About this property

Smell the fresh Mountain Air at the "Old Hwy Cabin"

Need to take a break? The "Old Hwy Cabin" is centrally located in the Last Chance area, within walking distance from the world-renowned fishing stream, "Henry’s Fork River". Also located 30 minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone Park. You could spend days or weeks enjoying the surrounding mountains and valleys!
With year-round access this cabin was built in 2016 on a quiet road. The cabin has all the modern conveniences with the charm of the past. Our comfortable, but rustic cabin is your home away from home. Enjoy sitting out on the deck and watching the sunrise while you drink your morning coffee. Or grilling a steak on the BBQ in the evenings, or better yet cooking a hot dog and roasting marshmallows over the fire as you find the constellations in the sky. (But please practice fire safety! Fire pit for use when fire risk is not high or there is not a burn ban in effect.) Don’t forget to swing some shoes in a friendly game of horseshoes while you’re enjoying the great outdoors.
Our cabin is 1950 sq. ft. and has vaulted ceilings with Knotty Pine tongue and groove throughout giving it that rustic country feel. Hungry? After a day of adventure, come home to a kitchen that has everything you’ll need to create a home cooked meal for your family or friends, with seating for 10 available. The Living Room has a 58" SMART TV and a Blue-ray player (DVD’s are not provided), a sofa sleeper and a couch, a gas fireplace will help take the chill off at night while you enjoy a book or a family card game. A small selection of family games and books are available for your use. There is also WIFI access (password provided on-site). The Utility room has a washer and dryer for your use (please provide your own laundry soap) and ample hooks to hang wet items like bathing suits, towels, or snow pants. The Master bedroom is located off the kitchen and has a king size bed, with a TV. The Master Bathroom has a jetted tub to relax in after the days adventures. The upstairs loft is classified as the 4th bedroom with 3 twin size beds, one is a trundle bed. A perfect spot to play a quite game of chess. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have queen size beds ready for a good night’s rest after a day of hiking, fishing, and exploring. For children, we have toys, games and books as well as a portable crib, and high chair. Our Goal is to make sure our guests have the best experience possible, and to make our guests feel at home!

A Quiet, Rustic Getaway
Just what we wanted. Someplace quiet with everything that we needed. We were able to cook/bake our breakfast & return late afternoon to enjoy drinks & grill our supper then enjoy an evening of cribbage. Very clean, beds comfortable, use of washer/dryer, adequate dishes & cookware & basically a home away from home. Pam quickly responded to message regarding a leak & fixed in no time. Highly recommend this rental.

Clean and spacious vacation house
We absolutely loved staying in this home. There were 9 of us and we appreciated having 3 full bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and such a great kitchen to cook in. The beds were comfortable and the whole house was very clean. We also enjoyed the fire pit and the 4 roasting forks that were available for guests to use. The kitchen was well- stocked with small appliances: 2 griddles, rice cooker, crock pot, and toaster. There were also plenty of pans and cooking utensils. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available in every bathroom and plenty of towels. We loved staying in this home and would love to return.
