North shore Maui ocean view B and B is a vacation rental with three bedrooms for rent individually on Maui's north shore. Each room has a private bathroom, ac, tv, and Wifi. Room 3 is the only room on the top floor of the house. The rest of the house, the entrance, fully equipped kitchen, living room and spacious ocean view lanai are all shared spaces with the other guests and the owners. Located near the road to Hana we are ideally situated for exploring this side of Maui. We are on agricultural land and grow bananas and citrus. For breakfast we provide bagels, eggs, yogurt, waffles, oatmeal, banana, coffee and tea. Breakfast is self serve do it yourself and is available anytime. We live on the property and are available at all times for questions and assistance. We are available for one night minimum stays.

We work hard to keep insects and geckos at bay but they do occasionally find a way inside.

The property had everything we needed for our stay in the area. The shared kitchen and common area allowed us to meet other travelers. The only drawback we experienced with Rm 3 was the A/C could not keep up due to the high ambient temps.

Amazing BnB directly on the Road to Hana

If you're looking for a place literally on the Road to Hana, this was perfect. Beautiful property and view (can see water, feels tropical), great shared spaces but also felt incredibly private. Amazing shower in our room. Adequate breakfast. Would stay again if looking in this area

We just had a great time staying at Howard's place in Haiku WA. Well maintained, clean, and homey, upscale home. View of water is nice. I did not find this too far from everything we wanted to see and do including snorkeling on the south side of the island. We stayed a week and loved the place. We stayed in room 3 which was very nice. Thank you, Howard!

Peace and serenity

We frequent Maui. We visit 2-3 times per year. We own our own rental condo in Kihei. This was a lovely, clean, private, and peaceful retreat at the beginnning of the road to Hana. We had an extra day, so took the opportunity to stay somewhere new. The property is beautiful-full of palms and fruit trees. Cute common areas with some ocean views off the balconies. I would highly recommend this B&B

Gem away from tourist traps

Lovely places, huge usable rooms. Was not clear common area would be shared with 2 other rooms, 1 who arrived very late and woke us up, another who left for sunrise and woke us up. Noise inside the house carries, foot falls sound very loud at 5am. The hosts have otherwise thought of everything, i mean everything. Beautifully layed out with everything you need, including 8 or so self-serve options for breakfast. A couple of lizards are living in the house, but they eat bugs, so it is totally fine! Wouldn't say the common area was clean, but the sleeping private area certainly was. Would happily stay again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the Hana Highway.

We loved the quiet and clean location. The property is nicely tucked away with a lovely garden and great view. Close to beaches and waterfalls. Our favourite was looking at the stars at night. Lots of bugs and geckos in and out of the building. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.

The property and space are beautiful. We felt like we were in a tree house surrounded by palm trees. It felt private even though the kitchen area is a shared space. We liked the help yourself concept to the kitchen. We enjoyed our private balcony as well as the common balcony. Wish we had more time to explore this side of Maui.

Great location for the road to Hāna!

Room was clean, shower was great, and location for heading down the rows to Hāna can’t be beat! We appreciated the complimentary breakfast options. We didn’t get to see the property in the daylight since we arrived and left in the dark but it was a great place to stay to get a head start on Hāna vs all the way on the west side of the island.
