About this property

Perfect For ATV, Hiking, Yellowstone Park, Snowmobile, and Anything Outdoors

D&D Lodge is truly the cabin to rent. With recreation trails for all levels from beginner to advanced. No need to trailer your toys to another parking lot jump on and ride from the front door. Also being close to the reservoir it makes it easy to get the boat or the jet ski's in for a day of fun on the lake. Our cabin has WiFi, Dish network, a Sundance Hot Tub, and a Gas Fireplace (no need to work and stock your own fire for the night) The kitchen is very large with plenty of room to cook for an army. The kitchen is open to the dining room and living room that makes everything that much more spacious. Feel free to relax on 1 of the 4 large decks with rocking chairs and benches already available to you. Fire up the BBQ grill for some yummy steaks, or maybe that fresh catch you pulled in off the rivers. Upstairs has a large open loft area before going into hallway for the bedrooms. Off the loft is a balcony with a great view of all the action up front. Thank you for taking the time to look at our posting. Please contact us with any other questions

Overall great stay at this cabin. Whole family enjoyed our time here, everything about the cabin and all it included/had to offer, and the area we were in. Clean, spacious, and nice/communicative host. Would recommend and stay here again in future for another trip to Yellowstone.

Fabulous Place to Stay!!
We had 8 of us staying here for a family vacation to Yellowstone. This cabin was perfect! It is located in a great location and was lovely. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, as well. Communicating with Lana was easy and she gave a lot of ideas for things to do and places to go. She was an unexpected boon to our vacation. We also had a little hiccup with the hot tub heating and she had someone come out to fix it in short order. If we ever are back out that way, we would totally stay here again in a heartbeat!! I think her family's vacation home has inspired my brother to build one possibly. We, truly, enjoyed staying here!!

First when we drove up to the cabin, there is a single wide trailer right on the corner. And next door there is a trailer that is trashed and demolished just laying there in the road. You walk into the front door and you run right into a ping pong table that you have to walk around. There’s no air conditioning and in the upper 80’s it gets really hot and stuffy during the day. And at night it’s hot upstairs even with the windows and fans going. The ceiling fan in the living room only stays on low and there is no other fans downstairs. We called and asked for some fans to be delivered and the host responded by telling us to open the windows and we would be fine. That did not help. The windows in the living room were fixed so no circulation in the main area. Plus you have to pay to take the trash off. You have to pay to the dump down the road. Not happy with our stay

Summer Family Trip
We loved this cabin. Everyone loved the hot tub and the table tennis. The host was great. She promptly responded when I emailed with questions. We spend most of our time boating on the lake. Such a nice cabin to come back to!

Maybe I'm too critical - read below for good and bad
Giving this place a generous 4 stars. Honest review now. Plenty of room for our crew of 8 people. Kitchen was well-appointed (less commonly had a flat-top griddle, waffle-maker, insta-pot, and slow-cooker) as well as most spices, and even had coffee. There was a cooler supplied for day trips as well. Many of the knives were not sharp. Beds were comfortable except the top bunk, but my 5 year old didn't complain. Couldn't figure out how to turn up the heat on the hot tub until the last day (LOL). I will mention that the road to the cabin is unpaved (because our friend's car rental was not supposed to drive on unpaved roads - oh well), but the driveway is, and could fit probably 4 cars or more. There is not enough room in the laundry room-bathroom. There were barely enough towels and washcloths for all of us. We had to wash laundry nearly every day and you cannot fully open the dryer door - this is my biggest peeve about the place. It hits the sink cabinet on the opposing wall. We could not find a spigot to top off the water on the hot tub or rinse things off outside. The living room is comfortable for resting in the evenings - really nice reclining sofas. The ping pong table was great for downtime. There is a small backyard area with a firepit which the boys enjoyed building fires. The front door keypad was a little finicky at times. Yellowstone was closed to flooding while we were there which was a huge bummer. We tried to make the most of it, and found other things to do in the area like rent ATVs (many trails all around), Grand Teton NP, Mesa Falls, Craters of the Moon, Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center. Harriman State Park was gorgeous and would be a fantastic place for fly-fishing and they have horseback riding there. Would I stay here again? End of the day, I felt the place was overpriced. I could buy 4700 Hotwheels cars for my boys. The flooding happened within just a couple days of our stay so there was no getting our deposit back or our friends canceling their flights. Next time to Yellowstone we will probably take an RV for just my family. We drove all the way from NC to stay here.
