Amazing condo, awesome view and the 3 separate beds in the 2nd bedroom were perfect for our three kids. I love when they went to the beach or pool and we could watch them from the balcony. Great hosts too, very detailed instructions left no uncertainty.
Booking, check in and check out were easy and smooth, plenty of parking and a great spot on the beach! We had everything we needed and it was nice and clean when we arrived, excellent ocean view!
Great location right on the beach and not far to venture out to explore. The unit was clean and well kept and any questions we had Lisa was available to answer quickly. Additionally, the beach was not overcrowded as other parts of the Myrtle Beach area can get. We had a great time as a family and would definitely book this unit again.
The location was really great. Parking was good. The layout of the condo was very nice and well furnished and stocked with kitchen supplies. It was generally clean. We had to get a new set of sheets that were clean and I had to sweep the floor when I got there. We enjoyed it a lot.The thing that would be a deal breaker for me between that condo and a comparable one is having to make your own beds. When you rent a nice place like that, your beds should be made. I was told that is the way it has been since covid. Never has that been the issue before. When you get in late (fortunately I got in earlier and could make beds for the others coming in my family who came late) and have to make your own bed....that's just not cool. Honestly, it's not cool anyway. You pay for cleaning and that should be included. The other issue is making bunkbeds. Those are not easy and it really should be done for you. At the VERY LEAST....it should be listed on the description of the unit so guests are not surprised by it. One set of sheets was not clean and fortunately, it was early enough they brought me another set. If you get in late - what would you have to do?The other thing that was frustrating was having to empty the dishwasher and put away the dishes before leaving. This is not a problem except if you eat breakfast before leaving there is not time for all that. We've stayed in a lot of places and the rule has always been to load and run the dishwasher.
Great location and good facility in garden city. Beds were not the best and room could have been cleaned better. Good communication in advance with property manager. No major issues during our stay.
The balcony ocean view was beautiful! A few steps and you were on the beach. The room was clean and big enough for our family of 4. The only 2 complaints we had were the lack of elevator service for the amount of people in the building and the smokers around us when we were on the balcony. Overall a nice place to stay!
This condo was exactly what we were looking for. The views of the ocean were spectacular. The condo itself had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Having the bar/restaurant downstairs was very convenient as well. The only negative thing i have to say about this condo is there was an odd smell that would come and go. But overall it was wonderful!
My family of 3 enjoyed our time at this condo! The location can't be beat; we loved hanging out on the balcony and watching the ocean, going down to the beach, and swimming in the heated indoor pool (the outdoor pool was pretty cold so it was nice to have the indoor pool as an option!) We also made frequent use of the washer/dryer in the unit, very convenient. I also loved that the bunk bed room doesn't have windows, which helped my kid sleep better. If there was one thing to improve, I would wish for more hooks or a retractable clothes line in the showers for more space to hang wet bathing suits. Overall a lovely time!
Only a few negatives, construction going on in other units starts at 9am. Not a lot of beach so have to get out early and umbrellas aren’t allowed past the lifeguard stand. Parking can be an issue if you have an oversized vehicle!!
Very clean, has washer and dryer big plus!! And the view is amazing !!!

Our condo was newly renovated, extremely clean, and family friendly. The view from the balcony was spectacular! Unfortunately, the property was under going a loud and dusty outdoor renovation. We were woken up early every morning by the sound of loud jackhammers. The outdoor pool was closed and the indoor pool was cloudy.

We're all done here.
We stayed in this building, same host - in July - and the furnishings weren't great, we didn't have a great stay - but we felt maybe a different unit - one recently redone - we'd have a better time. Building location was ideal (the first time was vacation, the 2nd time was a work trip) - and so we tried again. This unit WAS better furnished, the beds were super comfy, the things that were problematic last time weren't a problem this time. However... the unit REEKED of what I can only describe as sewage at times and other times what smelled like a chemical "home perm" solution on and off, the entire stay. The stench came and went often enough so that if we'd complained, by the time anyone would've come, it would've vanished.. I can't say for sure it was the fault of *this* host, maybe it's just an adjacent unit having the actual issue but it was on and off (and mostly on) one of those two scents almost the entire visit. Headaches, nausea whenever we were in the room, so much so that we had every single meal OUT (expensive and wasted groceries we never got to use!) because there's NO way you could eat in there... but it would dissipate for an hour or two - and we'd breathe a sigh of relief - and then it was back again. There were other issues, neighbors smoking on balconies, general maintanance (balcony door doesn't slide well, zero water pressure- forget taking a decent shower, ceiling fan didn't work right, noisy AC). Host was ok, but stay somewhere else. We will too.
The place was great and looks better than expected from the outside. The pools, location, and downstairs bar are also awesome. My one complaint is the water pressure in the bathrooms and showers is really low.
This condo was perfect for our 10-day beach exploring vacation. It had everything we needed - kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was comfortable. Everything was clean and in place when we arrived. We spent more time on the balcony than in the unit with the great beach view and all the activities going on below - surfing, fireworks, family fun. The pier, with a great little restaurant and bar and live music at night is just a 15-minute walk down the beach. Huntington Beach State Park is just a 15-minute car ride away and a wonderful day trip experience. We brought sandwiches and stayed all day.
Definitely recommend this condo to a couple who wants to enjoy the beach but be away from the bustle and tourism of Myrtle Beach.

Did not like the condo or the area. Or the parking.
The best part of the condo was the amazing view. Check in was easy. As for the condo, it was just okay. The hall bath room is very small and I am a tiny person. There is no place to really put your stuff. We ended up keeping our clothes in our suit cases in the little bedroom.because the way the dresser is in the master bedroom is awkward to put you clothes in.Upright dresser would be better. It was tight to move around in the bedroom The mattress pad was yellow. The pillows had some stains on it Thank good ness I also brought a set of my sheets. I ended up putting double sheets on the bed. The light from the outside hall shines right in the room, so I couldn’t really sleep. The window needs a blackout curtain. The rugs in both bathrooms were dirty. The small closet in the bedroom looked like it was never cleaned out. They had dirty pillows in there and you couldn’t even put your own beach chairs. I will not stay at the Royal Gardens condo ever again. Like I said, the best part of the condo is the view. This location in Murrells inlet is very congested. There is a lot of kids. There is a lot of golf carts. The parking is a ramp garage. The parking is very bad. It’s very tight to park your car You had people coming and going up the wrong exits. Day of check in, you couldn’t even find a cart to bring your luggage up. We had to make several trips to the car, just to bring our stuff up. The elevators were very slow. We waited twenty minutes just to get an elevator. There was always one down. We ended up taking the stairs most of the time. The restaurant down below didn’t have any ice tea. The pool I found it to be very sandy. It was easy to get to the beach
Sandy beach items in two closets. Moldy hvac vents. Tight accommodations. Small bunk bedroom unnecessary for Two adults. Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean with easy beach access. All considered, a nice vacation
This unit had all of our must-haves, was the perfect location between Myrtle Beach proper and the Inlet and exceeded our expectations! Check-in/Check-out was a breeze. We flew down so only brought carry-ons and were so pleasantly surprised that the unit even has multiple bodyboards and beach chairs to use so our 7yo was beyond happy about that. I had read other reviews about the pigeons taking over the balcony so maybe it was worse at some point? But we were out there every day with coffee enjoying the sunrise. They do seem to like the one back corner but it wasn't offensive or intrusive. We rode out Tropical Storm Elsa, caught up on laundry and were comfortable and unphased through the entire thing so let that be the testament! My family would highly recommend this rental property and would certainly stay here next year!
We had a great week at Royal Gardens. Everything was clean and exactly as described. Great week!
