This lakefront suite, hosted by Alex and Jess, sat on a peaceful property, but only minutes to downtown Nelson. The view of the lake and surrounding mountains was also a special treat that never got old. The communication process was easy and effective, the unit was private and the home itself was very clean with nice amenities. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed and we highly recommend this spot for future travelers.

Fabulous spot! Loved the lake/mountain view, lovely gardens on the property, very peaceful setting. Was perfect for our weekend getaway - so close to Nelson for exploring, also easy drive to take the Kootenay Lake ferry. The suite is well appointed for cooking/dining in & the coffee & treats from the hosts were much appreciated and enjoyed! Thank you for sharing your slice of paradise with us

Our suite was as listed on line. Alex our host was very gracious. She introduced herself; let us know we were welcome to make use of their property: left us treats and just all around accommodating. The view of the lake was great and sitting down by the shore was very tranquil. The suite was very neat and clean. All things were included that you would need for your stay. The great quality bed linen was appreciated. I would book this place again when visiting Nelson. To be noted is that the property is on a fairly steep incline and could pose as a problem with people with mobility issues.

Great property for our short stay in Nelson. The host was very accommodating. The power went out for a few hours and they made sure we had a way to cook our dinner and provided us with a head lamp. Would definitely recommend.

Great place! On the lake but only a minute over the bridge. First morning we woke up to wild turkeys, Canadian geese, 2 bunnies, a small garter, and a very friendly dog on the property. Place was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed and would be beautiful in any season.

Beautiful spot on the lake. Excellent location for those that paddleboard canoe or kayak. Seniors may find the steep hill steps a bit of a challenge.

This property has beautiful views, close to town, was clean and comfortable and well stocked. The owners responded right away to any questions. We also appreciated an unscented environment! We would stay here again without question.

We had a wonderful stay at this property.Alex and Jessica are fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome.We were in Nelson visiting our son, his wife, and our granddaughter. We travel from Belgium regularly to spend time with them, and also have another son living in Singapore, so these family visits are especially meaningful to us.Our granddaughter especially loved playing with the children of the family. They had set up a small inflatable play castle, which she really enjoyed, and she also spent a lot of time on the swing.The property has rabbits, a cat, and a lovely dog, which added to the warm and friendly atmosphere.We also really enjoyed the beautiful wildlife in the area and the truly stunning views.The accommodation itself is lovely, very comfortable, and we felt at home right away.We would definitely love to return.

Beautiful property

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. Gorgeous views of the lake. It is a nice place to stay if you're visiting Nelson. The family was very sweet and kind too!. I would recommend staying here.

Awesome stay

I stayed here for a month while completing a nursing contract and the place was great! It had everything I needed and more, and the view was beautiful. Playing with the dog, cat and bunnies was an added bonus! Would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Cozy Hideaway

A lovely little spot nestled next to the lake. It was an easy commute into the beautiful town of Nelson. We enjoyed the view from the dock especially on New Year as the Northern Lights dazzled the sky.
