In a private, quiet dead end, this old lighthouse keeper's house was completely renovated in late 2016. By the customs road you are on foot 10 minutes from the walled city and the city center by the small ferry. The necessary shops are 5 minutes walk as well as the beach and the municipal swimming pool. The thalassotherapy center in town.

On the ground floor: entrance with toilet. The fitted kitchen is open to the living room giving access to a 25m2 terrace with sea view and marina exposed to the south west where you can admire the sunset. The living room is equipped with a TV with access to French, English, German channels, etc., free wifi. The wood stove is an undeniable plus for somewhat cool evenings in mid-season or winter.

Upstairs 2 bedrooms with sea view equipped with new hotel quality bedding of 160x190. The third bedroom overlooking the garden is equipped with 2 90x190 beds that can be put together. All bedrooms are fitted with electric shutters. In the bathroom there is a walk-in shower of 140 cmX80 cm, a vanity unit and a WC.

Outside: a private enclosed living space at the rear facing east, accessible on one level by the kitchen with 4 armchairs, a table, 6 chairs and the barbecue. At the front, a terrace open to the living room living room to the south west with a table and 6 chairs, parasol, view of the sea, the marina and the city.

Perfect location in beautiful Brittany

Loved it! The house has everything you need. Well appointed kitchen. Washer and dryer are a huge plus. The terraces are so lovely. We were there two weeks and it wasn't enough! Hosts live nearby and are very helpful, but never invade your privacy. And as a plus, electric shutters everywhere!

Das Haus liegt sehr attraktiv, da es ganz nahe an der Altstadt und zugleich am Küstenwanderweg liegt. Es befinden sich auch nette Strände in der Nähe. Die Küche ist umfassend ausgestattet; es fehlt an nichts. Die Betten sind bequem. Michel gibt gerne Tipps und ist für Fragen offen. Gleichzeitig ist er unaufdringlich und höflich zurückhaltend. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Immer wieder schön!

Auch unser 2. Aufenthalt in diesem Haus war sehr gut. Es war wie Nach-Hause-Kommen. Alles, wie wir es brauchen und wie es beschrieben ist. Gemütlich und hübsch! Unübertroffen ist die Stimmung morgens und abends auf der kleinen Holzterrasse. Gerne wieder ein weiteres Mal!

Gut ausgestattetes Haus in toller Lage

Wir wurden sehr freundlich vom Vermieter-Ehepaar empfangen, sogar ein paar regionale Spezialitäten standen für uns bereit. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Die Betten sind sehr bequem! Auch sonst fehlte es an nichts. Das Bad und die Küche waren sauber; lediglich die weniger zugänglichen Bereiche waren etwas staubig. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter beeinträchtigt. Man ist in ca. 5 Minuten bei der kleinen Fähre, die in kurzen Abständen zur Ville close fährt. Der Küsten-Spazierweg, der am Haus vorbeiführt, ist traumhaft! Wir haben uns auf die Felsen am Meer gesetzt und dort wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge beobachtet (Proviant mitnehmen!). Im Gegensatz zu den beiden gepflegten Terrassen vor und hinter dem Haus (schöne Aussichtauf die Altstadt!) ist die vorgelagerte Extra-Terrasse leider in keinem guten Zustand; die Holzmöbel sind ziemlich verwittert. Die Straße ist ruhig, aber man hört den abendlichen Trubel der Altstadt, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Die Vermieter, die direkt nebenan wohnen, sind sehr nett, aber unaufdringlich. Sie standen uns immer mit guten Ratschlägen zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank an die Eheleute Carval!

Großartiges Haus mit Blick auf Meer und Festungsstadt

Das Haus hat nur ein kleines Bad, aber drei großzügigige Schlafzimmer im OG und im UG ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer und vor allem eine bestens ausgestattete Küche, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Es gibt eine ruhige Rückterrasse, eine nach West raus mit Blick auf Concarneau. Die 3. Terrasse außerhalb haben wir, bei bestem Wetter, besonders genossen: fabelhafte Aussicht auf Meer und ville close! Parkplatz vor der Tür, Haus der Vermieter direkt nebenan, jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Mme. und Msr. Carval sind sehr tolerant für schlechtes Französisch, Michel spricht auch gut Englisch. Einkauf problemlos: SPAR-Markt zu Fuß in 10 min. erreichbar ("Tante-Emma-Laden" mit Tabak), INTERMARCHÉ per Auto in 7 min. (hier gibt's alles! Für uns Landratten eine unglaublich faszinierende Auswahl an Fisch und Meeresfrüchten! Und typische bretonische Produkte). Von hier aus in 30-90 Minuten per Auto erreichbare zahlreiche lohnende Ziele: Pont Aven, Auray, Carnac, Quimper, Quimperlé, Pont Abbé, Pointe du Raz - aber vor allem die ville close von Concarneau. Die Fähre dahin fährt im 12-Minuten-Takt, und dahin geht man am Ufer entlang gerade mal gute 10 Minuten. Dort Moules marinières zu essen und die vielfältigen und richtig guten Musiker/innen zu genießen, das ist Urlaub vom feinsten. Für Fans von Commissaire Dupin: Das L'Amiral gibt's auf der Gegenseite wirklich, aber da einen Platz zu finden, erfordert etwas Zähigkeit. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Grandioser Urlaub. Keine Wünsche offen!

Schönes Haus mit guter & ruhiger Lage für erholsamen Urlaub.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im "La Maison du marin" in Concarneau. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig, nächste Bademöglichkeit fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Grandioser Blick auf den Ozean & Sonnenuntergang. Michel & Jette sind tolle Gastgeber, haben Ausflugstipps bei Schlechtwetter und helfen auch sonst bei kleineren Fragen (z. B. Werkzeug). Die Ausstattung im Haus ist modern & neuwertig, obwohl das Haus alt ist. Deshalb knarrt auch mal eine Tür. Alle Räume sind hell & freundlich renoviert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es für einen erholsamen Urlaub sehr empfehlen. Es laufen auch keine großen Schiffe den Hafen an, die einem die Sicht nehmen, laut sind & Abgase ausstoßen. Man kann viele kleine Segelboote beobachten, mal eine Rennyacht und kleine Fischkutter. In der Nähe gibt weitere ruhig gelegene Strände, die sind gut mit dem Fahrrad oder PKW erreichbar. Ausflug zum Pointe du Van & Pointe du Raz ist empfehlenswert, sehr beeindruckende Natur und Naturgewalten. Ansonsten ist die Bretagne einfach schön.

Séjour très agréable, situé au calme et à proximité de la ville close par le bac et du centre ville.

Très bon accueil de nos hôtes. La maison est très confortable, propre et bien aménagée. Idéalement placée, au calme près du bord de mer. La promenade en front de mer est simplement splendide! Le petit chemin conduisant au bac pour accéder à la ville close est plaisant et rapide (10 mn). Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons vivement.

Location tout confort

Maison bien isolee, agencee, decoree, equipee. Environnement tres dense mais tres calme en ce mois de novembre. Toutes les commodites à pied ou par le bac qui relie cette rive à la ville close. Accueil attentionne par les proprietaires qui vivent à proximité. La maison est mitoyenne d'un côté mais on n'entend pas les voisins. Un beau séjour.

Belle maison près de Concarneau

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette maison bien équipée. Rien nous à manquer. Il y a 2 terrasses. Une située à l’arrière de la maison. L’autre vers la mer et Concarneau où l’on peut observer les bateaux sortant et rentrant au port.

Haus mit tollem Blick auf Concarneau

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus im alten Leuchtturm-Viertel von Lanriec mit tollem Blick auf den Hafen von Concarneau und die Ville close. Das Haus verfügt über zwei Terrassen. Highlight ist die zusätzliche, separate Terrasse direkt am Küstenpfad, von der aus man die ein- und ausfahrenden Boote beobachten kann. Alle Verbrauchsmaterialien wie Spül- und Waschmittel, Gewürze etc. sind bereits im Haus vorhanden. Die netten Vermieter haben zahlreiche Tipps zu Ausflugszielen und Lokalitäten.

Sehr gepflegtes Ferienhaus

Die Küche des Ferienhauses lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Rolläden ermöglichen einen optimalen Sonnenschutz. Im Haus schaffen Bilder und ein Schiffsmodell eine schöne, maritime Atmosphäre. Die beiden am Haus gelegenen Terrassen in Ost-und Westlage ermöglichen zu jeder Zeit ein Sitzen in der Sonne. Von einer weiteren etwa 30 Meter vom Haus entfernten Zusatzterrasse , die mit Teakgartenmöbeln ausgestattet ist, hat man zusätzlich auch eine Panoramaseesicht.

Zentral und doch ruhig

Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet gegenüber der Ville Close von Concarneau in der zweiten Reihe mit Blick auf den Hafen und der Ville Close. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Von der Terrasse hat man eine schönen Blick auf den Hafen - uns hat die Höhe der Hecke des Nachbarn nicht gestört. Die Eigentümer wohnen direkt neben an. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und mit einem Präsentkorb mit regionalen Spezialitäten begrüßt und mit praktischen Tipps versorgt. Auch der check out verlief unkompliziert und entspannt.

Wundervoll!

Zwei wirklich schöne Wochen in diesem Haus liegen hinter uns. Uns hat besonders die ruhige Lage (kein Durchgangsverkehr) und die kleine „Extra-Terrasse“ direkt am Wasser gefallen (1. Foto). Sie ist genau der richtige Ort für den „apero“, ein Glas Wein beim Sonnenuntergang oder um die morgendliche Ruhe zu genießen. Das Haus ist perfekt für einen erholsamen Urlaub!
