Welcome to Heavenly View Cabin....a warm and spacious family oriented cabin situated on a mountain ridge in Pigeon Forge. This cabin is perfect for your family to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains and all the area has to offer. "Heavenly View" cabin is close to the attractions in Pigeon Forge but with the privacy needed to enjoy some rest and relaxation. Gatlinburg is only eleven miles away and Dollywood/Splash Country just a short, easy drive down the mountain. The hot tub is so inviting for those cool winter days, relaxing after a long hike. Gas fireplace is great to cozy up to and enjoy time with family and friends. Comfy porch gliders to enjoy the beautiful morning sunrise. Pack & Play bed and high chair are available for the little ones. Life is good in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Mountain Vacation with Family.

We all truly enjoyed our stay at Heavenly View cabin. Everything was in order, clean, and very well appointed. The decor was just perfect for this lovely mountain setting. The beds were comfortable and that’s so important when you have long days of sightseeing. Sharon and Wendall are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend them if you want a wonderful place to stay and especially if you love cleanliness in a home, I wish them every success in the future in their endeavors with this beautiful vacation home, Heavenly View. Great place to stay

Had a great stay here with a friend and our young daughters. Convenient to the national park and Sugarland visitor center, and even closer to Dollywood. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit the area!

Great location with great views

We loved the cabin and how close it was to all the stuff we wanted to do. The owners are great and very attentive to any needs. The pool table and hot tub were a great hit with the kids.

Fall getaway

The property was exactly as represented. The view was beautiful and just what we needed and expected. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We will definitely rebook with Wendell and Sharon if we are in the area again. Dollywood was great. The weather was perfect. Our fall getaway was just what we all needed.

Wonderful cabin

The cabin was so cozy and the perfect set up for our family of 4. Two bedrooms up and one down. We love the pool table and the beds are so comfortable. I slept so good! The Mountain View is beautiful, close to amenities. We will be back!

Quick Getaway

Exactly as described. I picked this property mostly because of the great reviews and the view and it did not disappoint! A perfect place to spend our time in the mountains. The view is indeed “heavenly”! The pool table and hot tub were great to have as well! Plenty of space for everyone and close to town! Would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely property in a great location with amazing views!

The cabin was comfortable and clean and the views from the wrap around deck were gorgeous. The three private bedrooms all had comfortable beds and the kitchen was well stocked with all the basic equipment. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub as well as the fireplace during one chilly night. The owners were responsive and accommodating. We would happily visit again.

Great Christmas Trip

We stayed the week before Christmas. The cabin was decorated for Christmas with 2 trees and lots of festive decor. The site is perfect for a TN getaway. You are close enough to go to Pigeon Forge and see the sights, but far enough away that you don’t even know there are neighbors. The view is great from the large deck. The hosts are fantastic and shared trip hints during our pre checkin call. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful place with wonderful owners.

We visited the Heavenly View cabin for Christmas. The owners had the cabin decorated with a Christmas tree which thrilled my kids. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the appliances all worked. The hot tub sits on the deck, of which overlooks the beautiful Smokey Mountains. The location was also spectacular! We interacted with the owners a few times for various reasons (questions prior to our trip, when we arrived, and when we were leaving), they were wonderful! Very nice people. We would absolutely recommend this cabin for the view and pleasantness of the owners.

Greatest Place Ever!!

This was a great cabin--everything that was advertised. I was contacted a week before we arrived and was sent a list of places to eat & visit--it really helped since this was my first time to be in Tennessee. The cabin was in the hills but close to town. Check in was a breeze! Very good directions from the Knoxville airport. The beds & accommodations were good, air conditioner good, beautiful scenery! My granddaughters had a great time! Enjoyed the games that were in the cabin & the pool table. NOTHING to complain about!! I hope to return one day. I encourage you to check this cabin out for yourselves!!

Amazing location, home and renters!

Everything about Heavenly View is well…heavenly! Wendell and Sharon were extremely communicative and gracious hosts. They make it clear they are available for support without being overbearing. My family of 4 stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. You couldn’t ask for a better location. It is near the thick of it without being IN the thick of it. You feel secluded and it’s very quiet. Minutes to any attraction you’d want to see. The cabin is comfortable, clean and feels homey. The living room was a great place for us to fellowship while the rooms provided nice privacy. The hot tub and pool table were incredible additions that we used each evening. The Roku TVs (in every room) had a million channels. The deck overlooks Mt. LeConte and is perfect for sunrises and sunsets. We ate breakfast outside every morning. This cabin has one of the best views in this neighborhood. It has every amenity you could need cook, wash clothes and enjoy your stay. A few things to keep in mind (there where no negatives, just sharing): you will need to bring shower supplies like soap/shampoo. The driveway is short but steep. You will not need a special vehicle by any means, but be mindful of your bumpers going in and out. The first step of the stairs is kinda dark and prone to catch your foot when leaving the living room. I can’t say enough positive things about this location or the hosts. Hope to be back. Thank you for a great vacation.

Sharon and I have been married 42+years. We are blessed with three wonderful daughters who are now beginning to raise families of their own. I have been coming to the mountains all of my life. Many, many wonderful memories and so many stories I could tell. It is a special place and somewhere I would possibly love to live. Sharon made her first visit to the mountains on our honeymoon and has been returning two or three times a year ever since. I still become as excited as a little kid every time we plan a trip. I'm not saying I'm getting old or anything like that, I just remember Dollywood first being the Rebel Railroad, then Gold Rush Junction and also Silver Dollar City. I also remember the parkway having only two lanes and a few hometown restaurants. There were maybe a putt-putt or two and the unforgettable old Hillbilly store. However, I mostly remember all the fun times, being with family and friends, hiking the trails, soaking in the great outdoors and sharing what I love with the ones I love. I sincerely hope you will also experience GOD's blessings of peace and love as well when you visit. Come see the Smoky Mountains and make some great memories to last a lifetime.

In 2018, Mr. & Mrs. Ohlsen decided to pass the care of the lovely place to Sharon and I.
