Quiet area close to shops and restaurants and less than a 10 minute walk to the park. Jonathan was very accommodating with our pups and communication was quick and friendly.
This place was by far one of the best rental spots my friend and I have ever stayed at. The host, Jonathan, was incredibly informative of the check in/out process in a timely fashion, the apartment loft was clean and smelled amazing when we got there, and everything was just overall fantastic! The loft had a modern/cute style and we loved having the sunlight come through the skylight windows early in the morning. Finding a street parking spot was a breeze as well. If we ever have to stay in Harrisburg for any other events, we’ll definitely be booking this spot again!
I enjoyed this stay! The host was very helpful and provided plenty of recommendations from coffee and breakfast, to dinner, to late night cocktails. Lots of useful information about the area in general as well. Very quiet neighborhood. Felt safe and secure! Relaxed, watched Netflix, took a walk around the neighborhood. Everything was great!
Overall it was a great get away. The location was near most the restaurants. There was a good amount of noise at night. The house is right by the train station. The house itself was clean and everything you needed. Little difficult with the AC Units but we got it figured out and the TV was a little slo. But other than that, it was a good time. I would come back and stay here!
I wanted to give it a bad review, so less people would book it, so I could in turn book it more!
So yeah, roundabout title aside, it can't be stated enough that the location is essentially perfect, it is near literally everything of note in Harrisburg. Strawberry Square is a 45 second stroll up the street, the forum as well as the museum is just a few minutes away on foot, also city island, the capital, and a handful of nice restaurants. The place itself was very clean, surprisingly quiet given the busy area, and despite looking modest from the outside is very spacious, I stayed by myself but it would easily accommodate more. Probably a good pick for couples, seems perfect for exactly two people, but again, there's enough space for more. Also, this one is on the more affordable end of the locations I've looked at. 10 outta 10.
I debated on a 4 or 5-star review. It is definitely not a 5-star location, but 4 seems a little harsh. The bad. The TV did not work for Sh!t. The owner’s response was, to make sure the firestick is plugged in. That wasn’t the problem. Internet speed was great, so it was likely the firestick is too old. The cleanliness was borderline OK. The one bathroom was tight, the pet fees are hidden and excessive, the hidden part may be a VRBO thing. Do not stay here if you have mobility problems because the stairs are steep. The living area is one flight up. The bedroom is two flights up. You will be going up and down steps a lot. The good, the owner's communication was great, and the location was close to all the action, but a little to the side of it. I actually like that. Would I stay here again? If I don’t bring my dogs, No. The only advantage of staying here is it allowed my dogs, but made me pay through the nose to do it. If I don’t bring my dogs I would stay at one of the nicer hotels close by. I was worried about parking before I arrived. Turned out to be a nonissue. Plenty of local on-street parking. Use the app. The four-hour free parking code can be used more than once on the same day. The town of Harrisburg is great.
Enjoyed staying in at this property had no issues.....what's so ever ease of location to everything is a huge plus we were stayed in the downtown area....where everything was minutes away for us place was very clean and very open area would ask to stay there again if we ever go back to Harrisburg Pennsylvania thanks you so much for your hospitality!!!!!

Great place for a weekend stay in Harrisburg
Overall, my group gave this property 9 out of 10 stars. Fantastic. The owner Jonathon was very communicative and had extra beds set up for us in advance. The place was extremely well equipped and if we needed anything it was within walking distance. Had several great meals and visited local watering holes without moving the car.
If the occasion calls for another weekend in Harrisburg, would not hesitate to stay here again. We had five adults and it was a little tight, perfect for 4, dreamy for 2!
You can squeeze 6 in but it would be tight.
Everything is the house seemed brand new. Jonathon was extremely attentive without being intrusive, never met the guy face-to-face but he responded to a text quickly that I sent him during our stay.
As advertised and highly recommended.
