We had 6 couples stay for a get away and each couple had their own room with a good size bed. Fireplace worked great as well as the kitchen and dining space. It is easy to find in the dark with the Christmas lights. Thank you!

January stay
Overall home is dated, but comfortable. We were disappointed that there were no games. Alison did offer to reimburse us if we wanted to buy some. We also couldn’t use the fireplace, even though there is not a fire ban. There was a bucket on the back porch filled with cigarette butts which was gross. Also, based on online photos, we all thought we would have a view of the valley. One bedroom is actually a living room that has been converted to a bedroom and there are no window coverings on glass doors to front door. Also, the window coverings in the bedroom and bathrooms are see through when lights are on at night. People can see right inside. Now that there is a home being built behind it, updated window coverings will be needed. I think with some updates, accurate photos and a cleaning crew that is more thorough, it would be perfect location for a large group.
Each year my group of friends and I (Ranging from 16-25 people) go on a big ski trip to different mountains all over Colorado and California. That being said, we've stayed at a lot of different homes, apartments, condos, etc. so we have quite a bit of experience living in spaces that accommodate big groups.
Starting with what we liked about the property:
- Allison was a gracious host who was very communicative and responsive to our needs and questions. She was also willing to let us stay past our check out time due to a massive snow squall the morning we were set to leave.
- The space is good, there are plenty of beds for 18 people to sleep.
- Location is excellent! Minutes from downtown Frisco, quick drive to Breck, Keystone and Copper.
Some items we had issues with:
- While it was out of Allison's control, due to the extreme weather in Frisco the week before, one of the community spaces in the house was mainly closed off due to a leak in the roof, and a window in the living room had broken/was covered only by a cardboard box, obstructing our view to outside and causing a slight draft.
- The house is on a septic system, and if one person was in the shower and another tried to use any water, the shower water would completely shut off. Also, the tub in the master took almost an hour to completely fill without other water running. For a house that has 5.5 bathrooms and can sleep 18 people, this is very inconvenient, and in the past we've had no issue with 3-4 people using water at once in mountain homes.
- It's important to note (not shown in pictures) that you have to walk through the community game room to get to the master bedroom, and there is a large opening in the ceiling between the two rooms. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting if you want privacy.
- Master bedroom does not have a closet or drawers to unpack your items.
-Second upstairs bedroom has a glass door with no curtain for privacy.
- Thermostat in the far bedroom on main floor didn't work. When asked owners they told us to just use space heaters, but didn't know where they were located in the house (could have been better communicated before our stay)
-Kitchen could be better stocked with measuring cups/spoons, etc.
- Many rooms lacked window blinds, so sleeping in was near impossible
-Not the cleanest
All in all, nice property, but not the nicest we've ever stayed in. Due to the abundance of large homes in the Summit County area, we most likely wouldn't return.

I keep running into this review and I guess the most frustrating comments that I feel the need to address is the window broken by the snow fall a few days earlier. There was a cardboard backed by a piece of plywood. Not simply a little piece of cardboard between living room and the Elements as states in review. And true statement , weather issues were indeed out of our control. And the claim of not being “cleanly”? There are some dates things in the household, but they are very clean. I have a cleaning crew that are Very experience with Airbnb (and my ) standards. But I also personally come up periodically and pull the couch cushions and move and clean under furniture. It is very discouraging to work so hard to make sure things are perfect and get dashed. We too travel quite a bit as my husbands a pilot. We stay in Many places. I feel our property is quite clean, quite comfortable and without bias, exceptional.
We really enjoyed our time here. The house came with a fully stocked kitchen and amenities were great. Location wise, it's a short walk to Main Street in Frisco. Would come back in a heart beat.
Alison’s place is wonderful, big enough to accommodate large groups. Great location too. The communication from Alison was FANTASTIC! Answered every message quickly and was very accommodating to our needs and our large group. Highly recommended host and stay!
The property was plenty spacious. We were there when it was hot out and the house didn’t cool down well. The traffic noise was a problem with all of the windows open. However, we all had a good time and had plenty of room for the 18 of us.

Sorry you had a terrible time. Fans are provided to help cool off in the evening and drown out any ambient noise. Giving a 3 star review for 2 things we have no control over seems mean spirited and hurts our business.
Alison was great to work with and any/all home repairs that were mentioned earlier in previous reviews were all completed before our stay, so we had a very nice time at the home! We rode the complementary bikes a very short ride to Main Street in downtown Frisco for dinners and over to the Frisco Marina. The home is centrally located near all the ski towns! I would highly recommend this home to others!
The house was great, perfect for a big group as there are tons of beds and space to spread out. Can walk or bike to Main Street and the marina! House was in great shape and check in / out was very easy.
So much space, everyone had their privacy and we certainly did not feel on top of each other! Total of 9 plus 4 dogs and we had a blast! The big dining room table made it easy for all of us to play games every night. The sweet town of Frisco is beyond words, the marina was like an oasis, definitely take the family there for a fun day in the sun! Thank you Alison for all your accomodations, you were a joy to work with! Lasinda

Would not recommend this property
Our stay fell in mid March 2020 during the downward spiral of Covid-19 but that was not our major issue. Upon arrival the property's roof was tarped, half the garage was closed off with plastic tarps and the upstairs living area was closed off with plastic tarps. There was plastic on carpet to protect it from construction traffic. This house was under reconstruction from water and snow damage and the owner failed to mention any of this until we were inside the property. Three hours after our arrival, the governor closed all the ski resorts. We were in the house a total of 5 hours then had to leave to get out of the chaos that was about to begin at the airport. I spoke to the owner by phone when we arrived and she indicated that there was a heavy snowfall in Frisco a few weeks prior to our stay and the house had been damaged severely due to the weight of the snow. I informed her two hours later that we were leaving the property immediately. I believe the owner failing to divulge that information prior to our arrival was reason enough to cancel our reservation and refund our money. To date, she has refused us a refund and returned zero dollars of our reservation. As for the property itself, it is a house full of bedrooms with an odd layout. The downstairs master bedroom is the front door entrance and its bathroom window looks into a dirty shed (not outside.) The bedroom at the top of the stairs has no privacy with a see through glass door and the upstairs master bedroom has a giant pink jacuzzi tub in the middle of it with a sitting area next to the tub. We will continue our attempts for a refund.

I spoke to the individual that booked the property. She inquired about the slopes being open and such. I asked her to call resorts directly because I really didn’t know what was to go on. She asked about the refund policy at this point and I told her we had a strict cancellation policy and she could revue details on the site. She said she was going to talk to the other part of her group, but sounded like they were going to cancel their flight at this point. I never heard back and wrongly assumed they were going to be a no show. The rest of the “group” showed up halfway unexpectedly. At this time I explained the snow damage. The areas were of no living space, and of no inconvenience really. The plastic on the carpet was to protect and was clean. As for our jacuzzi tub in the master. Well, technically it’s salmon. Wouldn’t categorize it as pink. As much as I would love to replace with another color, we have other thing we would like to spend our money on this property making it better for our guests. It is perfectly clean and functioning.
We had an interesting but very positive experience staying at this hike one week after a major snowstorm and one week before the corona virus hit! There was snow damage to the home and the homeowners were very accommodating to our group! They are very friendly and easy to talk to, and I appreciate all of their hard work getting the home ready for us to stay at! Would recommend them highly! Hope to stay there again in the future!
Our party very much enjoyed our stay. The property is well appointed with all the modcons you could wish for. From the three coffee machines to the high tech two ovens, we had everything we could need to cater for everyone.
The bedrooms were spacious and as shown, with lovely clean and crisp white linen. The bathrooms were catered with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and there were plenty of white towels and face cloths.
This house was great for the 9 adults that we had, but anymore than 10 would struggle to all sit together - there is an additional upstairs living area however, and so a larger with a mix of adults and children would be well accommodated.
Points to note - a 4x4 is needed for the winter months.
All in all, a wonderful stay - Alison was quick to respond and very accommodating. Thank you for everything.
Rented for a week for the whole family. 18 people ages 81 to 2. Everyone had their own beds... Lots of places for the whole family to hang out and at the same time places to escape and you never felt on top of anyone.
Super convenient to Copper, Breck, Frisco, adventure park, snowshoe trails and everything else Summit has to offer. For large diverse groups the house is perfect.
Responsive and nice owners. Clean and fully stocked kitchen. Would rent again!!!!
The home was great! Had plenty of bedrooms to accommodate the entire family. Kitchen was plenty big to cook for 12.
We were all pleasantly surprised to find a Christmas tree inside! How great and magical it was. That was a very nice detail to have.
Communication was also great as I had a few questions about the home. All questions were answered promptly!
This house was amazing for my group. Enough space and bedrooms. The kitchen was awesome and everything was so clean! The master bedroom was breath taking! Would definitely stay again.
We were very happy with our stay here. It's convenient, comfortable and well-appointed. We were a large group - - 10 adults and 8 children aged 12 and under - - and this home accommodated us very well. It's important to communicate well to have an excellent experience in a home you've never seen and the owner was prompt and helpful in her responses. Our stay was a delight from start to finish.
