About this property

Calm and authenticity 1h30 south of Paris - Welcome to Calmerie! 3 *

Located between Sens and Joigny, near Villeneuve sur Yonne, Courtenay and A5, A6 and A19, in the heart of the campaign, we 1h30 south of Paris, 45 minutes from Auxerre, 1:10 Guédelon and Chablis.

We welcome you to a dependency of our old 19th century farmhouse where you will appreciate its authenticity and calm.

Great courtyard common with the owners.

Our "Small house" of 60 m² includes:
- on the ground floor a living room with kitchen, table room, sofa bed 140, TV, DVD player, a bathroom and separate WC.
Access to the garden through a south window with views of the countryside. Terrace of 25 m² with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ.
- Upstairs, large attic room (1 bed 160 and 1 bed 90).
Baby bed loan and high chair on request.

Beds made on arrival. Sheets and towels provided.
Maintenance kits (sponge - dishwashing liquid - dishwashing tablets - toilet paper)
A few tea bags - coffee - herbal tea
Oil - vinegar - Salt - Pepper
Tourist documentation
Alarm clock
Hair dryer
Clothes drying rack

You can freely enjoy our large garden.

We are at your disposal:
Books, games companies, outdoor games (badminton, petanque, ball ...)
Raclette, stone grill, party pancakes.

Lives on site, we will be happy to advise you if you wish.

Walks or bicycle from the house, horse riding nearby for rides or courses, golf at 10km.

Station at Villeneuve sur Yonne (9km), Sens (15 km - 50 minutes from Paris Bercy), Joigny (25 km)

A deposit of 200 euros will be required upon your arrival and returned, except if necessary, upon your departure.

La calmerie porte bien son non

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la calmerie. Puisque nous y étions en période de grandes chaleurs, nous avons adoré la piscine et la terrasse ombragée. Le logement était quand même très chaud à l’intérieur, surtout à l’étage.La disponibilité des propriétaires était facilitante et les paysages de campagne magnifiques!

la maison se situe dans un village calme. la maison était propre et a tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour. les propriétaires sont sympas. il y a même une terrasse où l'on peut manger avec une vue agréable et reposante qui donne sur des champs à perte de vue. il y a une grande cour ppur garer les voitures ou une camionnette. si vous venez dans la région, je vous recommande ce logement. 😊

A beautiful gite in the countryside, ideally located for a stopping point on our long drive to Annecy from the UK. The pool was fantastic and the location peaceful and calm. Comfortable beds and welcoming hosts made for an excellent stay.

Traumhaft schöner Aufenthalt mit Familie

Wenn man Ruhe und Zeit mit der Familie sucht, dann hat man hier das Paradies gefunden. Es hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Das einzige, was man wissen sollte, ist, dass der nächste Supermarkt ca. 15 min Autostrecke entfernt liegt. Bestenfalls Essen schon dabei haben. Alles andere, ganz besonders der Pool, das sehr niedliche alte Farmhaus und die absolute Abgeschiedenheit, sind herausragend! Tausend Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt.

Charming country cottage

We had such a wonderful time visiting the Calmerie! It is quiet, clean, and well arranged. The hosts are available for questions, but not at all intrusive or overbearing. They had put out an extra bed for our second child and even had kids games for the yard. The closest town with restaurants and grocery is an easy 15 minute drive; and the town itself has a charming walking tour that provides information about the old towers and town. We loved our adventure through the countryside and are so glad we decided that stay here!

Un gite qui porte bien son nom

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme de cette maison et de la propriété en général. Le gite a été superbement restauré. Il est bien aménagé et décoré avec goût. Rien n'y manque. Bonne literie dans une chambre spacieuse (peut-être une moustiquaire à la fenêtre pour laisser ouvert la nuit sans craindre les hôtes indésirables). La terrasse est très agréable avec une jolie vue sur la campagne et de belles promenades. Laure et Frédéric sont des personnes charmantes, chaleureuses et très accueillantes. Merci à eux pour cet excellent WE. Une adresse à conserver vraiment.
