About this property

Welcome to Vermontany!

Named by our 8-year-old, we bought this house in the summer of 2022, and we have been working hard to update it with new hardwood floors, fresh paint, updated furniture, and new appliances.

Central to five ski resorts - less than 10 minutes to Magic, 15 to Bromley and Stratton, 25 to Okemo, 35 to Mt. Snow - most with year-round activities. Ride the Gondola at Stratton and enjoy the foliage in the fall or ski down in the winter. Chase thrills in the summer at Bromley's Mountain Adventure Park or on their family-friendly trails in winter.

Vermontany has views overlooking the West River. Step outside for rail trail access for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, and hiking.

Four bedrooms, each with ensuite, for privacy. Spacious seating with new cozy couches in living room. Second floor living area great for kids, with puzzles, games, and a "little free library" (take a book, leave a book).

Well stocked kitchen with new induction range. Close to amenities and shops.

Family Memories

First and foremost the host is a lovely woman. She is easy to communicate with and very responsive. The home is well planned for children and adults. It had many amenities with a bathroom in every bedroom. The house is clean in a quiet neighborhood. We are returning!

Winter Family Weekend

The hosts were very responsive and the house was very clean and well equipped with all the comforts of home. The 4 bedroom, 41/2 bath is nice for everyone to spread out and have their privacy as needed. Nice size family room and dining room to spend time together. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. Would definitely consider booking this property again.

Gorgeous place near Stratton

It’s such a nice place to leave. The house is clean and there are restrooms for each room which is very convenient. Host replies very quick, they really do everything they could to help with our experience here. We enjoyed a lot with the snow and the wonderful place. Will definitely come back next time.

Londonderry stay

Everything exactly as advertised & so much more! Extremely well stocked kitchen & bathrooms. Heat was easy to adjust & never ran out of hot water (with multiple showers going)! Easy location to find & river view so pretty. Easy travel to different mountains ( we enjoyed Stratton, Okemo & Mt. Snow). Very comfortable beds & young teens ❤️the full bunk beds w/cute led lights! We Would def. Stay again!😊

As a couple, we have traveled throughout the Northeast, enjoying all it has to offer in all seasons - skiing, foliage, swimming, etc. We now have two daughters to bring along and hope they learn to love travel and New England as we do.

What makes this property unique

Each bedroom has its own ensuite. As we get older, this becomes a cherished luxury. Also, we have waded into the river for some swimming during the hottest summer days. Nothing beats the sound of the river!
