I came for the weekend to work on my dissertation. The accommodations were a perfectly quiet and strongly WI-FI connected atmosphere and if needed, I will come again!
This is a wonderful place to stay, with one qualification that prevents me from giving it 5 stars. That qualification is the water, which smelled and tasted of sulfur, even through the water filter spigot on the kitchen sink. I recommend having bottled water for drinking. Other than that, we very much enjoyed our stay. This place has a great location on the edge of town, with nice views west of farmland and the sunset. The house was quite comfortable and very well equipped.
We stayed here with our dog and cat and the property was just great. Very well kept, easy access, charming. Homemade cookies on arrival! The property is on a well traveled road so make note of this if you are traveling with pets. We have a splendid stay.
This is our second year in a row that we have rented this house. Wonderful house in a great location to explore the Snake River Wine Country! Highly recommend!
We loved the RedRock House. It was a perfect place to rest and regroup on our road trip. The house has everything you need and the owner makes sure you feel welcome! We will be back next year and spend some time in the area as we didn't have time for it this year! Thank you!
Frequent lodger here. As usual, this place is always top notch. Clean, neat, well appointed, convenient for what I need. Use a lot of these types of lodging during the year and this one is my favorite. Thanks.
Wow what a home!! Such a treat on our 2400 mile journey. Traveled into town for delicious Mexican food. Wonderful bed, comfortable furniture. Clean and delightful definitely will stay agaib
We went Hunting in Hells Canyon for the week. It was so nice to come back to a nice clean warm home! Lots of room, warm Atmosphere & nice Hot shower. Thanks so much for the delicious cookies!! Coffee shop next door was a Bonus!! We filled our thermos before our day long hunt with hot yummy coffee.
We fell in love with the Red Rock House. It didn't hurt that there were home-baked cookies on our arrival, or that the OC Coffeehouse is literally right next door (excellent pastries!). The house was spotless, expansive for two people, and we were very interested in the historical aspects , as well as the amazing amount of agriculture in the area. Very sure we'll stay there on our next excursion through Eastern Oregon/Western Idaho.
Clean comfortable house away from the big city. Large backyard for the dog to run around in (not fenced) for those pets that won’t run off. Wifi uses the coffee shop next door , would stay again. Though it would help if there were instructions on how to use the satellite tv there were other forms of entertainment available- movie cds and books. Host was very nice and would respond almost immediately to my questions through the VRBO app
We were so happy with the experience from the moment we arrived. The home is the perfect size and we were so happy our dogs are welcome.
The home had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and Thanksgiving dinner. All appliances worked perfectly.
What I thought was amazing is my son could stay up and watch TV from the living room, and even though the bedroom I chose shared a wall with the living room, I couldn’t hear the TV!
Both beds were comfortable and had plenty of room.
The shower was awesome! Great water pressure with glass blocks surrounding the door and cool tile.
We played lots of games at the dining room table. And there were plenty of books to chose from.
I had a work zoom call and the WiFi was spotty- probably because it was shared with Sue’s coffee shop and it’s customers next door, but I was able to use my phone as a hotspot so it wasn’t an issue.
Great place. Highly recommend. Next time I come, I’m gonna have to buy one of Sue’s hand made felt hats she sells in the coffee shop!
