Château d'Asnière-en-Bessin is located in a lovely little village of just 75 inhabitants. It was built in 1693 and then altered in 1783. Located barely 3 km from the historic beaches of Omaha Beach, in the heart of the Norman bocage in a park surrounded by Douves, it is a perfect place to spend a weekend or a peaceful bucolic stay.

You will be warmly received by Sabine and Carl, the new owners and true lovers of the region.

Château in Normandy

The stay was perfect, I very much recommend the accomadation. Without our navigator, however, we would not have been able to find the location, ever - so, luckily… A better reading light and more plugs for charging the phones would have been nice. All in all: definitely 2 thumbs up! Thank you!

Gastvrije en behulpzame eigenaar. Goed ontbijt, ruime kamer met zeer ruime badkamer. Goed bed en vooral authentieke sfeer in gerenoveerd huis. Aanrader!

Fairytale!

From the moment you turn into the drive you are transported in time. Carl, our host was magnifique! Recommendations on how to maximize our adventure in our short time there were splendid. The room and grounds are lovely. Breakfast set us up for a great day of adventures!
