Did you know that vacation rental sites penalize hosts who fall below a 4.7-star rating? Many people believe that the star ratings are like a hotel's rating system. Unfortunately, the rating system is not built that way! A Four-star review significantly and negatively impacts the average overall rating, making it a challenge for hosts like us to maintain our listing!

Great adult getaway
Overall it was a great get away. The location was near most the restaurants. There was a good amount of noise at night. The house is right by the train station. The house itself was clean and everything you needed. Little difficult with the AC Units but we got it figured out and the TV was a little slo. But other than that, it was a good time. I would come back and stay here!

It is OK loft.
I debated on a 4 or 5-star review. It is definitely not a 5-star location, but 4 seems a little harsh. The bad. The TV did not work for Sh!t. The owner’s response was, to make sure the firestick is plugged in. That wasn’t the problem. Internet speed was great, so it was likely the firestick is too old. The cleanliness was borderline OK. The one bathroom was tight, the pet fees are hidden and excessive, the hidden part may be a VRBO thing. Do not stay here if you have mobility problems because the stairs are steep. The living area is one flight up. The bedroom is two flights up. You will be going up and down steps a lot. The good, the owner's communication was great, and the location was close to all the action, but a little to the side of it. I actually like that. Would I stay here again? If I don’t bring my dogs, No. The only advantage of staying here is it allowed my dogs, but made me pay through the nose to do it. If I don’t bring my dogs I would stay at one of the nicer hotels close by. I was worried about parking before I arrived. Turned out to be a nonissue. Plenty of local on-street parking. Use the app. The four-hour free parking code can be used more than once on the same day. The town of Harrisburg is great.

I wanted to give it a bad review, so less people would book it, so I could in turn book it more!
So yeah, roundabout title aside, it can't be stated enough that the location is essentially perfect, it is near literally everything of note in Harrisburg. Strawberry Square is a 45 second stroll up the street, the forum as well as the museum is just a few minutes away on foot, also city island, the capital, and a handful of nice restaurants. The place itself was very clean, surprisingly quiet given the busy area, and despite looking modest from the outside is very spacious, I stayed by myself but it would easily accommodate more. Probably a good pick for couples, seems perfect for exactly two people, but again, there's enough space for more. Also, this one is on the more affordable end of the locations I've looked at. 10 outta 10.

Welcoming stay!
I enjoyed this stay! The host was very helpful and provided plenty of recommendations from coffee and breakfast, to dinner, to late night cocktails. Lots of useful information about the area in general as well. Very quiet neighborhood. Felt safe and secure! Relaxed, watched Netflix, took a walk around the neighborhood. Everything was great!

Burg BnB strives to offer upscale living in premium locations throughout Central PA. The aesthetics are inspired by my travels which have taken me to every state in the US and over 20 countries. I moved to Harrisburg from Seattle in January 2018 and sought to find a home that would allow me to continue living an urban lifestyle with easy access to nature. I fell in love with this quality in the Pacific Northwest and now seek to share it with the world through my rentals. My home is your home and I value the opportunity to help you fall in love with Harrisburg the same way I have. From the quaint coffee shops, Broad Street Market, award winning happy hours and the surprisingly strong food scene; Harrisburg has something for everyone!
