FRAMEWORK SITUATION

In peace, all the year, very nice home any comfort on big open ground of 1000 m ² giving a clear view on the surrounding countryside.
At 900m altitude Fohet (common AYDAT 63970) is an authentic Auvergnat village in the heart of the production area of ​​the famous cheese Saint-Nectaire south of the chain of Puys (World Heritage of UNESCO in July 2018) .

ACTIVITIES ON SITE:
Located 4 kms from the AYDAT lake, 65 hectares, the largest natural lake in Auvergne, a tourist center and renowned outdoor resort, a whole range of activities is offered in all seasons.

The house with a surface of 80m ² is on one level (on a large basement), accessible by a staircase.
It consists of a large living / dining room with fully equipped kitchen.
Bathroom with bath.
A room with a bed 140 (new bedding)
One bedroom with two beds in 90 (new bedding)
An independent toilet
A storeroom / laundry room with washing machine
To the south and west a large terrace with garden furniture, relax chairs and barbecue.
Vehicle parking is easy in front of the house. Motorcycles or bicycles in the garage.

Gite au calme et tres bien situé en Auvergne pour pouvoir randonner. Confortable et agréable. Gite propre. Producteur de Saint Nectaire à 500 m.Propriétaire accueillants et de bon conseil. A refaire quand nous reviendrons dans le coin.

Location bien située pour découvrir la région. Le propriétaire nous a donné toutes les explications nécessaires dès notre arrivée (visites, lieux à découvrir...).Attention, il n'y a aucun commerce dans le village. Il faut penser à faire ses achats lors des visites dans la région, mais ce n'est pas un problème.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison aux volets rouges ! La maison est très fonctionnelle et bien équipée. Nous avons profité du jardin et de la terrasse. L'environnement est très calme. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter !

A l'écart du bruit mais au carrefour de toutes les activités

La maison de nos hôtes offre un cadre soigné, impeccable et confortable. Elle présente l'avantage d'être au calme, à l'écart de l'agitation mais à l'intersection de randonnées multiples et de loisirs variés (base nautique d'Aydat, Vulcania, visite de Clermont-Ferrand, et bien d'autres d'activités). L'accueil affable du propriétaire, prodigue en conseils touristiques et pratiques, a été un atout supplémentaire. Nous reviendrions bien volontiers à d'autres saisons.

Un lieu de séjour remarquable.

La propriété est située dans l'environnement calme d'un village parfaitement placé pour une découverte de l'Auvergne: en pleine chaîne des puys, à 2 pas de Saint-Nectaire, du lac d'Aydat, de Vulcania, de Gergovie ou du Puy de Dôme, de Murol et du lac Chambon, etc..., toutes destinations qu'on a même largement pu sillonner à VTT ! Il faut dire que la région se prête merveilleusement aux randonnées à vélo (énormément de petite routes calmes et de chemins balisés) ou à pied et que l'accueil a partout été parfait. Sinon, que dire de la maison si ce n'est qu'elle est parfaitement aménagée et équipée pour que les hôtes ne rencontrent aucun problème tout au long de leur séjour ? Tout y est moderne et fonctionnel et, il faut le souligner, d'une propreté impeccable. Comme les propriétaires semblent d'une extrême disponibilité (qu'on n'a pas eu à solliciter, faute de problèmes), ce séjour d'une semaine a été une expérience très agréable pour nous deux et nous ne pouvons que recommander 'Les Volets rouges" aux vacanciers en recherche de confort au calme et avides de découvertes du patrimoine environnemental, historique ou culturel de l'Auvergne.

Ruhe in der Natur

Das Haus ist auf 900m Höhe in einer kleinen Wohnsiedlung gelegen. Nachts schläft man bei offenem Fenster auch in absoluter Ruhe. Trotz der kleinen Anliegerstraße vor dem Haus kann man hier ungestört auf der Terrasse sitzen. Das Internet mit 200MBit/s eignet sich sogar für Homeoffice oder für einen Film bei Netflix. Die Gasteltern bereiten (wie oft in Frankreich) einen herzlichen Empfang.

Accueil et communication avec les propriétaires avant et pendant le séjour super ! Maison bien située (20 minutes en voiture) de pleins d’activités dans la région (puis dôme, vulcania, etc…). Maison spacieuse et très propre. Connexion internet, jardin, terasse super ! J’y est passé une semaine géniale. Idéal pour ce reposer et faire des randonnées au calme ! Je recommande sans hésiter.

Séjour en Auvergne

Maison confortable, bien équipée, bonne localisation pour les visites touristiques, endroit très calme. Très bon contact avec la propriétaire. Excellente connexion internet. Bonne couverture 4 g Orange. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Une petite réserve le mobilier de jardin est peu confortable alors que la maison dispose d’une terrasse bien exposée et agréable.
