New 3rd Full Bathroom for 2025. Best lake and mountain views. Super clear water

Updated 4 bedroom, 3 bath house with an extra lot for parking RV's, boat trailers and plenty of cars. This house has it all with 4 bedrooms and now 3 full baths. Comfortable sleeping arrangements: Master bedroom with king-sized bed, second bedroom with queen bed, third bedroom with queen bed, and a game room with a king bed and with two bunk beds and a full ensuite bathroom . Great setup for multiple family get-a-ways. Rental rates are based on 8 guests. Additional guests are $25 per night. Maximum occupancy is 12. Pets with prior approval and separate fee.

The Llano River arm of Lake LBJ is a unique location due to the sandy bottom that is great for kids and adults. Don't take a chance on a dirty channel or cove location when the clearest, cleanest water on the lake is available at SAKS Retreat.

Water depth at the dock is 2 to 3 feet and the dock is 75 feet long. Plenty of room for multiple boats and watercraft.

The entire area in front of the house is a no wake zone, so it is safe for swimming. Not a water lover? Then just relax on the deck with a good book while enjoying the best view of Packsaddle Mountain, or take up a round of golf just down the street at the Lighthouse Golf Club..

Great location on the river, sandy water and quite shallow so great for kids and pets. House was cool and comfortable with plenty of space and a fantastic view across the lake at sunrise and sunset.

Great location and plenty of space to spread out at the lake.

We loved our stay. Loved the location and all the amenities. My only wish was that the water was a little deeper at the property. Deeper water was only 200-300 yards away so it would not be a deterrent. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great Place to Get Away

The sleeping arrangements were great, the location on the water is wonderful, and the amenities were just exactly what they said they were on the VRBO site. The family had a very memorable evening together the night before my father's funeral, and the rental home was the highlight of a very hard couple of days. I'll stay here again!

Wonderful House on River

This place is amazing--house is planned to bring people together but also give everyone private spaces. River was clean, we loved sandy bottom, and shallow enough for our six-year old. Gorgeous stars at night.

Absolute Best!

We had a wonderful time at SAKS!! It was the perfect spot with plenty of beds and lots of space outside for the kids to run around, stocked kitchen, clean, tons of extra towels/linens, and the kayaks & paddleboat were awesome too!!. The sandy beach area was fantastic for our 4 young kids to play safely along the river's edge! We loved it and will definitely visit again!!

Lovely River Retreat

This is the 4th time we've stayed at this lovely house on the river. The house is perfect, and we love the big yard and wonderful river that is shallow enough for our grandson to walk across to the island and skip rocks in the river, yet deep enough for our kayaks. What a wonderful week-end!

Sibling reunion

Our stay with the Kingsland lake property was well received by all family members. Plenty of space for comfort and nothing could beat the views from property. There were plenty of activities from fishing, kayaking, and hanging out with family. It truly was a chance to relax and experience "lake life." Enjoyed our time on the lake and would do it again.

River Paradise

Lovely and comfortable house with a fabulous yard that leads down to river. Beautiful river perfect for children, shallow with sandy bottom (too shallow for power boats, which we liked). House layout affords both privacy, with the four bedrooms, and togetherness, with nice kitchen, dining area, living room and patio. We love this place!

A great stay for the entire family!

The house just feels like home! All the bedding was new and the towels were amazing! Everything we could possibly need was provided. We enjoyed coffee on the deck, kayaking up the river, sunsets from the banks and evening games around the kitchen table. Plenty to do for the teens and even the grandparents. Definitely adding to our list of favorites! Also an easy drive to the Bluebonnet Cafe for pie!

Relaxing vacation

The description is perfect and the house was a perfect size for a family vacation. We had teens and two 10 years olds that enjoyed every moment of our stay. Peaceful, relaxing and fun river access. The only minor hiccup was the fridge doesn’t cool hot drinks quickly. (About a day and a half to cool down bottled water )

The property was very clean. We had plenty of space for everyone! The kids enjoyed the river at night because it was shallow! You really can’t drive a boat up to the dock because it’s so shallow! Fun was had by all!

Why they chose this property

Purchased this property because of the kid friendly location on the lake. Quiet, relaxing views of Packsaddle and a sandy lake bottom make this property a "must stay" for families with kids of all ages. The Llano River arm of Lake LBJ is the preferred spot to park your boat and hang out in the water that averages from 2 to 12 feet deep. It is also the preferred spot for wake boarders due to the long straight stretch of water and the limited boat traffic. A small sand island right off the shore is a favorite for smaller children and creates a private swim area. Kayaking is also a favorite activity on this part of the lake and 3 kayaks are provided for use during your stay. A paddle boat is also included and is a great way to explore the lake and meet the neighbors.

What makes this property unique

You won't find a better view on the lake. Undisturbed natural shoreline across the lake with Packsaddle mountain in the background. A Western view makes for beautiful sunsets.
