We were looking for a place for our annual Girls getaway......we usually shop & dine out in a fun location, but with this years Covid, we opted to rent a lakehouse & spend our time eating, crafting, hiking & playing cards & of course giggling. The house did not disappoint----the sunrise view from the living room was spectacular. We were welcomed with a lovely note & 2 loaves of yummy bread-such a nice touch. Cyndi was so easy to work with & very prompt with replies. The house is very well maintained, almost better than the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we would need for making our own meals. We did alot of crafting & it was so sweet that there was a larger folding table set up for us complete with a plastic tablecloth we could bundle our mess up for easy clean up. There was another table in the closet as well----this worked out beautifully. There were 5 of us, so plenty of beds/rooms for us to spread out. We loved the sectional in the living room to enjoy our morning coffee. The dining table was plenty roomy for some crazy games of dice & cards. The house was very clean , ceiling fans were nice in the rooms, making the whole house comfy. I would highly recommend the Ice Age Trail which is located just a few miles away for a lovely 5 mile loop hike--easy for everyone. Beautiful in the fall with the fall leaves, we had more snow on the ground than leaves, so it was really beautiful.
