Really loved our stay here. About 20-25 mins from the West Entrance of Yellowstone, this was a perfect getaway for our family of 4. Plenty of room, super comfy furnishings, and Ty was awesome with recommendations. Would def stay here again if we are in the area.
This was one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in! The views were amazing, and they had absolutely everything we would need for our stay. Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our six night stay at this property! Ty was very responsive to our needs from check in to check out! The house had all necessary amenities and the view of the Rockies and golf course were amazing!
Our family of 4 stayed here three nights of vacation. It was a perfect spot to relax away from Yellowstone. Just a short drive to the park. The immediate area around the cabin had many fun activities for all. Our host was very responsive and had thought of everything for the cabin.
Stayed for 2 nights as two couples and had an absolute blast. We drove for 20mins to Yellowstone National park each day. Ty was very flexible and communicative. The cabin is newly renovated and just perfect - fantastic kitchen, super comfortable beds, great lounge area with fireplace and big TV for movie night - we loved it!
The property was spacious to accommodate my family of 8. It also was properly stock and had all the supplies I need for my stay. It was not far from Yellowstone West gate. At night you can watch the line of traffic coming back from the park. The beds, pillows and especially the comforter was most comfortable!
A group of 4 of us stayed here for a week of snowmobiling. The cabin had much more room than the pictures can show. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook a variety of meals. Spoke with Ty on a few occasions and he was very sincere and willing to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!
Booked this house for a bucket list trip to celebrate my husband’s 50th Birthday and our 27th anniversary. The house was clean, close to West Yellowstone entrance, the grocery store Ty suggested had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable, such restful sleep after exploring Yellowstone. Close to Harriman park where we went horseback riding. The house had all the cooker we needed to make a meal. Perfect house for a perfect get away.

Enjoyable Stay
Loved the updated cabin. So clean and cozy. When booking we thought there was a hot tub as per the listing. 😢 Basically just bring your own food. Everything else is there and provided such as laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, coffee and spices. Well equipped, we loved it!
The cabin is exactly as described and just as inviting as the pictures on the listing. The view out the back is beautiful and fit our expectations. The fireplace is cozy and easy to use. It made watching a movie by the fire on a cool night stress free. Our daughter enjoyed having her own space, but she also took advantage of getting us all involved in a card game. Great cabin with everything we needed for a wonderful trip!
This is was a great place and location which had a great view. I would have given this place 5 stars but the communication from Ty wasn’t good.
Ty, I hope you read your reviews and this will prompt you to read the messages that I left over a month ago regarding the over payment on the firewood that we used. Thanks. Joe

I am sorry you feel that I did not communicate during your stay. I responded to all messages promptly and let you know that the firewood is provided by a 3rd party we work with and gave their Venmo info to reach out to for the overpayment you made for the firewood. The firewood is on an honor system and you had to have sent them a Venmo payment for the firewood by scanning the QR code next to the firewood. We don’t just charge you for it.
Super close to the park but away from the crowds. Great space inside - everything g we needed while spending time on vacation.

Loved the cabin! The area was beautiful and was located close to everything we wanted to see. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were so comfortable. I would definitely recommend to everyone! Thanks for a great stay!!
We took a family vacation to Yellowstone and this cabin was absolutely perfect! The view of the mountains from the back porch was incredible! My parents had some car trouble on check-in day but I was able to email the owners and they responded quickly and went above and beyond to be helpful! We were all very impressed with the owners and the cabin.
Ty was a great host. Very responsive. No problems it was immaculate, very well furnished, internet and satellite television were awesome as was the neighborhood and it was an easy drive to Yellowstone.
We were amazed when we first entered the cabin. It is so spacious! I always expect properties to look larger in the photos, but in this case the actual cabin is larger than it seems in pictures. It is warm and inviting, and immaculate. The kitchen was perfect, with all amenities. What was really nice was that after the crowds of Yellowstone we could retire to a nice, quiet warm and cozy retreat. We loved our stay and look forward to going again sometime. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Very clean, comfortable cabin. Not far from west entrance of Yellowstone park (less than 30 minutes). Supplies are more than enough. Highly recommended.

About the host

We have lived in Rexburg, Idaho our entire lives, which is one hour from Island Park. We have 5 children who love the outdoors as much as we do. We have always loved the Island Park area and spending time in the mountains of Idaho. Family is a very important part of our lives and what better place to spend time with family, than the cabin making memories to last a lifetime.
Why they chose this property
This cabin was formerly rented out as 'Yellowstone Meadows Getaway' and was a vacation getaway for travelers to Yellowstone National Park and Island Park, ID for many years. When this beautiful cabin became available for sale we were so excited and purchased it! We just spent 3 months remodeling the entire cabin and it turned out beautiful. We love the Island Park/Yellowstone area and want to provide an immaculately clean and comfortable place to stay for future visitors so you can enjoy this incredibly beautiful area. The interior of the cabin is tongue and groove pine giving it a rustic cabin feel. Comfortable pillow top beds provide a restful nights sleep after a busy day sightseeing, riding ATVs or snowmobiling. A fully stocked kitchen allows you to cook your own meals and have everything you need. A BBQ grill on the back deck is perfect for a family cookout and a fire pit is great for a 'hot dog' roast or to cook marshmallows in the evening. There are a number of restaurants close by to 'eat out' if you so desire.
What makes this property unique
'The Yellowstone Cabin Retreat' provides guests with an experience that is both 'rustic' yet with 'all the comforts of home'. Cozy up by sitting next to the fire on the rock fire place. Come and experience the magic of the Yellowstone area with your family/friends while staying in the Yellowstone Retreat.
