Our elegant and warm post-and-beam home on 15 private acres has sweeping mountain views of Bromley and and the Green Mountains, and is the perfect retreat for your Vermont stay.

With an open kitchen/living area, cozy wood burning fireplace, and large yard with a fire pit, it's perfect for relaxing and visiting with family and friends. The home has a large dining room, Jacuzzi bath tub, WiFi, entertainment room, outdoor grill and plenty of sleeping space for large groups. This home is peaceful and beautiful, inside and out.

Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing can be enjoyed right on the property, and Bromley, Stratton and Okemo are just minutes away. Nordic skiing is also available nearby at the Wild Wings and Viking Centers. In the summertime, activities close by include the theater at the Weston Playhouse, and swimming at Lowell Lake and Hapgood Pond. Hikers enjoy the Long Trail, the Green Mountains, and Glebe Mountain can be accessed from the back door. All year round, Manchester Center offers the Outlets, galleries, and excellent restaurant and shops.

Fantastic Family Getaway

We were so excited to come and stay at this property for a spring skiing family trip and we were not disappointed. Fantastically appointed for all of your needs, clean, plenty of space for family. So close to so many skiing experiences, amenities close by. Privacy and gorgeous views. We are looking forward to coming back!

A-MAZ-ING

The house is exactly as described and then some. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We had multiple families staying and never felt on top of each other. The kitchen is massive with everything you would need to cook each meal. Will absolutely stay here again… and can’t wait to!

Amazing stay in Vermont!!

We recently stayed at this wonderful cabin for our annual fall family visit to Vermont. What a great place!! Besides the gorgeous views, David’s house had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable and relaxing. We’re hoping to return again next year. Beautiful Vermont Mountain Home

We had a fantastic stay at this property. David's home is a beautiful, exposed timber post and beam home perched high up on a hillside with long distance views looking west to Bromley Mountain. We absolutely had no issues during our 12 day stay. The steep driveway was well plowed before we arrived, despite a 3 foot snow storm just a few days prior. The home was clean, warm, and cozy and provided us with the perfect spot to spend the holidays and do some skiing at the many nearby mountains- Bromley, Okemo, Stratton, and Magic are all close by. Hope to return in the future.

Thanksgiving Road Trip

This is our third time we have used VRBO. By far this property rental was one of the best. The house and the view was just stunning. The kitchen indeed was fully stocked for cooking a Thanksgiving feast. As a baker, I was also so excited to see a KitchenAid mixer...I was able to also bake homemade chocolate chip cookies too. David the owner was very responsive to all of our inquiries. We would love the opportunity to come back and explore VT again!

Great weekend get away

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this house for a weekend away from the kids. Convenient access to 3 ski mountains and downtown Manchester made this a win. The house was spotless, well appointed, and nicely decorated. We definitely plan on returning.

Great location and house for big families

The house isery close to Magic Mountain and a short drive to Bromley ski area and two fun/small cross country ski areas; we love to cook and the kitchen had all we needed (I brought my food processor) as it had good knives, many pots/pans, even a kitchen aid; the beds were comfortable and there are nice common areas to enjoy; the kitchen has a speaker that you can Bluetooth for music Tips for making the trip a great one: only one room has curtains so if you want to sleep in past the sunrise, either bring a mask or hang sheets up (it would be great if all the bedrooms had curtains); the drive way is long and steep so if you visit in the winter, touch base with the owner to make sure it is sanded as the area by the house was very icy I would stay here again for sure

Bromley ski vacation

Had a great mini vacation at the house. Super clean, bright and beautiful. The driveway can be tough with snow but the local plow person was great and we never had an issue. Thanks again!

Great Winter Getaway

The property was even better than expected! We were a large group and had plenty of space. We cooked dinners and breakfasts and the kitchen was spacious and had all necessary supplies. We loved sitting by the fire and looking out at the scenic views, and the proximity to Magic Mountain for skiing was a huge plus. The house was clean and the beds were so comfortable. Would love to stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful time at the house. It is perfect - great for skiing, close to three mountains, and so lovely to come home to at the end of the day and light a fire. We would love to stay here again. Watching a fox run across a snowy field was a bonus this morning as I sipped my coffee.

A perfect VT getaway

Beautiful home and stunning views... well appointed if you want to stay in a cook, enjoy the gorgeous dining area and sit by the fire, or if you want to go out, you are so close to the Londonderry village and restaurants. Just be sure to have all -wheel or 4 wheel drive for driveway. We loved the house, and especially appreciated how every detail was thought of. Our host was so awesome! We will be back!

Wonderful home in Londonderry

This is an awesome property, which is central to Manchester and many slopes. The post and beam construction is absolutely charming. 10 family members fit comfortably with space to spare. The large kitchen has every convenience imaginable from spices to equipment. The owner was very accommodating. We look forward to returning!

Perfect for a fall weekend with friends

We came out with a group of friends for an annual weekend trip and this house had everything we needed. The home is beautiful, nicely decorated, with gorgeous views out every window. The kitchen/living area is open and spacious, though we spent most of our time out on the knoll around the campfire. The home is secluded, surrounded by woods with a sweeping view of the mountains and valley below, which during peak leaf season was stunning. The owner David was very friendly and responsive when we needed some extra supplies and then blew a circuit while cooking dinner. The only thing we would change is to put blinds or curtains in the bathrooms and bedrooms. While the house was hidden from view of any neighbors, some additional privacy while using the bathroom would be nice, and keeping the sun out of the bedrooms in the mornings would have let us sleep in a little longer. All in all a wonderful weekend away, and everyone was impressed with the home.

Stunning Views

We just stayed on this property for Labor Day weekend and I have nothing but great things to say about. The house was very clean and had all the amenities and space you need for a short or long stay. What impressed us the most was the property and views! The house sits up on a hill and is very private! You cannot see or hear any neighbors - or cars for that matter. The yard is massive and excellent for playing yard games or just hanging out. There are unobstructed views of Bromley Mountain from both the house and yard. We really enjoyed watching the sun set over Bromley from the fire pit that is up on a knoll about 100 yards from the house! David was great to deal with and answered all of our questions promptly. It's in a great location too! Very close to ski areas. We would definitely stay here again!

An Amazing Find……

My family and I had the Pleasure of staying in this Gorgeous and Amazing cabin for a week. The views and Sunsets are amazing in the backyard (with a fire pit on the hill). Here are some things we loved about the cabin; • The owner David is very responsive to any and all questions, from pre-booking to after booking and during our stay. • The cabin is very clean. • There was everything that we needed for our stay (bed linens, towels, TP, games to play with the kids, DVD’s, etc). • The kitchen has everything that you need to make your own meals with the food you bring. The knives are sharp which is a plus (most places that I have been they are not). • The beds a very comfortable after a long day of hiking. (the wife wants a bed like this one now). • There is wifi connection and two TV’s. (We did not really have time to use either of them. As we were out almost all day long)… • A lot of attention to small details all around the house. • There are so many great things about this place to list. We look forwards to coming back and staying again. Thanks again for opening up your gorgeous cabin to us.

Felt like home.

Beautiful Home with an amazing view

The home is beautiful and has everything we needed. There was lots to do in the area. We enjoyed hiking and biking and kayaking and going to farmers markets. It was a restful and fun vacation for our family of five.
