The Silverlake area is a great place to spend a week or a weekend. We are located at the gateway to Mount St. Helens - about an hour's drive from Portland, Oregon and Olympia, Washington, and just just a few miles off of Interstate Five.

This area is the perfect start from which to explore the many different areas of Mount St. Helens with trails and visitor centers or to fish for Bass on Silverlake.

Come prepared to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.

My fiancee and I absolutely loved staying here. It's such a cozy cabin in a gorgeous area. The hosts were a pleasure to communicate with, very friendly, helpful, and responsible. The cabin was clean and decorated when we arrived and the check in process was very straightforward and simple. I would definitely recommend as well as book with Dan and Kat again in the future!

Cabin was clean, cozy and had all the amenities we needed. Lots of firewood, and we made a lovely fire the second night. Check in and check out were very easy. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was the perfect place to stay for exploring Mount Saint Helens. Dan came by to check-in and make sure that we had everything that we needed. He also let us know about some nearby options that were included with our stay. The bear theme throughout the cabin is awesome. If we came back to this area, this would be our number one place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this super comfortable and quiet cabin. Sitting on the porch and enjoying our coffee in the morning was our favorite part. There was everything we needed and we slept so well in the comfortable bed in the main room. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin. All utensils served great, cabin was clean and cozy. Stayed in late March and it was perfect for a fire at night and the cabin stayed warm. Canoe was great on Silver Lake. Location was perfect to plan to hike St. Helen’s and Mt. Rainier.

This cabin is 80 years old according to the owner. It’s got a nice cabin feel to it.There is a Queen size bed in the living room which fine, this is where we sat to watch TV. The kitchen is ok. The pans and cooking utensils were old and not useable. We went and got some newer ones and left them. There are some spices left behind that were useful. The bathroom was small but had what was needed. Overall nice place.

The cabin is adorable and semi private. Not much traffic on the road, so pretty quiet. It had a well stocked kitchen & bathroom. I slept in the main room by the fire. A very comfortable bed!

Small, simple accommodations. Perfect if you are looking for a simple place to stay. Close to town and also Mt. St Helens activities. We were able to go to both North and South Park areas with a little driving. We would book again.

Why they chose this property

Dan was raised in this area. He moved back to this area early on and he and his previous wife raised their children here. Dan has very much enjoyed catering to guests and has met and made many good friends from all over the world including the Queen of Englands Page and lady in waiting.

What makes this property unique

The amazing views of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier over Silverlake are breathtaking. It is common to see deer, and rabbits along with other species feeding on the ever so fertile ground. The peace and serenity that surrounds you will surely make your stay a memorable one.
