The holiday apartment is the ideal place to relax for a while. The rural character and swimming pond certainly contribute to this. The entire upper floor is available and offers ample space for four people. The holiday home, in loft concept, consists of two sleeping areas, a TV corner, a dining room and a kitchenette. One bedroom consists of a separate lockable room with two separate beds and TV. In addition to a basic set of kitchen utensils, the kitchen also includes a fridge, freezer and micro-wave oven. Linen packages for the bedrooms, the bathroom and the kitchen are provided. Both the spacious garden, the swimming pond and the terrace are at the guests' disposal and are shared with the owners. A bbq is made available.
During the months of July and August, a stay starts and ends only on Monday.
The non-smoking apartment is suitable for 4 people and a baby. Pets are not allowed.

Idyllic rural retreat!

We very much enjoyed staying at this terrific property. It was close to Brugge for daytime activities and a quiet retreat to relax at. The pool complete with Koi was delightfully refreshing. Many thanks to Bart and family.

We will be happy to come back

5 stars for the location, apartment and the great hosts! Especially the large natural garden with swimming pool, generous sun and shade places in the immediate vicinity with friendly cows was a wonderful place for us to relax and feel good. The photos correspond to the actual conditions. We also found it great that the location is a good starting point for many worth seeing excursions (Belgian coast, Bruges and Ghent). We will be happy to come back!

A lovely place

Very peaceful and rural area, but it's possible to walk and/or walk and get the bus into Bruges or Ghent etc. has a few lovely days via the train to Oostende in the sunshine. Lovely house, lovely host, even fresh eggs from the hens and local beers as a welcome gift. Only downside was on the very hottest days of the heatwave it was super hot upstairs even with a fan, a portable AC unit could be beneficial in future summers. Altogether though I would happily return!

Hübsche Wohnung, toller Garten, nette Vermieter. Sehr hilfsbereit als ich Zuhause bemerkte dass ich dort einen Ring verloren hatte. Küchenausstattung zum Kochen nicht unbedingt optimal und es dürfte alles ein bisschen sauberer sein. Wir haben uns aber wohl gefühlt.

Too much

Door omstandigheden kon de eigenaar niet zelf bij CI zijn. Niet erg, echter we konden daardoor niet erg op tijd de accommodatie in De accommodatie (boven appartement) was ruim, maar enorm volgepakt. Stoffen stoelen op slaapkamers, teddyberen op stoelen,losse matten en tapijtstukken voor het bed en in de keuken ,een los extra bed opgeklapt naast het twee persoons bed, kleden op de banken, Afrikaanse maskers, poppen en djembees. Daar moet je echt wel van houden anders wel in your face. Verder is er enorm veel aan keuken materiaal maar overal door het hele keukendeel. Wat het mijns inziens behoolijk chaotisch en rommelig maakt. Ook veel bij elkaar door het hele huis, geen eenheid. Op vakantie in een huisje vind ik schoon, knus en huiselijkheid juist belangrijk dat had ik helaas niet. Veel last gehad van muggen. Het was niet schoon, veel spinnenwebben, stofnesten achter en onder kieren, hoeken en bedden.Handdoeken waren er voldoende en schoon,beddengoed ook. De gastvrijheid was okay. Eigenaar was zelf 2 dagen weg. Wij hoorden de voordeur beneden open gaan beneden en iemand binnen komen in de hal, dit bleek buurvrouw die de katten verzorgde. Dat wisten wij niet. Wat ook heel fijn zou zijn is wanneer er fietsen op locatie kunnen staan die he kan huren.Wanneer je eilt huren moet je naar Brugge.

An und für sich schöne Wohnung

Wir fanden die Wohnung eigentlich ganz nett. Es ist halt etwas eng dort unter dem Dach und es gibt kein Waschbecken im WC, dazu muss man ins Bad laufen, einmal quer durchs Wohnzimmer. Der Empfang durch die Vermieter war nicht besonders herzlich. Man wurde mehrfach ermahnt bitte nichts kaputt zu machen. Die Familie lebt im selben Haus und man fühlte sich wie ein störendes Element. Man grüßte nur sehr zurückhaltend und schien einer Konversation ablehnend gegenüber zu stehen. Aber Belgien ist super schön und Beernem ist gut gelegen, um viele Ausflüge zu unternehmen.

Nous avons passé 6 nuits dans cet appartement situé au 1er étage de cette longère ( une famille 2 adultes et 2 enfants). L'appartement est très spacieux, décoré avec goût, cuisine bien équipée ( frigo, micro ondes, congélateur, tout est fourni au niveau café, thé , condiments, sac poubelle, linge de maison ( serviettes, draps, torchons). Une chambre est fermée et séparée avec des lits jumeaux et une autre chambre ouverte sur le couloir avec grand lit. Salle de bains avec douche et lavabo, coin salon avec tv, et grande cuisine salle à manger. Tout vient d'être refait et c'est très propre. Possibilité l'été d'utiliser une belle piscine naturelle et jardin. Les propriétaires sont charmants et très gentils, un accueil très chaleureux, apéritif avec eux en milieu de séjour pour mieux se connaître. Idéalement situé à 10 mn de Brugges, 25mn de Gand et 50 mn d'Anvers et de Bruxelles et 20mn de la côté belge. La maison est à la campagne, on voit les champs de la fenêtre de la cuisine! Bref nous avons beaucoup aimé et nous recommandons cette adresse!

Great little getaway

Great apartment close to Bruges and Gent. Lovely helpful hosts made us feel very welcome. The apartment is a warm comfy space, perfect for our family of five (our hosts put an extra bed in the twin room for us).
