Bayblue Cottage is located 10 min from the main ferry dock and the center of the main island, this establishment conveniently sit on the northwest side of the island over the bay or Caribbean Sea.

Nestled at the end of a no troug street it makes the property extremely private and most importantly quiet as there’s not triffic. This property has a private beach with a retaining wall measuring 125’ in length and a private dock over the water measure a 110’ with chairs to relax.

Our guest has full access to all these extra amenities so if you want to sun bath or just relax on a lounge chair under a tropical coconut tree just enjoy the aesthetics and ambiance or simply just enjoy the cool Caribbean breeze , all in total private your more than welcome to do so.

Our Cottage is craftman built to the highest building standards with a modern touch it has a beautiful false ceiling, Cable/Smart TV, Air Condition, full kitchen with ample space and all up to date appliances hot and cold shower with water which is approve by our Ministry of Health for comsumption this is a major plus as only a handful of establishment has the city water for everyday use.

Our establishment is tailored give all our guest the felling of been home while away from home, our friends staff is always ready to assist in any way possible to your vacation be as relaxing and as memorable as possible. The owner lives on site so security in not a problem and there aim it to please even it that means going the extra mile to achieve satisfaction.

Francis was so helpful and considerate having the place a little bit off the beaten path in our own private area was very nice. The downtown excitement of caye caulker is amazing but it’s nice to have a retreat.

Great location, short walk to anywhere on the south side of the island, and the included bikes made it easy to explore north of the split. Beautiful property with hammocks and lounge chairs to relax and really lean into the go slow mentality. Host is welcoming and helpful. He lives on the property so he's usually available for any concerns, although we didn't have a single problem. Quiet and away from the main street, but close enough to enjoy anything you'd like. Great spot, highly recommended.

Friendly and Comfy Accommodations

We loved our stay at the Bayblue Cottage. Francis was super helpful and friendly with us getting checked in and giving us recommendations for our visit on the island. We loved the cottage, the view, the hammocks, the beach, and the bikes that were provided which helped us get around. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing

This property was all it was advertised as and more. Having access to water, a hammock, and bikes made our stay so relaxed and welcoming. The best part was the local knowledge and kindness of Francis, the owner. He was present, accommodating, and kind. We learned so much from him and the culture of Belize. Well done, and we will return as friends as soon as possible.

Secluded Gem

Our week on Caye Caulker was totally enhanced by our stay at Bay Blue Cottage. Francis was the perfect host, making sure our every whim and desire was catered to. From picking us up at the boat dock to being certain we had all amenities, he made our stay special. He has a wonderful attention to detail and the quiet, end of the road setting kept us out of the hub bub of the busy town when we wanted it. Having bicycles provided was an added convenience and we got to know the island well on our stay. Our thanks to our host and we definitely would recommend a stay with Francis.

amazing stay

The property was as advertised. Everything up to date and comfortable. Excellent condition bicycles available entire stay-used them every day as it is a bit of a distance to the split where you can swim as well as handier than walking to most of the restaurants. Very doable. Private beach is lovely, but not really a place to swim, but comfortable lounge chairs to sit there and admire the view. Francis (the host) is very responsive and quick to take care of any questions or concerns. Highly recommend.

Doesn’t Get Much Better

Our stay at Hidden Treasure was incredible. From the moment we arrived on the island and met Francis, we knew we were in good hands. First the island: Cay Caulker is fantastic. We came from San Pedro and you cannot even compare the experience. The second you get off the ferry, you are completely relaxed. Francis meets you there to make sure you get to his place without problems. The roads are wide, not congested, well maintained and the route to Hidden Treasure is simple. At night, the area is well lit. The Property: Secure, and the grounds are impeccable. Francis lives there and his main goal is to make sure your are happy and his property is clean. Even the sand gets raked! There are plenty of chairs by the water and dock to enjoy the breeze or watch the sunset. There is also a rooftop patio to watch as well! Our cottage was beautiful. Francis gives you a tour of it and he provides you with a welcome bottle of wine and some bottles of beer. The place is one of the cleanest ones we have ever stayed in and the level of comfort is 10/10! Francis is around all day maintaining the property so if you need anything just walk outside and he is usually somewhere within your line of sight! He and the property made this leg of our trip 100% stress free! Thank you Francis and when we return to Caye Caulker, we will be staying with you again! We were sad to leave!
