About this property

Ground floor overlooking private lake

Large family room and dining area overlooking lake. One bedroom with en-suite bath. Another bedroom across the hall from additional bath. Washer & dryer, all electric kitchen, central heat and air. Ceiling fans in all rooms. All linens and cookware, including outdoor charcoal grill on deck are provided. A small kayak is also provided.

COVID shutdown allowed time to put in new flooring, lighting, fans, refresh kitchen & baths, and a new patio.

No smoking or drugs.
No more than 4 additional guests and none overnight.

Dogs are the only pets allowed, maximum of 2. Pet fee is $10 per dog per day.

Please observe common courtesy after 8:00 PM .

Enjoyed our stay

Great location and close to everything. Older condo but very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Very nice view of the small lake behind the condo. Spacious. Very relaxing environment. We plan on going back in the spring.

Pet friendly paradise

We stayed here with our small dog while visiting for a wedding in town. Great location, about 10 minutes from downtown and near plenty of good restaurants. The place looks just like the photos and was very clean. Lots of trinkets and decorations to make you go, "hmm, I wonder what that's about." The lake out back is absolutely beautiful and even though I walked around the grassy area with my dog when I first arrived, I was warned by a neighbor about the alligator that lives there and we enjoyed the view from inside the rest of our stay. We even saw him at one point! My only issue is that I wish the couch in the living room was more comfortable. I understand it's a pull out and allows for more guests but when it's operating as just a couch it's a bit difficult to unwind at the end of the day. Cindy was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Would recommend!

Very convenient location to Cape Coral and Ft. Myers area. First floor unit on the lakefront with a door straight to the outdoor area - perfect for a dog. Comfortable and affordable. we did not need anything during our stay but owner was very quick to respond on pre-arrival communications.

The home for relaxation, happiness and peace

Firstly, Cindy welcomed us into her beautiful beach home and assured us she was available if we needed anything. Very clean and inviting. Books with every title possible for night time relaxation (especially the day trip booklet for your everyday pleasure to discover, which we surely made use of). The man made lake to calm you down and the sunshine for your vitamin D. You will not be disappointed. We were truly happy for the duration of our stay. Thanks Cynthia

A Place in the Sun

My wife and I have vacationed in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area every winter for six years now , and this condo is in a good location for us. It is spacious, comfortably furnished and more than met our needs . Cindy, the property owner, is easy to contact and seems ready to assist you with any issues, should they arise. We have already booked a return visit for next year, and that is the sincerest recommendation we can give.

A place to hang your hat

The owner was very accommodating and available to us if we had questions. We got in very early on the actual day of arrival and she had no problem with allowing us to go into the property early. She was wonderful! The property was very old and needs updates. The carpet does need to be replaced and the furniture needs to be replaced because it is old and dirty. The condo is outdated and could use a complete overhaul but has so much potential. If you do not care about the fact the condo is outdated and needs to be cleaned then this place is for you. However, if you do not like old carpet and furniture and decor that is old and dirty and dingy then this is not the place for you. As for our family, we did not really care too much because we are very easy going and we were just happy to have all our kids together in one place. However, if the condo did not have the carpet replaced and new furniture we would not stay here again. We would rather pay an extra 50 dollars a day to stay at a cleaner place.

Dog-friendly

This property was very comfortable, and we are very appreciative of having a dog-friendly place to stay. Our 12-year-old poodle loved the grassy area conveniently out back. We enjoyed the lanai - and the view from outside and in. One sunny morning I saw a monarch butterfly nectaring on the flowers, and then some a duck swimming in the lake. I enjoyed my morning walks in the quiet neighborhood.

Cozy and a great value

We had a good time here. The small lake is very picturesque, and the location was very quiet. The description and photos were very accurate. It's about a 30 minute drive to the beach, but we knew that. It's also just 30 minutes to the airport, which was also a big plus for us. The kitchen was very well appointed, and the whole place was very clean. The porch was very nice for morning coffee or breakfast.
