Hello, we are pleased to hear you had a good stay at Bear Country and got everything you wanted to out of your stay. We have a repeat customer discount available for the next time you want to book a getaway stay with us and thank you for your time.
This is a gorgeous property with a great layout that gives guests privacy yet it is easy to talk to people upstairs from the downstairs. It's easy to see where everyone is if you have kids. I loved that it was so open. The property is easy to find and has easy access to the main road when you are ready to go into town. I loved that my parents could easily get into the house without having the worry of stairs. They had a master bed and bath on the first floor. Everything was easily accessible to them. We even found a great fishing spot (Carson's Cove) that was flat and easy fishing for them off the bank. The house was super clean when we arrived. The deck was beautiful and so big! We did not end up bringing our dog, but the deck area is a great area for large dogs to stay on b/c it is closed in with a locked gate and has plenty of covered space for shade. We would love to return in the fall. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Absolutely stunning views from the cozy and beautiful retreat. Perfectly furnished with everything one could wish for and more. Hot tub was luxurious after hiking. Best place to stay. Loved it and didnāt want to leave!
We stayed in a different cabin due to a maintenance issue so canāt fully rate this one. However the communication from the host was excellent and she recommended a newer cabin for us and we had a wonderful stay!
We loved our stay at Bear Country! The house was perfect for our family. We loved the deck and outdoor living areas. Everything was very clean and nice.
This property was in a perfect location! The home was clean and had everything we needed. Our grandkids loved the upstairs loft and of course eating sāmores by the campfire.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! Loved the woods around the cabin and how it made it feel secluded. We loved watching the mom and baby deer eating off the deck. The rooms were nice with very comfortable beds! The kitchen was well stocked for preparing our meals which we appreciated.
Everything as advertised. Really enjoyed the cabin. Having seasoned wood split to use to build a fire outside was great. Highly recommend Bear Country!!
The listing says there are two bathtubs but thereās only one. The couches could be a little more comfortable but that definitely wasnāt a deal breaker. The cabin overall is great!! Super clean and cozy! We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts are super responsive and quick to address issues!! We will be back!!
