Gorgeous oceanfront home with breathtaking views on safe & secluded peninsula
Newer ocean front home on a quiet and safe peninsula just a couple of miles from the dive mecca of West End or the world famous West Bay beaches! Swim/snorkel right off the property from our dock and palapa! Two kayaks for kayaking the reef and mangroves are here for your use. Watch the dive boats, tour boats and sailboats cruise right by our dock and out to the reef just a few hundred yards away. Breathtaking, panoramic views including sunrises, sunsets and moonrises are included! The elevated living quarters almost always provides a tropical breeze that assures comfort and a unique vacation experience! Airport transportation is available for $20 each way by our property manager. Local friends can take you fishing, diving/snorkeling and/or on an exclusive island tour. You will not be disappointed!

After traveling throughout the Caribbean Islands over the years, we were lucky enough to stumble upon this little island oasis in Roatan. We live permanently in Charleston SC and have a "surf shack" cottage there that we rent as well. Our dream is to eventually spend more and more time here and it is getting more and more difficult leaving this little piece of heaven. We are sure that anyone that visits will agree! Our goal is to provide our guests with a safe and comfortable experience, full of lasting memories. So take a deep breath, smell the ocean fresh air, relax and enjoy!
Why they chose this property
Located at the opening of Gibson Bight (Bay) and the Caribbean Sea. Spectacular views including sunrises and sunsets can be seen from almost everywhere in the home and especially from the expansive deck. Jump in the ocean from our new palapa/dock and swim and snorkel the beautiful reef just a few hundred yards away (you will need to wear water shoes or booties to protect your feet from the coral). Enjoy watching the fishing and dive boats passing the property on their way to and from West End or any of the hundreds of dive locations close by. West Bay, only a short 10 minute drive, offers a world class beach with plenty of bars and restaurants right on the beach. West End is only 5 minutes away and is the premier waterfront town offering many bars and restaurants as well as full service diving and fishing outfits.
What makes this property unique
The West End of this island is where everything takes place and is the reason we decided to build here. Almost all diving companies are located a short 5 minutes from the property and all are full service. If scuba isn't your thing, our friends will take you on an easy and memorable snorkel excursion! The quaint shops and waterfront bars and restaurants are also in West End. Beautiful and famous West Bay offers visitors the best beach on the island! A short ten minute drive or a quick water taxi from West End brings you to this world class beach which you will not want to leave! There is horseback riding, zip-lining, golf, buggy tours and jungle tours all very close to the property to make your trip as adventurous or as relaxed as you wish!
