"Rest Ashored" is well suited for families of all sizes with its large and open fully equipped kitchen with upgraded appliances. PET FRIENDLY WITH STIPULATIONS
We welcome well trained non-shedding dogs to stay in this home. We require that your dog be completely potty trained and prefer dogs older than 2 years old. Crate Trained pups are preferred to deter mischievous behavior while you and your party are enjoying the beach. It is understood that while we do allow dogs with the mentioned stipulations any damages that occur during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file with the minimum fee being $350.00.

INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Totally Deceiving

The pictures of the location is very deceiving! It’s not accessible to the beach @ all! There is no beach access on the premises! You must drive half mile or more, depending on which area you want to stay in. Our condo was not clean. There was dog food under the sofa. The smaller bathroom was not clean. The tub had not been cleaned after prior usage! UGH! In the kitchen, the skillet has been put away with scrambled egg gunk still in the pan. SERIOUSLY!! The salad plates had a greasy residue on them!!! There were 4 bicycles provided, but only 2 were of use. I was so distraught! So much money, to stay, so far away, and in such deplorable conditions!!! Shame on someone!… Panhandle Getaway

Perfect 👍

Our stay was perfect, no issues what so ever, kitchen had everything you need including all sorts of spices. All 4 bikes worked as expected, garage was a plus too for the golf cart which we rented. Can’t complain about anything really, just extra blankets for the sofa bed would have been nice. Looking forward to coming back to this property.

Wonderful vacation!!

The property was great! We enjoyed the area very much, with little ones the Hub across the street was wonderful to visit and grab a quick bite to eat. The pool and surrounding homes were very clean and neat. I would recommend a golf cart as the rental did not come with one - we used the golf cart daily and the littles loved it - the golf cart was very handy for beach access. We also took our dog and we're so thankful he was able to tag along with us. He enjoyed the Hub and taking walks along the beachy streets - he was not allowed on the beach as we were unaware that we needed a dog permit from the county. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and enjoyed every minute of it. The local restaurants were delicious and the beach was gorgeous - such a peaceful and clean place to stay with family. Panhandle Getaways was so easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had. Adam was so helpful when we rented our golf cart via 30A gulf cart rentals. For families with littles, would highly recommend the area - we had a blast!!

Love 30A Area

For the most part we enjoyed our stay again this year. The pool and The Hub enjoyed and very convenient and clean. Minor things in the condo we noticed was some of the blinds were broke, marks on the walls where paint is chipping off, rug in the living room should be replaced along with couch and chair look to be stained in spots and the pillows on the couch are past their prime, the garage was dirty and the bikes had mud on them. Again just some minor observations based on the $ amount we paid. We love the kitchen, dining area the bathrooms and master bed was perfect. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Nice property, but not close to the beach

This condo was nice and well appointed, but there is no convenient beach access. You either need to drive (and hope you find a parking spot), bike or walk over 2 miles to the closest public beach access. The condo claims to come with bikes provided, but the two that were in the garage were locked up and no access code was provided, so we had to rent bikes. There is a state park with beach access about a mile away, but it is currently under construction and closed. Bottom line - nice condo, but we will stay somewhere with better beach access next time.
