials to extra towels. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all slept soundly after days filled with hiking and exploring Yellowstone. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. They provided clear and easy check-in and check-out instructions well in advance, which made our arrival and departure seamless. We even received helpful recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The location was perfect for enjoying the scenic beauty of the mountains, with easy access to Yellowstone and West Entrance. We especially appreciated the spacious decks, well-maintained hot tub after a long day outdoors. We've rented through VRBO for years and this cabin truly exceeded our expectations. We hope to stay here again in the future and would recommend it to family and friends. The cabin and host truly made it memorable vacation.

Very cozy

The cabin is very cozy and clean. Just as described. Both decks were awesome to sit and relax. You have an perfect view of the sunset which we're amazing every night. We would definitely stay there again.

Tranquil getaway close to Yellowstone

Stayed here as a couple and with my father-in-law. The view from the porch/balcony is breathtaking, best enjoyed from the hot tub. The cabin is well-appointed and well-equipped, we had everything we needed. Good heating and great hot shower. We enjoyed the BBQ and firepit outside. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful cabin

It was a beautiful cabin, we loved the living arrangements and it wasn’t far from the west gate for Yellowstone. The hot tub was exactly what we were wanting after driving all day and the best was very comfortable. Our favorite thing was waking up early in the morning and sitting up on the top deck and drinking coffee.

One of the most memorable family vactions yet! The size of the cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Kids loved the jacuzzi, mountain views, and sledding. The cabin is close to trails, easily accessible for snowmobiles, kid friendly too!

This was a beautiful cabin right by the mountains. It was clean and had plenty of room for the kids to play. We enjoyed grilling outside under the mountains, and hiking behind the house. Very close to Yellowstone and surrounding sights. Would 100% recommend

This is a very nice place to stay. Clean well maintained. Very nice owners

Everything was as advertised. Beautiful cabin. Has everything you could need on vacation. Hot tub is a definite plus! We showed up a day late due to weather and were able to stay an extra day to make up for it. Great experience and very nice people. We will be back again.

Great location by Yellowstone And Idaho

This was a perfect location. We stayed a week and were only 20 minutes from West Yellowstone and Island Park Idaho. We spent most of our time in Yellowstone park , but it was nice to take some time in Idaho on ATVs going up Signal Peak. We could see the Grand Tetons which we had visited the day before. It was nice to have the option of the two towns for dinner choices. Loved how clean the place was and the hot tub was immaculately clean - very nice after a day of hiking. Will recommend to friends.

Very efficient little cabin

Well designed. Great for grandparents and 2 teens. Hot tub and balcony porch were big hits. And hooks! This place has wonderful hooks in the entryway, shower, and main bedroom. We have often wondered why this simple detail is not added to short term rentals.

Amazing!!!

My husband and I had an amazing time staying at the property. It was fresh and clean when we first arrived, very inviting. I loved all the welcoming decorations and how everything was labeled. Made things easier! That hot tub was so peaceful to enjoy at the end of a long day at the park. Having all the amenities there was also a huge plus. I loved how convenient and close. The property was to the park as well as West Yellowstone. But we really loved how there were no immediate neighbors around us. We can look out the front porch and just see the lake and the mountains and it was just an amazing view and it gave you a sense of serenity . The cabin was so cozy! I loved it! We will definitely be making a journey back. Thank you for letting us stay there. Your property definitely made our trip very enjoyable.

Little piece of heaven!

We celebrated our 30th anniversary during our stay and we were so blessed to be there. It didn't take us long to feel at home and enjoy coming back each night after our daily outings in Island Park and Yellowstone. We had no idea Island Park had so many beautiful trails, lakes and rivers to explore. The cabin itself is literally 14 minutes from West Yellowstone; super convenient and even though it's right on the 20 highway, the noise was never an issue. We did not want for anything during our stay. Bed, comfortable, the quilts on the beds were so nice and cozy, kitchen well stocked, washer and dryer were so convenient. The Sam Patch grocery store, 7 minutes south was well stocked and prices were reasonable, considering it's a tourist area. The TV was easy to use and sign in to our apps. The heaters worked well. Parking could not be any easier, being able to park right in front of the cabin. We are already thinking seriously about coming back next year. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!!!!

This was a great home base for Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The hot tub was perfect for soaking sore muscles after hiking and driving through the park. Everything was clean and comfortable. Owners provided great information and simple check in. One morning, we hiked the mountain behind the cabin and the views of Henry’s Lake and the mountains were incredible.

We encourage you to explore the mountain (125 acres behind the cabin), relax in the hot tub or enjoy a s'more using the outdoor fire pit!
