Our stay was simply amazing! The house and the property are maintained impeccably. Carmine and Francoise are wonderful people who were there for anything we needed, and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. The views from the house and anywhere on the property are breathtaking. My family enjoyed every minute of our vacation, and I just can't say enough about how perfect this home was. Thank you Carmine and Francoise for making my father's trip back to his hometown magical.

Ein wundervolles Fleckchen Erde

Wir haben zu Fünft (3 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) eine Woche Ende Oktober in der Unterkunft verbracht und unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Der Blick ins Tal ist fantastisch. Die Unterkunft gut ausgestattet. Lediglich ein separates Wohnzimmer fehlt, sondern ist in die Küche integriert. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört, da wir eh viel unterwegs waren und bei gutem Wetter gerne draußen am Pool gesessen haben. Die Gastgeber Carmine und Françoise haben uns super herzlich empfangen und haben uns bei Fragen schnell geholfen. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die geräumige und sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung samt der schönen gepflegten Anlage mit Pool bot den idealen Erholungsort nach Ausflügen nach Rom, Neapel oder Pompeji. Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit, gaben zusätzliche Ausflugstipps oder Empfehlungen und waren immer zur Stelle bei Fragen.

Ruhe, Entspannung, grandiose Aussicht, herrliches Gelände mit sehr schönem Pool!

Wir (6 Personen/ 3 Erw., 3 Kinder 10,14,15 Jahre) verbrachten 2 Wochen in der EG- Wohnung dieses schönen Ferienhauses. Wir fanden ein sehr gepflegtes Haus mit liebevoll gestaltetem Außengelände vor, am oberen Ortsrand von Colfelice/Villafelice, umgeben von unzähligen Olivenbäumen und mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht in‘s Tal. Das Haus und der Garten samt Poolbereich und überdachter Lounge sind tipptopp in Ordnung, die Küche ist mit allen erforderlichen Dingen (Töpfe, Pfannen, Geschirr, Besteck,...) ausgestattet. Bade- und Handtücher sowie Bettwäsche wurden gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis zur Verfügung gestellt. Die schöne bergige Lage hatte leider Auswirkungen auf die WLAN-Qualität und den störungsfreien Empfang des Fernsehkanals, auf dem die WM-Fußballspiele übertragen wurden - ersteres war für die Kinder zuweilen ein Problem, letzteres für den Vater...;-) Der schöne Pool und die Tatsache, dass wir zum großen Teil das Anwesen für uns alleine hatten, haben uns aber reichlich entschädigt! Das Haus ist komplett mit sehr guten Fliegengittern ausgestattet, am Abend draußen merkt man, warum - Mückenspray ist Pflicht! Im Ort selbst gibt es eine Gelateria und eine (sehr leckere und äußerst günstige!) Pizzeria, ansonsten findet man dort wirklich nur Ruhe, Entspannung, Idylle pur samt Schafen, krähendem Hahn und Kirchturmglocken. Das Gelände ist komplett umzäunt und mit einem großen Gitter abgesperrt, es gibt ausreichend große Stellplätze für die Autos innerhalb der Einzäunung; wir hatten konstant ein Gefühl großer Sicherheit während unseres Aufenthaltes. Lebensmittel kauft man im 3-4 km entfernten Ort Roccasecca, wo es abseits der Hauptstraße einen wunderschönen alten Ortskern mit guten Restaurants und sehr viel authentischer Atmosphäre gibt, sehr schön, wenn man - wie wir- die touristisch überlaufenen und konsumorientierten Plätze vermeiden möchte!! Zum Schluss möchte ich noch die äußerst freundlichen, zuvorkommenden und herzlichen Vermieter erwähnen, die in einem kleinen Gästehaus auf dem Grundstück ihren Sommer verbringen - nah genug für Fragen, aber in kleinster Weise aufdringlich. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld der Reise verlief reibungslos, vor Ort (auf Französisch!😅) erwiesen sich Carmine und Francoise als sehr liebenswürdige und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die auch schon mal einen halben Tag ein Aufe auf die Kinder hatten, damit die Erwachsenen eine Tour ohne gelangweilte Teenies machen konnten! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert! Merci beaucoup!

Rust, sfeer en authentiek in Villafelice

Wij hebben genoten van 12 dagen Villafelice. Het prima appartement was volledig uitgerust en netjes. De wat hoger gelegen locatie is zeer authentiek en gesitueerd tussen de lokale bevolking. Dat garandeert prachtige vergezichten op de omgeving. De villa is omgeven door prachtige olijfbomen. Het wat lager gelegen zwembad is royaal en prima onderhouden. Omdat de eigenaar meestentijds elders woont ben je (afhankelijk van de bezetting van de andere appartementen) wat meer aangewezen op je eigen verantwoordelijkheden. Maar dat heeft ook zo zijn charme en biedt je bovendien wat extra privacy. Kortom, het is heerlijk toeven in en appartement van Carmine, met eigen parkeergelegenheid. Omdat de villa gesitueerd is buiten het toeristisch gebied is het wel een voorwaarde dat je houdt van rust en relax. Villafelice is een heel klein dorpje dat verder weinig te bieden heeft. Een goed restaurant is wel Col Gioioso (1 km). In Arce (4 km) is het dorpse restaurant Ida een prijsvriendelijke aanrader, met z'n dagelijks wisselende handgeschreven menukaart. De locatie ligt halverwege Rome en Napels en die beide steden bezochten wij ook. Rome met onze huurauto. Omdat de parking Anegnia aan de rand van de stad vol was kozen wij voor Saba Villa Borghese, midden in de stad. Het geeft wel wat gedoe en extra reistijd vanwege de verkeersdrukte maar je auto staat er prima, er is alle ruimte en je kunt direct bij de Spaanse Trappen de stadstoer beginnen. Napels hebben we gecombineerd met een bezoek aan het Grand Palace Caserta. In alle vroegte de auto geparkeerd in de parking in het centrum, tussen het treinstation en het paleis. Na een bezoek aan het paleis in een paar minuten naar het station gewandeld en met de trein naar Napoli Centrale gereisd (6,40 euro retour) waar we om 13.00 uur arriveerden. 's-Avonds laat met trein terug naar Caserta, in een paar minuutjes naar de parking gelopen en met de auto terug naar het appartement. Goede oplossing om de verkeersgekte in Napels te ontlopen. In daaropvolgende dagen met eigen auto nog een dag Sorrento en Amalfi kust (fantastisch) gedaan en een dag Vesuvius, Pompeii / Herculaneum. Verder zijn we nog naar de zee geweest in Sperlonga (viel ons wat tegen) en de abdij in Monte Cassino bezocht. Nog nooit zo'n prachtige abdij gezien. Wow. De resterende vijf dagen genoten van de prachtige locatie van Carmine in Villafelice en genoten aan het zwembad. Video: https://youtu.be/ThrajL7JKU0
