Dustin Layne is a large 1900 sq foot, two story cabin on Lake LBJ.  The cabin is on Log Country Cove property and is managed by Log Country Cove, with 20+ years of 5 star hospitality in the Kingsland area.  This cabin is great for families and groups who love being outdoors & close to all amenities. Non-motorized items included in your stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was immaculate upon arrival. It is located near the waterfront. Quick access to fishing, swimming, rope swing and water trampoline. Right next to mini golf course, volleyball court, basketball court and playground. First time visiting. We will be back.

Super relaxing lake front

We hit a beautiful moment where there were very few patrons on property. The cabin’s beautiful. Tons of beds and rooms to sleep. Great view of the lake. Comfortable couch, nice big dinner table. Highly functional kitchen. Great, quiet spot off the beaten track of the lake.

All the staff were incredible. We had a toilet issue (grandkids) that was immediately taken care of. Jet ski breakdown and the office quickly sent help to tow us in. At check out we reserved our cabin again for next year. Only downside was the TV cable service did not always work, but a minimum inconvenience compared to the great time we had.

However, we had an issue with the bathrooms. The bathrooms flooded twice. There were something wrong with the pipes in that cabin. We couldn’t shower in the upstairs bathroom because it would leak onto the downstairs bathroom. It was annoying.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was better in person, absolutely loved it! Amenities were great right at your doorstep. House was clean and spacious. Good fishing too! Only downside was everyone staying gets a bracelet to access the amenities, when the office closed, a couple hours later a group of 15 or so teenagers came and basically took over everything. Even the playground for little kids lol. We decided it was best to just go back in the house.They weren’t guests none of them had bracelets. They started partying and left broken glass from beer bottles everywhere and didn’t leave until very late at night. It was annoying but we didn’t let it ruin our wonderful stay.

Nice location on the river

We had a great time in the cabin with friends and family. Loved all the amenities so close. We used the volleyball court and water trampoline daily. The mini golf was fun and we had lots of games. The balls and clubs are all available on site. The cabin has a huge table for games and eating. I would bring two table cloths because the cleaner they use leaves it very sticky. Ice your drinks down or the drive will take a long time to cool your food. We ran out of silverware a lot for our group of 12 bring extra and extra big bowls if you plan on cooking l. Everything else is there. Two types of coffe machines, toaster, crock pot on request. They don’t provide many trash bags so bring extra. The dumpster is by the basketball court. If you need gas for your boat, they have the lowest price on the lake. They have jet ski and boat rentals also. We plan on going back as it was a great location and lots of things to do on and off the water.
