Check out this well-maintained, beautiful beach cottage in The Magnolia Cottages by the Sea. 'Magnolia Mermaid' exemplifies elegance and is sure to be the perfect vacation destination for you and your family INCLUDING YOUR PUP. Conveniently located between Watersound and Alys beach along Scenic Highway 30A, there is plenty to do in the area surrounding this home.

'Magnolia Mermaid' has a new, state of the art refrigerator and oven. The kitchen has gorgeous marble countertops, beautiful hardwood floors, unique furniture and other features to make your stay as memorable and enjoyable as possible. Stainless steel appliances and white cabinets make the kitchen feel inviting, especially when coupled with the elegant lighting fixtures. The custom dining room table is large and with additional seating at the counter, the kitchen is sure to be a great place to enjoy eating with family and friends!

The home features three full baths with tiled floors (NEWLY RENOVATED) There is a room with 2 full beds. The beautifully decorated master suite hosts a king size bed with brand new, luxury marble-tiled, ensuite bathroom complete with a walk-in shower. The other suite features a queen size bed w/ ensuite bathroom- with new tub and tile. Third bedroom has 2 full size beds with private access to the screened in back porch. The third bath is completely renovated with a beautifully-tiled walk-in shower right off the kitchen. All three bedrooms, the outside patio and living room have TVs for your viewing pleasure.

Relax on the large private screened back porch with tv! There is a porch swing, lounge chairs, a love seat and a gas grill, making it the perfect place to kick back on a beautiful afternoon. The home is less than a 2 min. walk to the community pool and is a 2 min. walk to the beach access across 30A.

Everything about this place is awesome! About a 5 minute or less walk from doorstep to the beach. We loved the quiet beach community. The house was very clean and it is well kept. We also loved how shady the lot is. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. This place is one of the few places we found that allowed our great dane. We would definitely book this place again in the future.

Quiet Location

Very cute cottage in a nice and quiet location. Very easy to get to The Big Chill and to The Horseshoe/Rosemary. The neighborhood was perfect for my preteen to ride his bike without worrying about traffic, close enough for the teen to bike to see his friends, and the dogs loved their walks each day. Would definitely stay there again.

Great area but isn’t actually close beach access

Beautiful location and looks just like the pictures. But it should be explained that while you’re given a code to get on the beach and it’s a quick walk, you will not be able to set up where you walk on the beach. We were immediately directed down beach as we are from across the street and that beach is for those who own/rent on the beach. It was a hike to get to the area we were allowed to sit on. The place was fine but would have been better if it had some comforts that every Airbnb we’ve stayed at has; such as salt and pepper, sugar as well as a garbage bag for each day you’re renting. 2 garbage bags and one roll of paper towels when other places offer so many more amenities means we will rent somewhere else nex

Short walk to beach and pool

We loved the location, easy walk to the beach and pool. We could ride our bikes to Rosemary beach and the Big chill with a toddler and 7 year old. The only minor thing is the chairs could be updated outside. They looked mildew on some. Loved the porch swing. Had a great time, we’d stay again.

Perfect location centered between serene Alys beach and vintage Seaside! Peaceful back-porch bliss situated in wooded seclusion. Updated and very clean. Short walk to beach, although quite a few steps down to it. Do not recommend if you have elderly guests. Would book again in a heartbeat!

July 4th Holiday 2021

Great location! Perfect location for 2 families. Loved that the house was so close to the beach, less than a 5 minute walk. We found it easier to walk to the public beach entrance rather than entering the private entrance and walking down to the area of the beach we were allowed to enjoy. House was clean, air conditioning worked perfect for us. Also the washer and dryer were such a nice convenience. Would stay here again.

Lovely vacation rental

This 3br, 3 bath, spacious beach vacation home is lovely! Less than 5 min walk from beautiful turquoise Gulf waters. Located in Seacrest and not Panama City Beach as advertised. Beware- Beach access does not grant you permission to use the beach - so more walking would be required to find a spot on the beach for chairs and umbrellas umbrellas. Overall a pleasant experience..

We Loved Magnolia Mermaid!

This home was perfect for our family - myself and my husband, daughter and son-in-law, and their 20-month-old son. Beds were comfortable, two of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, wonderful open floor plan and screened porch (loved the swing!) Short walk to the gorgeous beach, and we really appreciated that there was a wagon to use for moving the baby and beach equipment from the house to the beach. Visitors, be aware that there are 4 flights of steps to get down from the top of the dunes to the beach. We look forward to staying at Magnolia Mermaid again!

Cozy cottage

The cottage was cozy and had ample space for 6 people and is was well equipped for making our own meals. We loved the porch swing and back patio. The heated pool is close by and was a great addition. The cafe at the end of the street had great popsicles and iced coffee.Our only issue was beach access. We used the code provided to access the beach gate and set up at the bottom of the stairs along the beach. A man came by and said we on private property and were trespassing unless we paid 70/day/chair and made us leave. It was embarrassing and unexpected. We had to pack up and leave. I explained that we had a code for the beach access, but he didn’t care and told us 4 times that we were trespassing.
