We loved our stay at this house, especially the kids! The lake front property is beautiful and the house itself is very interesting with so much character! The drive into Yellowstone is a bit far but it was great to have so much space in the house and the yard for unwinding after a long day at the park.
This property was amazing - having a lake right out your back door was amazing! Very spacious, beautiful views and plenty of memories made at this lovely cabin.
Our friend group has stayed at this cabin multiple times over the past several years. It's by far our favorite place to stay in Island Park. The cabin is in a great location, easy to access, and a very comfortable place to fit out larger group. We look forward to staying here again soon.
This is a huge cabin with lots of rooms and beds. They have most of your kitchen needs which made fixing meals easy. It has a large table and benches so you can eat together. We loved the hot tub, grass to play games, the fire tables, deck, and boat dock to paddle board from. This was an awesome cabin and area to have all my children and grand children come and have fun. I will be coming back!Things to know: You do have to haul your garbage to the dump so know that the dump is closed on Sunday and Monday. When you arrive you have to go to an office to open the gate. Pull off to the side because other guests have key cards and they don’t like it when you are in their way.
My friends and I have been to this cabin many times in the past, and we were so excited to see it was available again for our trip. The cabin is spacious but very cozy. It has everything you need to make you feel right at home.

We are very sorry that you found the cleanliness of the house unsatisfactory it would be very beneficial to us if you could be more specific so we can address the issue with housekeeping
This house is way bigger than you think when you arrive , there are so many different rooms and plenty of space for large groups . The deck by the dock was relaxing after a long day in Yellowstone.

Thank you we are so happy that you enjoyed your stay
We loved our stay here. We enjoyed plenty of towels and hot showers for everyone thanks to instant hot water heater. The extra kitchen workspace and refrigerator was very useful since we had our family Thanksgiving here. We also enjoyed the hot tub with a foot of snow on the ground. Owner was very helpful. Thank you!!
We had so much fun, the cabin is magnificent. There are so many nooks and crannies. The kids play hide and go seek for hours. We could dock our boat right out back of the cabin. We always go to Yellowstone early in the spring, so we will see lots of animals And the crowds are nonexistent. In the town of Yellowstone, the people are so friendly. The cabin is decorated so beautifully. We just loved our stay, and for sure will come back.

Perfect cabin in the woods!
We loved our stay at this lakefront cabin! It was big enough for our group, comfy, cozy, clean and had all the entertainment you could ask for! Our kids loved being so close to the lake! They could walk down any time to fish. The hottub on the balcony was awesome! We stayed there with our friends, so we had 14 people total and it was perfect. There were plenty of beds, towels, pillows,blankets...
We were only a half hour from west Yellowstone. We loved this trip and will definitely stay in this cabin again!!
Beautiful place, beautiful home, perfect for our group
We spent three days of fall break as an extended family group—four different families, adults, teens, and children. The location is beautiful and great for trips into Yellowstone. We have stayed several times as a group in Island Park homes. This was the best experience so far. There was room and comfortable beds for everyone. The kitchen and large dining table were perfect for family meals and games. We had relatively good weather for this late in the season and went on several trips to Yellowstone to view bison, elk, and geysers and take small hikes. The place was perfect for our family get-together. We would all love to stay here again.

The stay was excellent and found almost everything at the location. Close to both Yellowstone and Teton. There are few things which could be improved, like you have to drive 5-6 miles one way to dispose your garbage and have to pay $3 per 20 lbs garbage load. The backyard area was beautiful but could use more cleaning. Patio chairs and tables had a lot of spider webs which had to be cleaned before we could use them. Had to do lot of attempts to make Key fob for first time entry work at the gate.
We were a group of 11; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in Island Park to snowmobile and ice fish. The snow amount was amazing, best in years we were told. The house was perfect, plenty of room to enjoy our vacation together, a long with the space to spread out and have some quiet time when needed. We cooked many meals inside and on the grill, the kitchen was fully equipped with what we needed. We loved snowmobiling with High Mountain Adventures sleds and back country tour and our snow coach ride through the park with Yellowstone vacations. No fish, but still a good time. Thank you for sharing your home with us, it was a perfect base for our amazing family vacation!
This house was a great place for our larger family to stay while visiting Yellowstone and the Tetons. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their space. We loved the backyard and access to the lake. The hot tub was a hit with the kids, especially after swimming in the lake. Access to Yellowstone was super convenient and West Yellowstone is a great little town. Our only complaint is that the house was not clean. In fairness to the cleaner, there are A LOT of knick knacks and decorations so there's a lot to dust, but there were also a lot of cob webs on those decorations. We found trash or toys under almost every bed. And we also hosed off the porch ourselves because everything outside was so dusty. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean so the main traffic areas get attention, but it seems like a lot of the extra details get missed. It's difficult knowing you pay a cleaning fee when I think we left the house cleaner than we found it.
We had such a great time. Nice big cabin. It was a little dusty and cluttered. The views were amazing and the kids had a blast fishing. Beautiful property.
Made a great place for a family trip! The lakefront location is perfect and provides a lot of water activities. Very close to Yellowstone too. Gary was very easy to work with!
Everyone loved the property the firering, swinging chairs, and the hammocks. Granndaughter used them everyday. House Decks was alittle crowded but very big and loved loved the huge dock with chairs. And thank you all for a wonderfull stay.
We were amazed at how beautiful and well decorated this home was. It was not only a house, but a home. Everyone fell in love with it. Instead of dealing with a property manager, we spoke with the owner. When I had a question, it was answered ASAP . We would love to stay there again.
Our family loved staying at this cabin It was so relaxing and beautiful The cabin was decorated beautifully and we could not of asked for a better experience We will absolutely be back and can’t thank our hosts enough for making this experience a wonderful memory for our family
If you’re looking for a (very very very) snowy cabin experience, this is it. Feels secluded but still lots to do, nice big cabin, responsive owners. The listing includes all amenities so won’t go over that, one thing that was unexpected was lots of extra freezer/fridge space and had all the pots and pans you’d need.
