Timber Bear Cabin - Your Perfect Getaway, Firepit/Jacuzzi/WiFi/Much More!

Welcome to Timber Bear!
Located in the highly desirable area of Broken Bow, Timber Bear is tucked away on over an acre of land with mature pine trees and a creek. With the best of both worlds, Timber Bear is private and mainly secluded and is just minutes from Broken Bow Lake where there are plenty of outdoor activities and Hochatown with its many coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, and more.

The cabin easily accommodates 4 people. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa that has an added mattress topper. There is a spacious and unique extended deck with a hot tub, log burning fireplace, dining area, propane (provided) grill and there is a beautiful deck extension that goes into the wooded area of the property to a covered sitting area with lighting and a ceiling fan.

Enjoy outdoor fires either on the deck in the fireplace or under the stars at the campfire pit - firewood is available at many of the local stores.

Inside the cabin, you'll find a gas burning fireplace in the living room, a 55″ HDTV w/ DVD and Blu-Ray player, Wi-Fi throughout the cabin, a fully stocked kitchen with both a Keurig Coffee Maker as well as a traditional coffee maker; K-Cups and filters, sugar and creamer are provided. There is a large master bedroom with a luxurious king size bed in a gorgeous Aspen log frame and French doors leading to the deck, and the bathroom is equipped with a large soaker tub, spacious shower (with a double shower head), and double vanity with copper sinks.

Weekend Away

It was a quick trip for us, but this property is beautiful! Hand carved details are everywhere. The bed is very comfy, the shower is huge, the living areas are airy and comfortable. All of the outdoor spaces were set up perfectly, just remember bug spray!
The dining table is so pretty and the perfect size for games!

This cabin is definitely in the tops of my favorite stays. It was very clean, and super cute. All of the bears are adorable and that gazebo was a wonderful morning coffee spot ! Especially during the rain. It was just far enough and high enough into the tree line to feel like you were in the trees. The only thing missing in my humble opinion was a porch swing of some sort.

Amazing!!

We spent Thanksgiving break at the cabin! It was absolutely perfect! In fact, my daughter got engaged while we were there, while we overlooked from the balcony! It had everything we could have possibly needed and some:) We needed an extra mattress for our two younger kids and the owners promptly had one delivered to us! We have stayed at many cabins in Broken Bow and this one in Smithville was by far better, away from all of the business in Hochatown! We will definitely be returning!

Relaxing cabin

This place was amazing. From the bears all over the place to the wood used in the building. This place was everything we hoped for and more. There love for god is through out the cabin and people. They have everything you need dishes knives silverware a grill. What we forgot they had. Right down the road from the the lake and hochatown a coffee shop right around the corner. I highly recommend this cabin. We brought a little girl and dog and they both loved it. The fire place outside is great. We even got to see a buck and doe about 10 feet from the back porch it was truly awesome.

The bed was very comfortable but being 5’4” I had trouble figuring out how to get in it. And I hate to say but the living area furniture is awful. The couch is worn out and the recliner was not comfortable. My husband and would trade off who got to sit in the recliner. (The couch was that bad). The cabin itself is beautiful.

The Perfect Retreat

We have stayed at VRBO properties across the US and Europe and it’s easy to spot the owners who are tuned in to comfort and hospitality, as is the case here. The attention to guest comfort was much appreciated. Spa towels for the hot tub, coffee (and snacks for those inclined) soap, shampoo, and essential items such as dish soap, and an amazingly comfortable bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The property was immaculate and check in was a breeze. The outside area was particularly important to us and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was clean and worked well. Add the outdoor fireplace, grill, and the additional deck area that feels like a tree house and you will never want to go inside (but for that really comfy bed!). Of course, if you are inclined to be inside, the cabin is charming and relaxing with comfortable furniture and a very nice bathroom.Although there are other cabins close by, there are plenty of trees for privacy. The considerable thought the owners have put in to guest comfort and hospitality make this a truly wonderful retreat.

Relaxing Getaway

This cabin was perfect for me, my husband and fur babies. It has so many cute details and the attached gazebo was great for dining outside. We had a slight delay with checking in but the host resolved it quickly. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was beautiful and the perfect size for us. We loved the attached gazebo area and the details of the cabin. It was clean and the host was amazing. The cabin was very nice and clean and the location of the cabin gave us plenty of privacy even though there is a couple of cabins very close to this one.

Not worth the money.

Some things need fixed. Walk way had rebar falling off and rotting wood, plumbing in bathroom faucet handle not working, broken drawers in refrigerator, dog scratches on doors, and Siemens random person stopping by to shut off water and cover the hot tub back up when we went to lunch? . I don’t think the place was cleaned very well between people. Hot tub definitely was not refilled. It’s close to the highway so you hear the highway sounds more than nature or the cackling of the neighbors who were very close.
