The perfect place!

Kokomo is an amazingly beautiful property! It is perfect for 2-4 guests. The woodwork and decor are beautiful. Awesome kitchen. It was hot and humid during our stay. Bedroom ac units cut the stickiness perfectly. You can hear the waves ata night from the master bedroom. Lovely quiet neighborhood close to West Bay, Abe even closer to West End. We loved the dock area. This place had everything we needed. Leo, the property manager, was great! He met us at the airport. We followed him to the grocery store to pick up a few essentials. He waited patiently for us, then took us to the property. He helped with our check out and even gave me a nice hand made hat that I complimented him on on our arrival date. He went above and beyond! I highly recommend this property. We will definitely return. Roatan was very safe and the people there are so friendly and kind. Great restaurants with reasonable prices. Thank you Ken and Christine!

We can’t wait to stay here again. On the water, great snorkeling, local management that’s very helpful. I want to be back there as I type this.

Great view!

This property was had a beautiful view, right on the water. Very close to all restaurants, but you would need a car or taxi to get to all the great places in West End or West Bay. Although this cottage has two bedrooms and two bathrooms which would be great for families, it does not have a good dining or eating area to accommodate family meals. There is a large island with some stools that can fit 3 people one one side and there is a small bar style table which has 2 stools. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place to be quarantined!

Amazing location and scenery. Property manager Leo is a complete GEM!!! We stayed in Roatan during the govt lockdown from the Covid pandemic. Leo made sure we were well cared for and answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond from finding me a charging cord for my phone to getting a SIM card for my husbands phone. This was crucial to us as we needed constant contact with the airlines and updates from the Roatan governor. Overall the house was awesome and having a car at our disposal was even more awesome!

After traveling throughout the Caribbean Islands over the years, we were lucky enough to stumble upon this little island oasis in Roatan. We live permanently in Charleston SC and have a "surf shack" cottage there that we rent as well. Our dream is to eventually spend more and more time here and it is getting more and more difficult leaving this little piece of heaven. We are sure that anyone that visits will agree! Our goal is to provide our guests with a safe and comfortable experience, full of lasting memories. So take a deep breath, smell the ocean fresh air, relax and enjoy!

Why they chose this property

Located at the opening of Gibson Bight (Bay) and the Caribbean Sea. Spectacular views including sunrises and sunsets can be seen from almost everywhere in the home and especially from the expansive deck. Jump in the ocean from our new palapa/dock and swim and snorkel the beautiful reef just a few hundred yards away (you will need to wear water shoes or booties to protect your feet from the coral). Enjoy watching the fishing and dive boats passing the property on their way to and from West End or any of the hundreds of dive locations close by. West Bay, only a short 10 minute drive, offers a world class beach with plenty of bars and restaurants right on the beach. West End is only 5 minutes away and is the premier waterfront town offering many bars and restaurants as well as full service diving and fishing outfits.

What makes this property unique

The West End of this island is where everything takes place and is the reason we decided to build here. Almost all diving companies are located a short 5 minutes from the property and all are full service. If scuba isn't your thing, our friends will take you on an easy and memorable snorkel excursion! The quaint shops and waterfront bars and restaurants are also in West End. Beautiful and famous West Bay offers visitors the best beach on the island! A short ten minute drive or a quick water taxi from West End brings you to this world class beach which you will not want to leave! There is horseback riding, zip-lining, golf, buggy tours and jungle tours all very close to the property to make your trip as adventurous or as relaxed as you wish!
