About this property

Gîte on the heights between Muhlbach-Sur-Munster and Gaschney ***

Have a pleasant stay in the countryside, 830m above sea level, in this former summer farm of 120m² converted into a comfortable cottage with authentic and rustic decor. Ideally located for hiking and mountain biking, and close to the ski resorts of Gaschney and Schnepfenried, it offers a beautiful view of the ridges and the Petit Ballon. It is located 15 minutes from Munster which offers a wide range of activities (nautical area, museums, shops, ...) You can taste the marcaria meals at the nearby farmhouses and visit the villages of the wine route.
2 terraces allow you to have lunch outside, in the sun or under a roof. The meadow of more than one hectare is crossed by a small stream. The "little house" next door serves as a shed: no visible on the neighboring cottage which is 70 meters.
At your disposal: all the necessary equipment to cook small dishes like at home, tourist documentation, books, a CD library ...
Note: access to the cottage is via a forest road 300 m from the road, which is not cleared in case of snow.

A wunderful stay in Vosges!

The house was very cosy, clean and very well located. We enjoyed the garden, the beautiful view and the opportunities to make wunderful walking trips in the area. A lot of mountain houses are near the house and we enjoyed to have a short break in those mountain houses during our walking tours. Our daughter enjoyed her biketours and did a lot of wunderful climbs (grand ballon, petit ballon etc). What I really appreciated was the warm welcome and the flexibility of David and his wife. We arrived quite late at saterday evening. Thanks a lot for the good introduction of house and the ability to stay here! We would like to stay again at thus wunderful location!

Entspannen mitten in der Natur

Wir haben eine absolut wundervolle Woche in dem schönen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus verbracht. Wer Natur mag, kommt hier auf seine Kosten und es gibt viele tolle Wanderwege in der Nähe. Die Zufahrt ist etwas unwegsam und mit einem tiefergelegten Auto wahrscheinlich nicht zu empfehlen. Aber dafür genießt man Stille und Abgeschiedenheit und einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Wir waren jedenfalls zu 100 Prozent zufrieden. Vielen Dank an die super netten Gastgeber!

Un séjour très agréable dans les Vosges alsaciennes

Avec un excellent accueil d'Olga, nous avons pris possession de ce chalet situé dans un environnement très agréable : au calme et avec un très jolie vue. L'équipement est complet et la décoration avec ses multiples bibelots est charmante. Le repos est assuré, mais aussi pour ceux qui le désirent, de nombreuses randonnées à partir du chalet ou à proximité sont à faire. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour ce séjour.

Voor wie houdt van rust en wandelen

Heerlijk rustig gelegen woning, te bereiken via een redelijk avontuurlijk bospad. Via een smal steil paadje bereik je te voet een bovengelegen pad van waaruit je direct meerdere wandelingen kan starten. Prachtig uitzicht, enkel geluid van ruisende bladeren en koeienbellen te horen. In de omgeving prachtige wandelingen te maken, oneindig veel mogelijkheden. Via de app Komoot krijg je alle paden/wandelingen in de omgeving te zien, enorm praktisch om op die manier reeds geselecteerde wandelingen te volgen of gewoon je eigen route uit te stippelen. Aanrader!

Une petite pépite dans les Vosges Alsaciennes

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet ancien chalet d’estive réaménagé avec soin par le propriétaire et sa famille. Sans être éloignés de la route et des autres habitations on se sent bien immergé dans la nature et au calme. Départ de ballade du chalet sans avoir à prendre la voiture avec le sommet du Hohneck pas loin et ses chamois à contempler. Le chalet malgré sa taille pas très grande est confortable, très bien agencé et décoré de multiples objets chinés, témoins d'une époque passée. C'est passionnant. Chalet parfait pour les amoureux de la nature, de l'Alsace et des Vosges. Très bon contact avec les propriétaires très charmants.

Erholung pur

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Chalet sehr genossen. Abseits vom jeglichem Trubel liegt das Haus in direkter Nähe zu den Wanderwegen. Wir konnten mit unserem Hund stundenlang die Gegend erkunden. Ruhe und Erholung fanden wir dann vor dem Kamin, mit einem guten Buch (in Französisch und Deutsch alles vorhanden), bei schöner Musik und auch mal einem Fernsehabend (viele deutsche Programme). Gekocht wurde in einer perfekt ausgestatteten Küche. Geschlafen haben wir in bequemen Betten mit guten Matratzen. Wir können dieses Chalet nur empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Le châlet parfait pour se reposer

Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil, et félicitations pour leur châlet qui garantit le dépaysement dans un excellent confort. La neige était au rdv à notre arrivée, ce nous a permis de faire de superbes ballades sans prendre la voiture et à nos enfants de skier à moins de 15 minutes. Encore merci.
