Loved the layout of the cabin very Beautiful for a couples getaway. Hot tub was clean and awesome. Peaceful in the mornings and the evenings on the back deck. The furniture and outside chairs were to low in our opinion but not a turn off we are just an older couple.

Very clean and quiet. Spacious well thought out layout. The interior is beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We stayed 5 days and would have loved to stay longer! I give this cabin 5 stars!
This was our second trip to Broken Bow and Bear Den did not disappoint! Beautifully decorated and very clean, Bear Den is tucked in a private wooded area, yet close to restaurants, shopping, and everything you need. It has every amenity, even ice and water in the fridge which was super convenient for our daily hikes. It was a perfect getaway and we’ll definitely be back to Bear Den!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin & you will too! Perfect for a couple’s getaway! It is decorated so cute, the bed is very comfortable, fully furnished cabin with everything you need. We also enjoyed the hot tub - even though it was so hot outside, it was very relaxing. We will definitely be back! Maribeth was a very gracious host & even checked on us during our stay. 10/10 recommend!
Came down for Solar Eclipse viewing and looking for something a little more personal than a hotel and a little more private… away from the crowds The Bear Den Cabin was perfect!! It is tucked away far enough in the trees to be semi-remote yet close enough to town to be convenient. It is actually located in a “cabin community” … so u do have cabin neighbors, You can see them but it’s not distracting. Cabin is very clean and just perfect for two! (Four if u had little ones) Might be a little awkward for 4 adults bc it is open floor plan. Hot tub, grill, fire pit. All the necessities for a “glamping” weekend!! Loved it!
The property was as listed. It was such a great stay. The cabin everything we needed. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and highly recommend a stay at the Bear Den Cabin.
This is an awesome, cozy little cabin. The road getting there is a tad rough but I was still able to get my boat in and out with no trouble. Will stay again.
Overall it was great the house was beautiful everything was great the only thing I did not enjoy so much was the landscape need to cut down the overgrown weeds etc... in front of the house... the other cabins around us you could get out and enjoy the grassy areas not here was very overgrown not able to walk thou them or take your dog outside to use the bathroom.
From the start it was all easy booking and communication with the host. We ended up staying a whole week so it was nice the cabin came with a big fridge and washer/dryer, and a hottub to help with the long day. It was spacious and clean. The cabin sits in the middle of all the others up on a hill. There was so much to do in the area from fishing, hiking, zip lineing, ATV riding and much more. I do suggest getting all your groceries in Broken Bow because the stores here are limited and close early. Theres a raccoon and possum friend that will visit you but are very harmless. We will definitely be booking again! A 10 put of 10 experience with the cabin and area!
Beautiful cabin just as pictured. Very clean. Perfect for couples getaway. Enjoyed the hot tub and close proximity to restaurants, etc. The privacy is somewhat limited due to tiny homes located very close to the cabin, but overall a great place to stay.
We’ve been going to Broken Bow several years. We have never stayed in the same cabin twice. That will change. This one was perfect for us. Secluded enough, but also not 5 miles down the difficult roads you know if you’ve stayed there. It was great. We’ll be back. Great host communication. 5
Loved this cabin! Its not as secluded as you think, but i went during the week and i think i was the only occupant on the whole street, so my stay was very quiet. Would definitely come back!
We had read a couple of reviews about the cabin not being isolated. True, it is located in close proximity to other cabins. However, like with life’s distractions, we were still able to find enough solitude and beauty… with the help of the squirrels, birds, and a couple of visits by a fawn.
The only drawback of the cabin for us was the design. While the cabin was beautiful and well-constructed, the bedroom was open to the living room and the kitchen. I am an early riser, but my fiancé likes to sleep in. I had to move the coffee pot into the bathroom to minimize noise, and I had to try to be very quiet while inside the cabin.
Now, if a couple both likes to sleep in, or they are both early risers, this is not an issue. I did adjust and learn to appreciate the back deck and all of the early morning sounds.
I did have to contact the owners because of an issue which was totally my fault. I did what VRBO requests… I communicated through their app. I waited to hear back from the owners there and assumed they hadn’t answered. When I switched over to my personal e-mail, a response was there. There seemed to be a communication issue due to a glitch with VRBO.
That issue was resolved nicely by the owners, and, overall, we had a very nice stay. Really glad we visited Bear Den Cabin.
Great weekend in Hochatown. The Bear Den was perfect for the two of us. Enjoyed it!

Bear den
It was a little disappointing to arrive and find that the pics posted online were a deceiving bc we were not as secluded as we thought we were going to be. We had several neighbors pretty close and we couldn’t see any of them in the pics. We loved the cabin. it was nice and clean and the hot tub was clean and well cared for. That was very nice. We would have been more comfortable in the evenings if there had been a tv on the bedroom side. But all in all it was good.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Cabin was immaculately clean and well-furnished with the essentials for a comfortable stay and preparing simple meals. Very cozy, luxurious rustic atmosphere that is not far off the highway but not too close to any bustle. Highly recommend!
Beautiful romantic cabin with great location and amenities!
We stayed four nights for our 30th wedding anniversary and had a marvelous time. The cabin was wonderful: very clean and everything worked just as it should. It is quiet! close the door and you can't hear the outside. Beautiful wood throughout and lovely high ceilings. They have a great washer and dryer that made it easy to pack and a wonderful hot tub on the big back porch we enjoyed using after our day hikes in beautiful Beavers Bend State Park. They are also very close to some great restaurants like the Mountain Fork Brewery (great brick oven pizza and burgers) and Shuck Me (seafood). Our hosts, Joe and Maribeth, were great with communication and making everything easy for us. We recommend their beautiful Bear Den cabin wholeheartedly and hope to come back and stay again. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
