Welcome to our beautiful Caribbean home in Puerto Viejo!

Casa Mambo offers an intimate connection to nature, being mostly open, allowing a refreshing flow of air while offering stunning views of the surrounding tropical garden and jungle. Plus, enjoy our private pool that completes the relaxation experience.

Casa Mambo is a beautiful 3BR house located in Playa Negra, just 5 minutes from the town of Puerto Viejo and its serene beaches. The property is completely private and fenced, with very few neighbors around.

The master bedroom is located on the top floor, featuring a large open terrace with a comfortable hammock, ideal for enjoying the garden views. It's equipped with a fan for airflow and mosquito nets to ensure a bug-free experience.

Downstairs, you will find two additional bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds, perfect for kids or friends. Each bedroom includes fans and mosquito nets.

The living spaces are seamlessly integrated with the garden, allowing fresh air to flow through the entire house, giving you a true nature-immersed experience. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your daily meals, and a water purifier is added to the kitchen spigot for clean, potable water.

Please be aware that due to the spiral staircase leading to the second floor and its terrace, we do not recommend renting with children, as it can be dangerous if unsupervised.

For your peace of mind, an alarm system is installed in the house, and safe boxes are provided for extra security.

Gorgeous property!

Though at on initial arrival at dusk we found the home to be quite rustic, on awakening on our first morning we quickly realized how beautiful the home and gardens are, and fell in love with the whole experience. The gardens are gorgeous, immaculate, and private. The wildlife was outstanding, from the howler monkeys we heard daily, to the birds, agouti and sloths! We watched one sloth daily, then found three sloths in one tree - quite a rare experience, we later learned. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen tools, etc., ample towels and comfy bedding.Though mosquito netting is provided, we never needed them and we’re delighted by the lack of mosquitoes. We enjoyed daily walks into town, which is bustling, and enjoyed the quiet, scenic beaches. Be sure to check out the Jaguar Sanctuary as well as the many great restaurants - Lydia’s Place and Tasty Waves were two of our favorites. We hope to return some day!

Experiencia en casa Mambo

El espacio abierto de toda la casa y la privacidad que es perfecta. El parqueo es un poco incómodo para carros grandes, tiene un árbol que no vimos y lamentablemente chocamos el carro. Las gradas hermosas pero uno de los familiares se cayo porque no tiene baranda y se resbaló. Las luces siento que en la piscina falta porque la luz se enciende con el movimiento pero si estas quieto todo está oscuro. De resto nos pareció una excelente opción y volvería.

Absolutely amazing

This is a beautiful property. It is secluded, clean, safe, and very quiet. It is steps away from the beach and the host has amazing commutation skills and even helped me book tours and a taxi. Highly recommend 🌺
