A dedicated traveler, I love to meet new friends. I have travelled to many exotic places and have hosted many exotic guests in my homes. While travelling for pleasure or business, I prefer to stay with local families and integrate culturally. I am very respectful of my host's homes and expect the same from my guests. My enjoyment in life is about creating global friendships and family.
Why they chose this property
Growing up in Calgary, Banff National Park was our backyard where we played and explored the outdoors. After my children were born abroad, I brought them to Canmore, several times a year, to share the Canadian Rockies with them and we stayed at Solara and drove into the Park. We stayed at Solara because we all enjoy luxury, which was not readily available within the park system. One year, my son said "Why don't you buy this condo?". That was the seed which grew in the next couple of years into the purchase of this very property. We looked at and stayed at the other resorts, but Solara had a solidity, a charm about it that none other had. So we decided to make it ours, which allowed us the opportunity to share it with you.
What makes this property unique
Solara resort and Spa is ideally located: It is a 10 minute drive to entrance of Banff National Park, 15 minute walk to downtown Canmore, and is in the in a quiet, landscaped area away from traffic noise. This Penthouse is the absolute best of the 200 units at the Solara Resort and Spa. There are several reasons the we absolutely love this unit. It is on the top floor, has high ceilings, is big and spacious, has granite countertops, large tubs, multi-jet showers, huge balcony and the biggest reason is that this unit offers the breathtaking views of the 3 Sisters and the Ha Ling mountains. The other selling points were the largest hot tub in Canmore and access to the OneWellness Spa which offers complimentary use of the gym and paid full spa services including massages. This beautiful place allows one to enter heavenly states without leaving the earth!
