Our beautiful rural farmhouse has been reformed and offers you a wonderful break in one of the most peaceful and unique areas in Andalucia next to the lake “Embalse de Guadalhorce” only 45 mins. from Málaga airport. Here you can enjoy the silence or challenge your body in the amazing surroundings. A true paradise for people who enjoy active life.



El Arpa offers holiday apartments for 2 persons in a green area on a 50.000 sqm plot going down to the lake. Here you can enjoy life no matter if you choose to relax in the beautiful surroundings under the southern sun enjoying the peace - or if you prefer to use one of the many activity options that nature offers you and which is just outside the doors of the holiday apartments.

We had an amazing stay at El Arpa! It is a beautiful location and it was a privilege to wake here each day. The room is comfortable and designed to a high standard. The facilities are as described and allow for cooking and storage of meals. Would highly recommend a stay here, whether you’re looking to relax and get away from busy cities or looking to Explore the amazing area of El Chorro.

Alles sehr auffällig sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Die Gastgeber haben sich sehr bemüht und haben immer nachgefragt, ob man noch was braucht. Schöne Finca zum erholen aber sehr abseits in der Natur gelegen.

Gorgeous property to get away from it all

We loved our stay at El Arpa. Enjoyed sitting outside every evening and watching the sunset over the reservoir. Gorgeous property with easy access to El Caminito del Rey.

prachtige locatie

Wij hebben een fantastische week doorgebracht op El Arpa. Wat een prachtige omgeving. Je kan hier heerlijk wandelen( ook voor de niet gevorderde wandelaars). In de omgeving zijn veel activiteiten te doen en mooie steden als Sevilla, Granada en Ronda zijn vanuit hier makkelijk te bereiken. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. 1 minpuntje van onze studio, bij slecht weer (regen) is er geen ruimte om binnen te zitten behalve op het bed of aan de eetbar. Prima keuken, badkamer en bed.

L'endroit idéal pour sillonner la région

Cet endroit est un vrai ravissement, en pleine nature ; et pour rayonner en Andalousie, c'est parfait. Les propriétaires sont charmants, l'accueil est parfait, ne changez rien (la date de notre arrivée était en fait en 2012 mais çà ne marche pas le tableau)

excellent séjour dépaysant

Nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour nous rendre à EL ARPA les propriètaires du lieu ont un site très clair Lorsque nous sommes arrivés nous avons découvert un paysage très agréable les appartements très bien entretenus font face à un lac . Le but de notre voyages était de visiter le pratrimoine de la région mais le soir nous étions heureux de nous retrouver au calme . Nous avons recommandé ce lieu de villiègature à un couple d'amis qui en sont revenus enchantés

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le lieu, le calme, l'environnement la proximité du lac. Le gîte est très propre et coquet. Les hôtes sont très aimables et conviviaux. Nous reviendrons dès que possible car tout nous a plu. Annick et Denis (Bretagne)

El Arpa is an old Spanish farmhouse on a 50.000 square meter plot with direct access to a beautiful lake - the shore is just 50 meters from our land and 100 meters from the apartments.

We have had it restored for you to enjoy your next holiday in peaceful surroundings.


In our garden you find cosy places with sunchairs and benches to relax and enjoy the weather, whether you choose to be amoung the other guests or on your own, there is plenty of room for everyone.


When the sun is shining and you need to cool down the tempting lake is just a short walk away with its fresh and clean water to swim in.


The garden has lots of wild nature and typical Spanish vegetations suchs as olive trees, pines and almonds which will be in blossom from January to March with the most beautiful white and pink flowers.


Beds of wild flowers and vigorous plants covers the whole plot.
