The house is in downtown Charleston with virtually everything within walking distance. The best restaurants and shops on King Street are just around the corner. It’s just a 3-minute drive to Market Street and the Historic District. There’s free secured parking for 1 vehicle.

Walking is easy from this location, as you are just a block away from King Street. However, bikes are the best way to enjoy Charleston and cruise the beautiful historic streets at your own pace! Another Charleston way to get around is to use a pedi-cab, this is a great way to get around and chat with locals who can tell you many interesting things about the city. UBERS are always available as well.

With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Nice get away for two
It was perfect for what we needed for our stay. The bed and pillows were very clean and comfortable. It was secluded and away from the road enough it was nice to sit outside on the patio furniture and relax.

Great Location, Very Kind Management
This property was perfect for our stay in Charleston. It was a central location that let us walk to everything, and had parking which was a must because we drove there. If you’re looking to cook and have more home cooked meals, the kitchen leave a bit to be desired. It’s a mini fridge and the oven was difficult to use. But it’s a very nice space and great location. Also management was very responsive throughout.

Excellent, but….
We had an excellent stay. The property is in good location just a 5 minute walk from King St. and in close proximity to lots of great restaurants. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished. We only had 3 relatively minor complaints. The photos of the rooftop deck in the VRBO listing of the apartment show lights and cushions on the outdoor furniture, but neither was anywhere to be found. The outdoor furniture was very uncomfortable without cushions. We understand that the outdoor elements do a lot of damage to outdoor fabrics , but nonetheless, if you’re going to show outdoor seating cushions in the property photos, the property should have them, even if you keep them stored in a outdoor deck box when not in use. Another complaint we have is that there was no hot water in the upstairs bedroom sink and the water pressure was very weak, but only for that one sink. Water pressure for all of the other sinks and shower/tub was fine. Lastly, the upstairs bathroom sink drain was completely clogged, so much so, that I was forced to take apart the plumbing pipes under the drain, and pull out what looked like a years worth of hair and disgusting gunk. It only took me 10 minutes and afterwards the sink drained perfectly.
